Has to be one of the worst stores for shipping I have ever encountered in my life. I have now been thoroughly disappointed in your shipping twice. I even paid $24.99 for your two day shipping which has now been over a week and still don't have what I ordered. I could have drove to these stores within an hour or two hours from my house and got my items before you all even pulled it to even ship! This is the last time I use your shipping or pay for your two day shipping. HORRIBLE BUSINESS!
Their credit card gives you Belk Bucks to spend, but the selection of items you can "buy" with these lists are usually out of stock and the housewares are cheap imported products that fall apart or lose their shape in the dishwasher. If you order online and return items that don't fit in the local Florence, SC and Hartsville, SC stores, they treat you like you're an anomaly or weirdo. No way can this company stay in business with an outdated business model which they refuse to change with modern contemporary society.
Never order from belk. Com. Store is fine belk. Com is awful terrible customer service. They will steal your money and hold it for weeks. Terrible experience
I purchased two rings from Belk online. I ordered these rings knowing they would need to be sized, so I took them to a long time jeweler in the area and had them sized and soldered together. I informed him the diamonds were real based on the description on their web page. Many of the diamonds turned blue during the process. He stated this only happens if the stones are treated/enhanced stones or lab grown. I had not informed him to take precautions as nothing in the description mentioned either of these things.
They have now been sized and soldered together,which cost me an additional $160 to add the additional gold. I spent a lot of money on these rings and am very disappointed and confused how this could have happened since I purchased from a department store.
Next issue is when I showed him the ads to prove it stated they were real diamonds, he pointed out based on the photos shown on online page, and the rings I was sent, there were subtle differences he noticed right away that I wouldn't have picked up. I did not get legitimate merchandise, I received inferior products.
The stones that turned blue are not even suppose to be in the ring, black prongs holding the chocolate diamonds are suppose to be there, the black prongs are not present in either ring but clearly shown in the online ad. This is fraud! The subtle differences were not obvious to me but once I showed the jeweler the original ads he spotted the differences right away. Once it was pointed out it was painfully obvious I did not receive legitimate Le avian rings or what was shown online when I made the order.
I wasted an additional $160 having the rings sized up and soldered together before learning they were fake imitations. This explains why they don't ship in Le Vian boxes like everyone else who sells Le vian jewelers does. However I have never purchased jewelry before so I had no idea I was being scammed.
Now I am waiting to see if they will allow me to return the items for a full refund of the original payment even though they were altered considering I assumed I was being sent and sold legitimate rings or I would never have purchased or altered them.

Bought a pearl necklace from Belk with an expiring gift card and had to return it. Belk did not inform me of the refund until after the card had expired. Bank card holder had zeroed out the balance and would not issue a refund; Belk refused to issue a requested store credit as compensation. I am out of $70 and have no merchandise to show for it. BEWARE--Belk has very stringent refund policies!

Ordered some clothes for my grandaughter and they were too big so I returned them and ordered smaller sizes. Got everything but a cute white dress with lavender flowers. They sent a not so cute outfit that was on clearance with an actual Easter Bunny on shirt in place even though the order form that came with it has the correct number of the cute dress. Verified it with return dept. I sent all the outfits to my grandaughter and reordered the dress again and had it go directly to my grandaughter's address. Belk again sent the easter bunny shirt and pants. So now baby has 2 Easter Bunny tops and pants for the summer months and no cute dress. Return dept said there is nothing I can do as they already let me return 12 mo size and I was supposed to receive 6-9 month size dress which I never received. What a rip off! I will never order from Belk again.
I tried for 4 days to place a large order. When I tried to push "place order", it would say "address not recognized". This is 2023 folks. People move around all the time. I spoke to a really wicked (in a bad way) "customer service rep' she wanted me to go back into my cart, click on the item, write it down...and call her to see if the item was available. On their site it indicated many items were in stock. I told her it would take 2 hours to find the info! Why can't SHE go into Google? Why not? I bet they did not have half the stuff advertised on site. This company needs to just shut it's doors.
Tried contacting Belk five times for a return mailing label -- never received a response. Tried calling and only received an automated message. Tried sending the merchandise to the warehouse and received it back marked 'return to sender.' Horrendous customer service experience.

I received a marketing promotion in the mail from them stating that if I used my elite Mastercard anywhere during the month of December that I would get 5 points per dollar. So I used it to pay off my cruise. Now they are saying I had to use it in the store. BS. I'm done with Belk. I would have used one of my other cards to pay off the cruise that had a better per motion had I know Belk was full of S"@$
Bought a necklace for $200 roughly, top designer, and it came knotted together & loose, moving around during shipping, in a box bigger box. I don't believe it's authentic either. I contacted them & had to open a case. Nobody has called me back. I absolutely will either return this item or dispute it with the bank. Terrible service. Beware...
On 6/24/2022 Belk had a one day clearance sale. I purchased 30 king size blankets because they were advertised at $2.94 each. Only specific colors were the drastically reduced price. Of course, the next day, they were back at the normal clearance price.
After never receiving my order, I called customer service to find out the items were no longer in stock. The call dropped so I called back to find out from another associate that the price was incorrect so they cancelled the order.
I found a great deal on weighted blankets on another and ordered 10 blankets but only received 4. They can't tell me what is happening with the other 6 blankets. I believe those 15 lb blankets were $18.00 each.
Who is making these on line pricing mistakes? Why should I accept a 15 percent discount for my troubles?

The quality of the Calvin Klein boxer briefs was poor. They seem to be "knock offs" After washing them, they started to unravel and had small holes, before being worn. Customer service refused to help me or offer any sort of refund.
Item still has not arrived. I have not been able to reach any customer service representative by phone to discuss. Via email I asked for refund and was told I need to wait longer. Very unhappy. Will never recommend or use again.
I had never heard of Belk until a week before placing my first order on May 3,2020. It is now May 16. My order still shows 'pending' on the website, even though on the first page it shows 'complete.' I never received confirmation of my order even though the money immediately came out of my account. I sent three messages via the website and no one has responded. I tried calling twice but each time the hold would have been over an hour. After holding for 40 minutes the second time I hung up. Now I have to go to my bank and dispute the charge. How is this company allowed to continue?
Ordered a 3 carat total weight diamond bridal set (UC **************) Order cost $2702.95. On 11/22/23, FedEx called us and said they were delivering an empty package to our home. Belk had shipped this ring in a white padded bag as opposed to a box. The bag had gotten stuck in a piece of machinery, we still have the bag, and FedEx claims the contents was lost between Memphis and Pittsburgh. All of this was explained to Belk, but they still refuse to issue a refund or provide a replacement shipment of the ring. Every Belk representative says the dollar amount is above their authority and that it would have to go to "corporate" for a decision. I have called Belk every day since 11/23/23. This is horrific customer service. The only mistake we made was purchasing this ring from Belk. Belk's issue is with FedEx not with us as the customer but is punishing us as it appears they don't want to provide a replacement or refund. Per FedEx - Belk has even filed not one, but two claims with FedEx, and still refuses to provide a re-shipment of the ring or a refund to us.
Save yourself the headache. If I could give Belk's online sales a 0 I would. The worst online service I have ever experienced! I ordered a Michael Kors handbag and on 5/19. I received a used handbag, which I promptly returned that day. Reasons: the leather handles were visibly damaged/peeling, (2) all the bottom tacks were scratched, (3) it was shipped in a box without any protection, e.g. bubble wrap or paper packed in the box for shipping protection; nope, just stuffed in a plastic Belk's bag, and there was no paper inside the bag to help retain its shape, just a flat handbag, and (4) none of the hardware was covered for protection.
I called customer service and was placed on hold forever, only to be transferred to someone else. I am still waiting for the $15.80 reimbursement cost I paid to return the bag.
I can hardly even walk into a Belk anymore. What's happened to these stores is Literally heartbreaking. There's no pride in how the stores look. There are "this register closed" signs everywhere, very few employees seen anywhere. Once a proud, family-friendly chain... so many amazing memories... is now just a shell of itself. Such a shame. Guess that's what buyouts and greed do to old time values and heritage
Bought a perfume from them. Received an email saying it was shipped, and 17 days later it was still not delivered. The tracking number sent was invalid. When contacted them they said: oh, it is sent from a marketplace, go talk to them. Sorry there is nothing we can do. Stay away and save your money.
I can't believe how horrible this company is to work with! I ordered men's shoes and I did receive them. However it turns out they were actually women's shoes. Nowhere on the description is this stated, so obviously they were too small. I have called customer service 10+ times, on hold for over an hour each time. Every rep tells a different story on their return policy, but all said they were sending me a return shipping label. I never received one. This company is horrible. I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. I am now going to give the shoes away, as I can see by reading the reviews that I will get nowhere with any returns to this company. I would never order from them again.
