They sell items that are "in stock", but then they make you wait 2 months to get the products. Then, they don't deliver it, and expect you to pay them for absolutely nothing.

Steer clear.

I apologize that we didn't provide a satisfactory service here. I cannot provide information on your specific order without a full name or order # to look it up, but I can provide some insight on our stock and backorder process.

All of our products are marked as either "In Stock", "Only # Left In Stock", or an estimated shipping date is provided when a product is not currently in stock but is on order. That estimated shipping date is based on information provided by the manufacturers. If you order a product that wasn't in stock, we follow up the same or next day with an email alerting you that your order contains a backordered product, and you can cancel or modify your order if you decide you no longer want the product.

If you ordered an in stock item that you were then notified was backordered, either another customer placed an order right before yours, or there may have been a glitch in our inventory system. Both of these are admittedly quite rare as our on-site inventory is constantly updated without much delay, but are possible depending on how long the checkout process takes.

We do sincerely apologize for any issues or miscommunications with our stock, and our customer service team is available to answer any more questions.

Bad Customer service

I bought an S & W LED Flashlight that would not work right out of the box they expect me to pay shipping back to them on something that was made July of 2107 that they sold me I called S& W they sent me a new flash lite

Bought a light bulb did not work they said sorry. Pay for shipping send it back. Bulb did not function and i was the one to pay the price of shipping. Bad company.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Do not do business with this company! They sent me the WRONG product... I sent them an email and asked for an exchange for the product I ordered. I did not receive a response. I called and got a VERY RUDE woman on the phone who told me that even though it was Battery Junction's error... they would not send me a prepaid return label. She sent me a RMA number to return the item. When I read the email, not only was I having to pay return shipping, the email said I would be charged a 50% RESTOCKING FEE!

These people are criminals. I threw the item in the garbage and I am out $27.40. A lesson learned... I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING FROM THESE CRIMINALS! You have been warned!

I place the order for batteries on 5/12, they state the item is on backorder and will ship on 5/30. Reminder, this is 1-2 months into COVID shelter in place in many states.

I contact them on 6/25 (4 weeks after it's supposed to show up) and ask status, Battery Junctions states that it'll be in stock on 8/5.

On 8/6, I ask them for status, and they say back in stock on 8/28

On 9/18, I ask them for status, and they say back in stock on 9/21

On 10/11, I ask for status, and they now say, 2-3 weeks.

I asked them to cancel. Honestly, it's been 5 months, they have no clue about your vendors/suppliers and no intention to status me, without me asking. Even a month after they estimated that the vendor would deliver, and they never got it, they never let me know that they never even got it to ship.

This is a company that has no clue what is coming in and how to keep their customers informed as to what is happening. I ordered this fully at least a month (in California 2 months) into the COVID situation, and now 5 months later, they just use that crutch to excuse their lack of understanding on when they can have any items that are on backorder delivery.

Horrible experience.

We apologize for this incident, and agree that 5+ months is way too long to wait for a backorder. While we do send initial notices for orders with backordered products (and our customer service team can always give an update based on the most recent information), we absolutely hear your complaints that we need to provide regular updates.

When we provide an estimated date of arrival for a backordered product on our site, we base it on the ship date the manufacturer has assured us. While our warehouse is shipping on time due to an excellent crew, COVID still affects the manufacturers and shipping companies we work with and can cause delays. When we're aware of a prolonged wait, our product's listings reflect that information. However in this situation, the manufacturer repeatedly pushed back their production date with short notice. Regardless, we agree that more proactive updates are necessary here, and we assure you that is something we'll be working on.

I've just personally checked the status of the battery in your order, and at the time of writing this we have 29 in stock. Whether with us or another store, we hope you're able to find the batteries you need, and sincerely apologize that we couldn't meet the standards we aim for here.

Nightcore P12

After over a month waiting for the correct flashlight due to someone putting the wrong one in the box. I was treated like this was my fault and one of the worst customer service experience I have ever had! This review is on the flashlight. The nightcore P12 has preformed very well. The battery life is really good and the light is very bright. Some flashlights are bright but the color is not useful. That is not the case with this light. I work in the food industry saw water has killed most flashlights we have tried. This one is holding up good after two months. The aluminum body of the flashlight is fairly thin so I don't know how much abuse it will take long term. The other flashlight we are using is twice the size, only 600 lumens, and the battery life is a lot lower. It also cost twice as much. That makes this flashlight a bargain so far.The nightcore ******* battery is the way to go. I have yellow nl186 battery. My review would have been five stars if the customer service experience would have been better. Nightcore 5* battery juncton customer service 3*

I've bought from Battery Junction several times before and everything was okay. But I had a flashlight go bad that I had purchased from them, and I called their customer service and spoke to a Lady that went by Sam. I described the problem with the light and she told me to send it back to them as it was under warranty. I questioned her about shipping charges, and she told me that I would have to pay to ship it back to them and they would cover the return shipping charges. I sent it off as instructed with a detailed description of the problem with the light and a recap of the conversion with Sam about shipping charges. Then I got an email saying that I needed to pay the return shipping charges, so I called and talked with a different customer service rep and she told me everyone there knew that they did not pay return shipping charges so I needed to pay the return shipping charge. There was another flashlight that I was interested in purchasing, so I asked her if I bought the flashlight could they add my repaired flashlight to the shipment. She was somewhat curt and told me that they did not combine shipments. The return shipping charges certainly aren't going to break me, it is the fact that they lied and wouldn't do anything about it. So, to recap, they lied to me over the phone about the return shipping and when confronted about it, they didn't care and required me to pay up to get my flashlight back. And they didn't even care that I would have bought another flashlight from them if they could put my repair in the new purchase shipment. They have lost a customer for good, and as I told them on the phone, I will lambast them because of their lie and their attitude about it on every social media site that I can find.

I want to apologize for the issues here. I've spoken to our customer service department, and we'd like to send you the missing keychain light. I do ask that you please contact us via phone, email, or live chat to confirm your last name and address so we can ship that out.

I've also forwarded your experience with our stock availability to our IT team, as we think this was likely a glitch or machine error. Our site automatically updates a product's available stock, and will alert you when inventory is low or on backorder (as well as an expected restock date). If you have JavaScript disabled in your browser, that can have an effect on this. Regardless, we assure you that this was not a bait and switch or intentional omission, and we are actively looking into it.

Great Klarus K1 charger. Shipping is painfully slow. Item was in stock and it still took 2 weeks. Ugh.

Hi Dave, thank you for sharing feedback about your recent order. We agree that shipping sometimes sucks, which is why we offer multiple shipping methods from UPS, USPS, and DHL. Sometimes factors like backordered items, inclement weather, and orders including lithium (shipping regulations) can significantly delay an order, which we typically try to communicate via email. Postal offices and local warehouses are also often backed up during the holiday season, and can take days to ship an order the final leg of its journey. I don't have enough information here to look up your order, but our customer service team is always available Mon through Fri, 9-5 EST to look up your order and locate its tracking information.
