They say its the last hoodie you'll ever buy. For that I can say is the truth. I stay in Scotland and believe me it's cold at least 300 days of the year. Baerskin does block out the cold bitter wind and keeps, the warmth tucked up in side the hoodie. U know how much heat is retained when you open it up and feel the heat slowly disappear. Fantastic products which live up to there name and excellent customer service when required to contact them, sadly to say I had too. Not through any fault of the Baerskin tak team, there service was emence. Well worth the money.
I ordered 4 hoodies and after a long wait received only 2. I reached out via email multiple times and was basically told I received my order. I did not. I'm still waiting on 2 hoodies. The last few emails I didn't even get a response and there is no customer service number to call that I can see. It's a shame because I really like the product I ordered.
Hoodie is outstanding in every way.
Online purchasing is cumbersome and disjointed, Ordered 3 hoodies in 2023 and all were of excellent quality and fit. Shipping time is excessive but only a very slight frustration. A major problem is no clear way to order a hoodie and send as gift to an address other than your billing address. See below for details.
My first order was a birthday gift for my grandson that lives is a different state; he lives in CT, I live in VA.
On the order form I clearly stated this was a gift that was for a person in another state. As soon as the order was confirmed I immediately sent a follow up note to Customer Service telling them of my concern that the hoodie should not be sent to my billing and home address. Totally ignored and I had to pay ship cost.
On line research was very persuasive and was an accurate presentation of the product.
This refers to the mark 1 version. As described in their advert. Excellent fleece. Lots of pockets. My only criticism would be that it would be better with Velcro to the internal pockets to stop items falling out and a loop to hang it up with. I believe the mark 2 update is better in these aspects, so would highly recommend the later version.
I wanted a fleece that would be tough enough to be able to take some abuse and not let me down.

I have bought a hoodie and a vest for my husband and a 3.0 hoodie for my son and daughter-in-law. Bought my husband's several years ago and he loves it so much that I got him a vest for when it is not too cold. He loves the pockets, the comfort and the fit.
We just bought one each for our son and DIL. They love them. Our son wears his constantly! They keep them wa4m in their drafty apartment. Perfect for cool weather camping!
The first contact was quite confusing. I am waiting for a smaller size for DIL.
We initially bought the one for my husband due to good reviews on The Blaze. Bought the others because h3 loved his so much.

So far, the goodies seems well made. Although, I expected a little bit more warmth and better wind protection. The inside of the hoodie could be softer or with a liner. Also, the zippered pockets could be deeper especially on the chest for cell phones.

I've had lots of old fashioned hoodies and they are all OK. But the Baerskin is a hoodie for life: its great even in South Dakota winters with minimal layering, great for travel with the zip pockets keeping my gadgets secure and easily accessible. I even used it as a make-shift sleeping bag a couple times.
It looked pretty cozy and I knew the zip pockets would solve my main concern of losing my gear out of an unsecured front pouch.

Having worn Carhardtt for 18 years your product with new technologies surpasses Carhardtt by todays standards. I am considered portly built but your product is extremely flattering on me. Washing it is a nightmare, it must weigh 20 lbs when wet, a regular household washing machine can't spin all the water out, afraid to wear it in the rain, it will probably absorb the rain and I will be walking around in a heavy, wet anchor; wore the hoodie one cold blustery day and was freezing due to the wind blowing right through it; total waste of money; very unhappy customer :(

I like the material and warmth of the jacket, the hood, and the pockets. However, the jacket needs a loop at the back of the neck to hang it on a hook. Also, the material of the closure at the wrists is too bulky...as a result they keep catching on things.
I needed a short, warm jacket to throw on quickly.
As an avid camper and hiker I am always looking for durable gear. The Baerskin Hoodie, although targeted towards men, is a great addition to any female's go bag. It has enough room to accommodate layering and keeps the wind out.The numerous pockets reduce the need for a daypack.

Zipper on the wrong side, collects lint like a vacuum, sized incorrectly, took way TOO LONG to get. I'll NEVER buy another one EVER. I tell my friends, too. Not very warm, either. Very unhappy with it. I bought one when they first came out and ended up giving it to my son and he never wore it either.
They didn't do a thing for me.
I thought it looked cool.

Regarding the positioning of the zipper on our older model of Baerskin Hoodie which you received, we can confirm that this was, in fact, an intended feature of our product. This particularity occurred simply because our hoodie was designed in Europe. The positioning of the zipper on the left side is a marker of all European men's clothing designs.
Please rest assured that this feature is neither a manufacturing defect nor an indication of the fact that the hoodie had been created for a specific gender group. We have recently released a separate version of the hoodie for women, but the placement of the zipper in this version is the same due to the reason stated previously. We apologize for the confusion.

I was rather sceptical when watching the promotional videos but decided that I needed a new fleece so would give it a go. As soon as I put my hoodie on I immediately understood that the hype was correct and that the comfort level was amazing. Having worn it for quite a while now I purchased an additional one for our middle son. His experience has matched mine and he loves his BÆRSkin Hoodie.

These products are amazing! Initially I ordered a man's vest and woman's jacket. Loved them so much I ordered a man's jacket and another woman's jacket for me. We also received a free beanie which I love! The jackets are true to size however the beanie runs small. Initially I thought the beanie would fit my husband, it didn't cover his ears. It fits me perfectly! Then because we love everything about these jackets, we ordered 2 more as gifts for our adult children. The shipping was timely and the communication with the store was great. I've no regrets with these purchases and will continue to recommend them to friends and family!

It's been 13 days since I ordered and sent them emails when my order is going to be shipped, No response. I'm afraid if this is just a scam. When I checked to make a copy of my order all emails from Baer was deleted.

I relented and purchased two hoodies, one grey the other green, after seeing reviews and being bombarded by adverts for them.
I'd been thinking of getting new hoodies anyway so was already looking.
After reading some negative reviews I was a bit apprehensive but needn't have been.
These are lovely and soft and good quality. They certainly help keep you warm and protect you when a cold wind blows but I've not worn one yet as the only protective layer in minus temperatures.
If you want something with lots of pockets these certainly have that. I bought mine 'over sized' as I don't like tight clothing, especially hoodies.
Delivery took a few weeks but I wasn't in a rush.

Think they are a scam. Like others here, I ordered in mid December and have not received. When I email they send canned replies, like it is out to deliver by local carrier (same message I got a week ago). None of the emails say where it actually is. No response to requests for refund. Just curious, think they may actually be sending mass mailings with the same order number--anybody out there have order number ******* on their emails as their order number, like mine?

I like it. Warm, but a bit bulky. (The newest model fixes that.) Wore it all last winter, & this so far. Most often in the colder weather just needs a good layer or two underneath it.
(It would really be the bomb if it had a Gortex type of inner lining.)
Actually, the hoodie is quite comfortable. However, the zipper is backwards. It is what one would find on women's clothing. It zips from the left. Just aggravating and for this reason I would not recommend it unless you are a woman. When I contacted the company (which promotes itself in its ads as All-American), they said it is made in China. They basically blew me off regarding the zipper issue.

The order was made quickly and delivered quickly. The jacket is very warm and feels great. Within a month one of the pocket zippers started sticking open and not reclosing. I stitched the ends together and it works fairly well now. The front zipper performed well for about 6 months but them it started being a bit of a hassle. The double zipper gets out of line and wont work properly. Overall though I love the warmth and feel of this jacket. Plenty of pockets!

Baerskin Hoodie features a 2-way zip that is designed to open from the bottom of the zip as well as from the top. This type of zip adds extra breathability and better temperature control, as well as easier access to internal pockets.
This fleece is a soft napped insulating fabric. It is very comfortable due to its lightweight and anti-perspiration qualities and allows moisture to evaporate while blocking humidity from the outside.

After two weeks with no shipping information I tried to cancel the order and was told I could not cancel because they had already shipped. Great if that was the case but not so much. Two weeks later I get a tracking number that says basically nothing. If I recall it was between 6-8 weeks to get the jackets. If you are not in a hurry the jacket isn't bad for the price my biggest complaint is the backwards zippers.

When you are used to zipping up all you other jackets the same way be aware that the zipper for this is on the opposite side. It's annoying but doable. I got one for a buddy and he doesn't like it because of the zipper and gave it back to me. I don't like it either but deal with it.

After seeing the commercial and watching some YouTube reviews of the BAERSkin hoodies, I decided to give it a try. I have not been disappointed. While it has great features like the many pockets it is the warmth and windproof design that keeps me coming back. It performs so well that it has become my goto winter jacket. If I do have a complaint it is the hood being so large that it does not have a very snug fit on my head. Minor quibble but but it should be noted.
