They say its the last hoodie you'll ever buy. For that I can say is the truth. I stay in Scotland and believe me it's cold at least 300 days of the year. Baerskin does block out the cold bitter wind and keeps, the warmth tucked up in side the hoodie. U know how much heat is retained when you open it up and feel the heat slowly disappear. Fantastic products which live up to there name and excellent customer service when required to contact them, sadly to say I had too. Not through any fault of the Baerskin tak team, there service was emence. Well worth the money.
I ordered 4 hoodies and after a long wait received only 2. I reached out via email multiple times and was basically told I received my order. I did not. I'm still waiting on 2 hoodies. The last few emails I didn't even get a response and there is no customer service number to call that I can see. It's a shame because I really like the product I ordered.
Very smooth experience would highly recommend to another person and my hoodie came 1 day earlier than it was supposed to planning on switching all my hoodies to baerskin at this point

1 year ago I bought the best fleece money can buy. I bought 2 actually, they are my go to when it gets really cold. High quality! I will buy one for my brother.
Zippers on rear pocket no completely sewn in, consequently the zipper pull came of the zipper rail, now open pocket catches on door latches seat corners etc

I waited TWO months for my TWO hoodies. After several e-mails (20+} I finally rec'd my hoodies. Also in the men time they sent me a pair of Women's sneaks, size 7! What a rippoff!

Two for myself, one for my son in law. Granddaughter expropriated that one. It's her favorite. With my two, there's always a spare when the other is being laundered.
Yeah, the zipper opens from the top or bottom. But it does not open completely.
They don't tell you that, and they get bent if you tell them that.
Get a nice Merino Wool Sweater instead.
Hi Paul, thank you for taking a moment to post your feedback here! Indeed, our product features a 2-way zip that is designed to open from the bottom of the zip as well as from the top. This type of a zip adds extra breathability and better temperature control, as well as easier access to internal pockets (our hoodie has 6 of them!). To use it, we recommend that you follow these steps:
1. Zip both sliders down to the very bottom and press them together.
2. Insert zip edge into both sliders - it's important that the zip edge is inserted into both sliders and firmly locked in place at the bottom of the second slider
3. Zip the top (and the bottom) slider to a desired height
4. To unzip, just go in reverse
However, if these don’t work, it’s possible that your zipper is damaged. In that case, kindly send me an email that shows the defect at stephanie@baerskinhoodie.com so I can look into this and assist you further.

I waited over 30 days for delivery of this hoodie. If I'd realized they were shipping from mainland China, I would not have ordered the hoodie. It's like there's no inventory in the US. You have to place your order with no warning of how long it will take and then begin wondering when your order will show up! The hoodie is a decent product, but I won't buy again until fulfillment is corrected.
About the hoodie itself:
A. Material and construction are first rate.
B. Hoodie provides excellent "medium" warmth; not "windstopper" material however.
C. Reverse the front, main zipper pull from left side of garment to right side of garment. That's the convention for men's clothing in North America.
D. Give us a better way to shape the hood by shrinking the volume of hood in back. As it stands now, you can use drawstring to reduce opening for face, but too much material left to "balloon" at back of hood which eventually slides forward to obstruct periphreal vision.
E. Delete the silly visor on the hood! It's too small to provide any shade for the eyes or shield you from rain and it makes the hood look ugly

Well, it's not only a great looking jacket but it's warm, good attention to details, everything seams to have been put in a specific location for a reason.
I was missing a jacket in my order, they looked to find it and they sent me a replacement one at no extra cost to me.

I do wish that you sold sizes designed for big and TALL - I love the new hoody except it's just a little short in length so sometimes I get a draft up my back

I bought this Jacket as a warm and tough hoodie for flying Helicopter in the winter! I stops wind and keeps you warm! I was flying in New York in 20 degree weather! Was so warm!

I have two of the BAERSkin hoodies. This was my fault as I ordered the first one a size larger that normal for me and it was huge. As I live the UK and had worn the hoodie a few times I couldn't send it back. I gave it to a friend who loves it. I then bought one in my size and they are very generous with sizing, it's still a bit big but I like it slightly loose fitting. The first one I bought was a V2.0 and the 2nd one I got was a V3.0 - the V3.0 is better made with even more pockets. One other thing - they very rarely have all the collours available. I wanted an orange one but they were never in stock. I got the tan one which is very nice and the light grey (bit boring).

This version has 6 internal pockets (3 zip pockets & 3 drop pockets), round toggles, arm zips moved to upper sleeves for ease of movement, and rubber tab adjustable cuffs.
It's made from anti-pill fleece which will not incur pilling. This refers to the little bubbles that you may have seen around areas where the fleece frequently rubs against the body. The anti-pill is of a better quality and ensures longer lasting.
When it comes to colors, we're sorry to hear that you weren't able to order the one you originally wanted. Recently, we have had a marked increase in demand for our Baerski Tactical Hoodies, so some colors are low in stock. This hoodie is very useful, no need for a coat if you are shopping or running errands because your hoodie with the multiple pockets has a place for all your hands free items.
I have purchased a lot of these hoodies they are brilliant delivery was slow but the item was fantastic.
Shorting out the slow delivery issue I had a problem getting a response to my messages.
I have been a regular customer of this company and they have been great the only weak spot is the delivery service which is very poor.

The day I received my order, I tried it on and it's too small! I sent an email the same day, and barring weekends, the never responded. I've sent 5 additional emails, and no response. I'm to the point they can have their merchandise back and will never hear from me again! Their "phone number" is a Verizon business number that when you call it your response on a handheld is "User Busy" no matter what time of day or night it is, you will get the same message (speaking from my own experience). This began on Dec 31,2022. On Feb 3, my 14 day exchange or return will expire. Time will tell if they get off the pot and respond?
BAERSkin is a decent product but the "firm(?)" that sells it flat out stinks! I've never been scammed by an online vendor until now and never again will it happen to me! The state of Delaware should be embarrassed and investigate this horrible vendor! Why Delaware? That's the address they're using, if in fact they really are there?
The reason I gave 1 star is because they don't allow no stars or even a 1/2 star!
Tip for consumers:
Buy from another vendor. There’s many others out there that have just as good a product if not better! The service is horrific and you wait no less than 3 weeks after they take your money!

We must admit that we have been overwhelmed with the high volume of emails we received over the holiday season, so we had a challenging time answering emails and calls in a timely manner. Rest assured that we are simplifying our Customer Support procedures and hiring more agents so our customers won’t have to wait as long for a response.
As for our policy, indeed, our customers have 14 days from the delivery date to contact us and have their products returned or exchanged. We understand that as of writing here, you are worried that your 14 days would have passed and you will no longer be eligible for either options.
We would like to clarify that our specified timeframe only includes the delivery date up to the date the customer first contacted us regarding their concern. The date of our first response will not be taken into account. Therefore, since you have contacted us within 14 days, you will be eligible for exchanging or refunding your product, regardless of when we respond.

The hoodie was not windproof despite claiming to be and the neck area was very loose, allowing warm air out and the wind to have access. Didn`t keep me warm in the wind.
Because of the claims in the ad. I thought that if the claims were correct that it would be a well designed and effective hoodie. I was wrong.

Despite high winds and cold chilly evenings, I have found that the baerskin is totally windproof and very warm. It is nice not to have wear excessive layers of clothing to ensure warmth.

Hoodie is very warm and comfortable. I do wish zipper was reversed so it would be like all zippers in the US but other than that, the hoodie is just what I wanted.
I am disappointed at the value this hoodie is. A premium priced product should be premium - I have hoodies from mass retailers that are warmer, fit just as well and cost a third of the price.

I had high hopes for this item as the marketing was excellent and highly targeted. First the good: the jacket IS windproof and has light rain shedding capabilities. After that, things start to go downhill! How does a jacket designed for men have the zipper on the wrong side like a women's jacket? This first design lacks the refinements like elastic on the cuffs and the zippered pockets for the most part are too small for anything other than some folding money or a chapstick. If you're going to put pockets on the chest and sleeves get a phone or man's wallet to size them properly.
The jacket had a flaw in and began to unravel on the inside sleeve which was from poor craftsmanship. I'm sure this was a one of, problem but annoying just the same. Service department did replace it but that again was not the easiest to use.
Overall, this COULD be a great item if the distribution were better and you had a chance to try it on before buying. I would probably like to see it in a Cabela's type setting as the sizing is odd.
