Recently I filed a complaint against Cheapoair.com with NYC BBB. After the company responded and I refused, and the company responded again and I refused again, BBB closed the complaint with the following observation:
"The business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer either (a) did not accept the response, OR (b) did not notify BBB as to their satisfaction."
So, the BBB acted as judge, jury, and executioner to decide that (A) the company had responded to my issues, and (B) the consumer was at fault for not accepting the company response.
If they wanted to be fair, unbiased, and neutral, this is what they should have said:
"The consumer and business exchanged their positions and issues but couldn't reach an agreement. The consumer is dissatisfied with the business response".
A completely useless and biased organization that is a protector of companies, not of consumers.
In my recent dealings with the Better Business Bureau my case was closed citing the either or statement. BBB has not heard back from the consumer as to their satisfaction with the business's response, or the business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer remains dissatisfied. There is nor "or" I responded on August 4,2016 and received nothing from the BBB or the company in question other than the announcement of closure on August, 10,2016. The company failed to respond. The BBB now refuses to amend this document to reflect accurately the situation as if adding "or" makes claims about my lack of response anymore truthful. Impartiality does not give one the right to use falsehoods because they feel the word "or" infers a may or may not be true scenario. The picture below shows I indeed responded making the statement: BBB has not heard back from the consumer as to their satisfaction with the business's response... false. As such this statement should be removed from the document and the document should accurately reflect that the company in question chose not to respond. The only correct way for the statement to read is as follows: "BBB has not heard back from the business as to their satisfaction with the consumer's response, or the business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer remains dissatisfied."
I think is worthless the company that took my money on a scam just simply closed the case did not resolve anything so what's really the point of bbb reviews that's it
The BBB does a fantastic job in helping consumers.
If for some reason they can't assist with an issue they always follow up and will refer you to the appropriate entity.
Young Guns are very professional, top notch pricing and workmanship. Was very impressed with the efficiency of work and left the job site clean. I highly recommend this company.
Why would anyone trust them?
They try to get money to erase complaints and give a good grade.
If you don't pay, you get a lower grade.
They ripoff business and mislead consumers.
DO NOT TRUST THE BBB.
Ever go to BBB to file a complaint only to find they wont take it? You try to upload a file and you get this: 413 Request Entity Too Large
Nginx/1. 18. 0 (Ubuntu)?
Yah, I did. Supposed to allow pdf up to 5 mbps. My police report was 1.4mb pdf format and this was what I got.
I have researched many companies with the BBB. I see companies on their site with thousands of unresolved complaints that are rated B+ instead of F. Which means their reviews are unreliable and therefore USELESS.
The bbb is a joke! Anyone can go to google and type: BBB 20 20
You'll see the undercover investigation by ABC News showing how the outfit is running!
IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT IS A MEMBER OF THE BBB, RUN LIKE HELL!
Watch the investigation, the bbb's system takes money from many bad businesses and makes them look good FOR MONEY!
Good honest businesses don't need the better business bureau, think about it and watch the news video on google!
I bought a Samsung refrigerator less than 2 years ago and I am very dissatisfied with the fridge and with Samsung company and Home Depot One month after I bought fridge the bin for the ice maker cracked and ice went all over shelves. Contacted Samsung and they sent a new one but six months later the same thing happened. Now all the food in the fridge is frozen solid. I called Samsung for 9 days and was told they could not find a service man in my area to come to look at it. All I got was a ticket number and 9 different people to say the same thing. I also called a home depot within 30 miles to ask if they knew where to get a service person and I was told because I did not have an extended warranty their was nothing they could do. I would never recommend a Samsung product to anyone ever. Samsung has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Not only was I calling for 9 days but I spent hours on hold and spoke to 9 different people with the same answer. I have lost hundreds of dollars of food and still noone has solved the problem.
