They say its the last hoodie you'll ever buy. For that I can say is the truth. I stay in Scotland and believe me it's cold at least 300 days of the year. Baerskin does block out the cold bitter wind and keeps, the warmth tucked up in side the hoodie. U know how much heat is retained when you open it up and feel the heat slowly disappear. Fantastic products which live up to there name and excellent customer service when required to contact them, sadly to say I had too. Not through any fault of the Baerskin tak team, there service was emence. Well worth the money.
I ordered 4 hoodies and after a long wait received only 2. I reached out via email multiple times and was basically told I received my order. I did not. I'm still waiting on 2 hoodies. The last few emails I didn't even get a response and there is no customer service number to call that I can see. It's a shame because I really like the product I ordered.
Ordered the wrong size, but I got the best customer service, which is very important to me. This product is absolutely amazing!

After my purchase which was probably 12 months ago I was concerned that the front zipper was not fitted properly, it was tricky to connect and start and still is to a point but at least i know the knack now.
I did email the company to let them know I was concerned but living in southern part of Australia and winter coming I decided to persist and I am happy to say although still stiff to start the jacket is probably my warmest top that i own and the over sized hood is a bonus.

While I like very much the Baerskin hoodies that I purchased, I am a short man and I purchased the smallest hoodie size you had available. But it is still too long for my body! I would have liked it better if you offered it in a short size as I like clothes to fit!

I work for Servpro, and occasionally have to go onsite for emergencies, which can bring cold weather into the situation. I needed a jacket to with a hood that was large enough to cover, have more than average amount of pockets, and large hood incase windy and cold.

I ordered a jacket that was too big for me, thus I called customer service to inquire about a return/exchange. The company simply sent me a smaller one and let me keep the other one. The transaction took about 1 week.

Saw this in an ad very I was skeptical but ordered it anyway came in a good amount of time and when I got it, I opened it up and thought wow this is really a nice hoodie. Love the amount of pockets on it. I bought this as a gift and the recipient loves this thing. Where is it all the time and it's just the right amount to keep him warm. It's not over bearing things like that but he loves it and it's very well-made and for the price it was a great buy. I would highly recommend getting one if you choose.

I never did receive a email with a tracking number just had to wait for it to show up. Also I had to contact you to verify if you had received my order. A confirmation email confirming your order would be good.

But after all the bad reviews im glad i didn't order. This company needs to fix all major issue if they want to stay in business. A good product ( if it is)

Like the jacket. Probably gonna get another one. Only thing I wasn't fond of was that the zipper was put on backwards or however women wear their stuff. Not a deal breaker, I'm not sure how they do things in China, where it was made and shipped from.
If you're in a hurry to get one or want to talk to someone about the delay in shipping, forget it. Everything is in China. Order it and wait. About the time you forget about it, it'll show up at your joint. HOPEFULLY!

As for the zipper, it was indeed placed in the left side in our previous version. This is because our product was designed in Europe, where zippers are usually positioned that way. Put the fleece on,tightened the hoody around my face and the tie string broke,haven't been able to repair or replace, disappointed, was really hoping the materials were tougher than what I've experienced.
No answer or solution till today,I've now given up trying.

Look like a good product but seamed average not worth $100
Every tag an invoice said xl but when I opened the bag it was a large an couldn't get pics to send at site to get it returned then seen where I could of bought on Amazon for $35.00

The hoodie is excellent for mountain bike riding, thou can be a little warm after a long ride. It has lots or zippers which can open both ways, top or bottom is ideal for bike riding.
In wet conditions the rain just runs off and is good for walking.
I had one before and thou the phone pocket was a little smaller was the only problem. The new style has fixed all this and is much thicker and warmer on those bitterly cold windy days. Just loving it, you are secure if it starts to rain or windy conditions catches you out, will keep you dry and warm, for sure.

The advertising suggested wind and water proof - thats probably a bit optimistic. - with that its not as useful as hoped while on boats. But its nice and warm to sit around in for the evenings - so ok - not as advertised tho.

Sizing is over sized, might not wish to order normal size. Zipper is backwards, perhaps this is just an European style. Shipping is not well handled. They lost my order, weeks went by not followed up at all.
Found it difficult to reach customer service to reship. After I did reach someone the Hoodie arrived within 2 weeks.
Very difficult to reach customer service, took me over two weeks to speak with someone.
They did fix the shipping lost and product arrived in two weeks then.

When it comes to the positioning of the zipper on our older model of Baerskin Hoodie which you received, we can confirm that this was, in fact, an intended feature of our product. This particularity occurred simply because our hoodie was designed in Europe. The positioning of the zipper on the left side is a marker of all European men's clothing designs.
Please rest assured that this feature is neither a manufacturing defect nor an indication of the fact that the hoodie had been created for a specific gender group. We have recently released a separate version of the hoodie for women, but the placement of the zipper in this version is the same due to the reason stated previously. We apologize for the confusion.

Since buying this hoodie I find that it's the only top I wear when I go out. I live in the highlands of Scotland, it's not always warm & sunny. But my Bearskin Hoodie can keep me toastie even when I'm only wearing a T-shirt underneath. It can even deal with slight rain showers with no seepage though.
I saw the advert and thought I’d give it a go. You where making some pretty strong claims, I’m glad to say, your product stands by your claims.
Tactical is the wrong choice for this item. It is a jacket with a hood. Their is nothing tactical about it. A hooded jacket with lots of pockets made of fleece. End of story. That being said, it is a great jacket. Thanks...P.S. Don't try to spice up your products with fancy nonsensical words ultimately meaning hooded jacket. It is a great jacket. No need for fancy B.S.

My husband wanted the vest and tactical hoodie. Although the hoodie took much longer to arrive (I had to cancel and reorder hoodie) and I ended up paying an extra $10 for it, they have become his go to when he goes outside. Well thought out and well made.

Love my new hoodie! It came just in time for hunting season and I used it as a middle layer. It kept me warm during the cold sits in the blind. All the pockets were handy too! Quality build - you won't regret getting one!
It's a warm police sweatshirt The only gripe I have is the pockets in the back you can't get access to them readily and it's like what's the point you can't put anything back there... The hood is okay but you didn't put any ties around so you could bring it around your neck and adjust it it would have been better if that was detachable by a Velcro that you had an option of putting it on or not

I recently purchased a sleeveless hoodie, size 2XL, which fits me perfectly...I'm very pleased with it. Note, however, that the previous version of hoodie - maybe the original? - had a much tighter fit. The 2XL I bought at that time is not really big enough. I kept it, hoping I would "grow in to it." I recommend checking the size guide before ordering.

My hoodie arrived with the BearSkin tag upside down. I just cut off the tag, but mentioned it in the review. Customer service contacted me and I was sent another new hoodie. They clearly stand by the product. I will say to wear it on colder days. It really keeps you warm and can too warm when the temperature goes up.
