They say its the last hoodie you'll ever buy. For that I can say is the truth. I stay in Scotland and believe me it's cold at least 300 days of the year. Baerskin does block out the cold bitter wind and keeps, the warmth tucked up in side the hoodie. U know how much heat is retained when you open it up and feel the heat slowly disappear. Fantastic products which live up to there name and excellent customer service when required to contact them, sadly to say I had too. Not through any fault of the Baerskin tak team, there service was emence. Well worth the money.
I ordered 4 hoodies and after a long wait received only 2. I reached out via email multiple times and was basically told I received my order. I did not. I'm still waiting on 2 hoodies. The last few emails I didn't even get a response and there is no customer service number to call that I can see. It's a shame because I really like the product I ordered.
I somehow got the wrong size. May have been my fault. I contacted the Bearskin people and they would not do anything. It was a time sensitive gift for someone traveling abroad. I asked them to just send the correct size (charge me for it) and I'd return the other. They would not do that until the original one was returned. I have already bought 8 hoodies from them.

My first jacket had Velcro go bad on the right sleeve and had lots of stitching come out. They were nice to me and sent me a new jacket. This jacket does not seem to help keep me warm. What it does good is shed off the rain and it dries fast, and it does help with blocking the wind.

We've ordered two hoodies. One doesn't fit and we've emailed the company several times with no response. We found a phone number, but you can't talk to anybody on that line. Do not order from this company. All they do is take your money and run!

The product is poorly engineered. Pockets poorly made and poorly located. Zippers are low quality. Material is garbage, workmanship is garbage. All the advertising is a lie. The hood is at least twice as big as it should be. It came in a really nice bag. Only good part of product. Working on refund. I haven't received a response. And one phone number is always busy. Chinese GARBAGE.

Bought a hoodie, it took months to arrive. When it did arrive, the finishing was of a low standard and it had several hanging threads. Contacted customer service, who first told me to donate the hoodie and they would dispatch another. Having donated it, I got a follow up email asking for photos of the issue. It's impossible to send photos of something you told me to give away, so now I have no hoodie.

I love my Hoodie and also got one for my spouse. The shipping was a nightmare, but the final product (after returns etc and waiting for the hoodies which took forever to arrive from China or wherever), I am satisfied with the product. They fit well, run true to size and work for three seasons where I live (great under layer in winter). I love all the pockets. Don't wear near a camp fire as sparks will melt the fabric.

Hoodie is warm enough and as advertised, has lots of pockets. I am a big guy in at 320 and 6 foot. So I ordered a 3x. Fits fine except the length. It was way to short and went up above my belt line. I was little sad but someone in need got a good donation from my local Salvation Army.

The hoodie is great and seems like it will be very warm this winter. Comfortable and stylish with draw string, cinch straps and pockets galore! The only disappointment was the length of time it took to arrive. Worth the wait though.

I would think twice about ordering from this company. I never write reviews but have been so upset about their lack of response regarding a return/exchange that I decided to express my opinion. My husband ordered two M size hoodies which is his size in most everything. The hoodies were more like a large on him. Very big. So I wanted to return for an exchange but they have no phone number and I have emailed them twice with no response. I find this completely unacceptable. These were expensive and now I am stuck with a product that he cannot wear. I would NOT buy from them. I deplore companies that falsely advertise their policies. Terrible company!

I bought two of these hoodies, one for my husband and one for my stepson, and they both love them! I probably could have bought the size smaller for both of them as they seemed to run a bit large, but overall, they are very happy with them.
I wanted to give a unique gift for the builder/hunter/sportsmen in my life. Very warm, and the pockets are incredibly useful.
Ordered 1 jacket. It arrived in about 2 weeks. It did not fit or look good on me. I have been trying to return in since receiving it. I have emailed them three times but so far have not gotten a return form. There is no phone number, no address or any way to contact them. The company I read is in Switzerland, and some 'agent' works in delaware, but still no way to contact them. If I get my money refunded, I will edit this review, otherwise it will stand as is. Not a reliable company.

It is NOT as good as advertised, above a certain temperature by a degree or two and you cook, below a certain temperature and you freeze, so the temperature range they're good for is relatively small. Also, doesn't block much wind at all. It pretty much goes right through, especially the colder it is. And the zipper is bassackwards, on the left instead of the right side when you go to zip it up. WTF?!
Pockets are great and plentiful, only strange part with them is the inside pockets go over the outside pockets. Until this and one other sweater I got later, I've never seen such weird construction before. Therefore, if they're NOT on sale for 60% or more off, (i.e. Less than $100), not worth the normal retail price.

Originally bought 3 Series One Baerskin jackets. I wear one daily in my house for warmth. I bought one Series Two jacket that I wear daily during the cold months. And recently I bought one Series Three jacket. All great stuff.

The new 3.0 version has 6 internal pockets (3 zip pockets & 3 drop pockets), round toggles, arm zips moved to upper sleeves for ease of movement, and rubber tab adjustable cuffs.
It's made from anti-pill fleece which will not incur pilling. This refers to the little bubbles that you may have seen around areas where the fleece frequently rubs against the body. The anti-pill is of a better quality and ensures longer lasting.

The style, fit and overall look of the hoodies are great. However, I can't say that it's the warmest hoodie I've worn, especially at the cost. I live in the Northeast and during some of the colder parts of the winter time, you'll definitely notice even a light breeze through it unless you've got other layers on underneath.
I found cheaper fleece hoodies that have done a better job at keeping you warm.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, so he didn't get it until a couple of months after I received it. BiG mistake. The first time we washed it the zipper tabs fell off. When I contacted Baerskin they told me I only had 14 days to return. I sent them a pic of the POS after one wash and they then said the guarantee was for six months. Since I didn't give the hoodie to my hubby until his birthday, we're out of luck with an expensive hoodie that won't zip. I'd give them zero stars if I could.

That must have been such a frustrating experience. We are sorry to hear that.
Indeed, as a general rule, we allow exchanges and returns as long as the customer contacts us within 14 days of receiving their product. As for products that arrived damaged or were damaged during use, we have a longer guarantee period. It seems that your request was refused because you contacted us way past both timeframes.
Our return policy is publicly stated on the "Terms and Conditions" and "Our return policy" sections of our website, and we hope you understand that we have set these policies in place because while customer satisfaction is important to us, we are also only a small company. In order to keep our business running, we have to set some guidelines to avoid abuse.
We also expect that our customers will have determined whether they want to have their product exchanged or returned, or whether their products are damaged or easily broken within the timeframe we specified.
Lastly, regarding our shipping time, we must admit that this has been one of our main weaknesses for the past months. Luckily, we have found better transportation solutions. We expect things to improve soon.

Love my BaerSkin Hoodie. It is very well made and comfortable. My only issue is the zipper is on the left side and sometimes hard to get started. But other than that, lots of pockets, very warm in cold weather and I can't take it off. I love wearing it around the house and outside.

I like the quality, but I still find the velcro straps at the sleeve need a redesign. I was initially drawn to Baerskin by the thumb hole... The package is pretty good, and I think we have three or four garments in regular wear and wash... so - I guess we are converted to the brand...
They tried to assist - the experience has been fine I guess - but in this house we always look for clothing for next season... and we see no news?
I think it is one word... "Quality"... and by quality, it shows in the weight of the fleece.

The jacket is not any warmer than a regular sweatshirt. I would have definitely shipped it back, took about 5 weeks to receive. It is made in China and shipped from there. Shipping returns are not free, would have cost $30.00 to ship it back. I was afraid of not getting a refund it who knows when, wasn't worth what I paid for it. The commercials are not true for Missouri weather, maybe for China.
