They say its the last hoodie you'll ever buy. For that I can say is the truth. I stay in Scotland and believe me it's cold at least 300 days of the year. Baerskin does block out the cold bitter wind and keeps, the warmth tucked up in side the hoodie. U know how much heat is retained when you open it up and feel the heat slowly disappear. Fantastic products which live up to there name and excellent customer service when required to contact them, sadly to say I had too. Not through any fault of the Baerskin tak team, there service was emence. Well worth the money.
I ordered 4 hoodies and after a long wait received only 2. I reached out via email multiple times and was basically told I received my order. I did not. I'm still waiting on 2 hoodies. The last few emails I didn't even get a response and there is no customer service number to call that I can see. It's a shame because I really like the product I ordered.
I've had the Hoodie for a couple of months now, and don't go anywhere without it. I use it in the office (thermostat is always locked in freezing cold) and used it on my trips to Alaska. The hoodie is excellent and has all the features as mentioned in the advertisement. I had to get used to the double zipper function, but am loving it now!

I purchased the "first generation" of the Baerskin hoodie. It's not windproof, the hood has no drawstring and it's not useful as an outdoor garment when temperatures drop much below double digits...
I now use it indoors as a "house jacket" and regret having wasted my money.
The newer version is ridiculously expensive and not worth risking another questionable purchase.

I received my hoodie it was gigantic. The zipper was on the wrong side. So I assume it was made for a huge woman. There was no hoodie string so the hoodie blows right off. Just for the record i'm not a huge woman. I'm a Skinny Man that wears a large.

It has been over 3 weeks since my order was shipped. I have tried to track the shipment but since it arrived in the US the tracking system has shut down. After waiting about 45 minutes on the phone today I was able to speak with a very nice women. Unfortunately she could not help me. It appears to me that the shipment is lost. I asked her "how do I cancel the order and get a refund"? The answer ie I have to refuse the order when it arrives. But what if it never arrives? Response, refuse it when it arrives! My next call is to the CC company to dispute the charge. I guess I expected this to be a high end, great quality product with service to match. I guess I expected too much!

I ordered two hoodies a month ago and I'm still waiting for delivery. I've emailed asking for information on delivery with no response as of yet. After reading the reviews here I'm now confident this site is a full on scam and I am now out $200. Kudos to whomever owns Baerskin Hoodies you conned us all… if you actually made and sold what you advertised you would have one helluva product. I'm more than willing to update this review if and when the hoodies I ordered ever show. As of now I do not recommend doing business with this company.

I found the hoodie design to be pretty good and functional. As for wind resistance, not really. The main zip closure was backwards (like typical ladies coats). I also felt that the price was a bit high for the garment.

I have had my Bearskin almost a year, I enjoy wearing this coat, its many pockets come in handy for all the things I carry while out and about. I have worn this jacket while just shopping or while out in the woods in 20 inches of snow, very versatile. Keeps me warm and toasty.

I started out bragging about how good the hoodie was to friends and family.
Within a month of light wear, using the hoodie once or twice a week; the zippers started to separate from the fabric. Contacted bareskin and no reply was ever sent back. Just like every other online company once the sale is made they are done with you.

The BAERSkin jacket is nice. Lots of pockets. I don't like the "visor" on the hood. It just gets in the way by hanging in my face. It might be better if the visor was more of a curved shape. I will probably cut it off. While it is comfortable, I live in a windy area and the wind cuts through the jacket more than I would like.

It had a lot of features I was looking for. I wanted something comfortable, had a hood, zipped up the front, and zipped up the neck as well. The zipper up the neck was the biggest selling feature for me.

No where does it explain the zipper is left handed. Just another hassle to get dressed with this. Only on a few occasions do I envision myself using this hoodie. Good quality, but too many different issues to address to make this a go to outerwear at this stage.

I have had my Baerskin hoodie for 2 years now and it is absolutely fantastic. I cannot say anything negative. When I purchased my Baerskin hoodie I had also bought a winter coat at the same time. I have not wore that winter coat once, I have been using the Baerskin hoodie for everything. Lots of pockets and cargo space, great quality, great craftsmanship and very very warm a durable. I high you recommended this hoodie and I will definitely order again in the future.
I love fleece, I have always loved fleece because it keeps you warm and wicks moisture away very well. I liked the whole setup of the Baerskin hoodie. Great thick fleece, numerous pockets, a hood and very versatile and durable. I’m hoping to see camouflage variants of coats/jackets and cargo pants in the future.

I made the mistake of ordering this hoodie on line, it was one of those rushed buy by and a clock ticking, never noticed they had listed it as a womans and not a mans hoodie. When i called customer service minutes later i was told the order was in and i would have to wait for it to arrive, then send it back and wait for a new one to come back again, The thing came from China and took weeks to get here, I just kept it, The hood is way to big i have to wear a hat under it just to keep it out of my face.
i did not mark male or female on the order form , it just came as female. I never saw a place for it. when i called they said sorry you will have to wait for it to come in and then send it back to get a different one. , i was cold and could not wait for all the time. i just kept it and get embarrassed every time one of my friends looks at it and notices that its a woman's and not a mans. i have gotten to the point i only wear it at home , not when i go out i tell everyone i know not to buy from this company , and will continue to do so .

Cant review the product because it has never arrived! Three months ago i ordered this. I will wait a few more weeks then cancel through credit card company. I contacted them and they got back to me right away. Said the package has become lost. I applied of a refund via Paypal

The product is a great quality, I do wish the sleeves were a little longer. I bought a M for myself, and a large for my husband and both the sleeves we would have liked to be a little longer. If you are between a woman's M and S I would go with the small as the M woman's seems to run large. I'm not sure the difference in the sleeve length though from the M to S. We live on our boat and snow ski in the winter. We have already used our jackets out on the water and they are very warm.

I feel that I have been ripped off, and i am a pensioner. It is a woman's fit and is too baggy and too short for me but I have been forced to wear it as th paid £80 for it. I was told they were sending me a gents but it has never happened, just gave me lip service and the more I receive that the more I resent this company!

I ordered the jacket before winter. It came in the mail and had a slice in the package that cut through to the jacket. I refused it and contacted the company. It took 2 and a half months to get a replacement. Finally it came in March of 2023.

I found this hoodie for my son, who works on cars and spends time lying on concrete. Also bought the pants. He LOVES the hoodie, fits like a glove, pockets for all his stuff, and keeps him warm.
I like the write up of the features, especially the wind barrier. He's outside a lot, and it's often windy here. He likes it so much, I bought him a second Baerskin in another color!

I bought three of these jackets for gifts and all three people had issues within the first few weeks mine is no longer usable and when I talked to the company they said that's because that's the old version we have new versions now the ones that aren't s***** they didn't even offer me a refund horrible company horrible company

The good is this will keep you warm, the bad is the main zipper is backwards and the worst zipper ever, very difficult to get it to engage it is so small. The chest pocket opening is so small I have to fight to get my standard size Samsung S10 into and out of it.

Hi I have found my bearskin hoodie a bit difficult to put on as it rides up your back, then when you pull it down, I find the hoodie a bit short, in my opinion it should be at least 2" / 50mm longer and a inside liner, to make it easier to put on, that's my personal opinion.
Now having said that I do like my hoodie the manufacturer and material quality is very good and not short of pockets, good value for the money, get the minor issues sorted, and I will buy another one, thank you.

I love this material, but I have a problem with the zipper being both at the top and bottom with no way to open the jacket. Also, according to the information on the website, the medium should fit me so I ordered it, I would have ordered a large if it had not been for that information. If I could open it like I would be able to do with a regular zipper, it would be ok but as it is, it is to small.

Thought the hoodie was awesome... great weight, super warm and comfortable. After only 4 months, the bottom of the zipper broke and was not reparable. Tried customer service twice and did not receive any kind of response.
