We have been huge fans of Shari's Berries. We ordered them for our anniversary. They arrived with the package icepack completed defrosted. I have to wonder if it was just for 'show'. The strawberries were mush inside. They have no flavor. The chocolate part was good, but the delivery and strawberries were not. For $70 including shipping, I expect WOWZA! This was awful. I will not order again, and I will not refer anyone either.

We ordered Shari's Berries about three weeks before Easter, with a delivery Tuesday before Good Friday, The berries didn't arrive until Friday and they were spoiled and not
Edible. They said they would replace them by Tuesday and now they are out in transit but will not be there until Thursday. This was an Easter gift. And, since they are to arrive nearly 6 days after they shipped, this perishable product will again not be how they should be.

The berries look like they were kiked across the room and then packed and kicked again. Soggy gross and unedible. They replaced it with a box that looked worse. Don't waste you money. Wish I could post a picture. It's worse then I can described. But I think I did a good job.

I decided to order Shari's Berries for the 1st time for my daughter's 30th birthday. Big mistake should have went with Edible Arrangements instead since they are a more reliable company. Shari's Berries canceled my order and did not notify me of such - I only found out when I called to see where the order was for my daughter's 30th birthday. So Shari's Berries ruined a very special birthday. To show how incompetent Shari's Berries is - I received an order confirmation by e-mail while I am on the phone and they are telling me my order had been cancelled days before.

First they over charged me for shipping. Apparently they don't realize that standard shipping doesn't usually mean a hidden fee of 16 dollars. On top of that they charged me a weird RURAL area shipping fee that I've never seen in my entire life. Finally the berries showed up looking like tiny chocolate covered cherries. Looks NOTHING like the wonderful pictures on their site. TOTAL RIP OFF!

I bought a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my daughters 21st birthday, Valentine's Day. I paid extra for Vday delivery. Not only did the tracking show a delay, it showed they were scheduled to arrive on the 18th. This is far too long in transit, Feb 12-18. I've emailed many times and been asked for the same information over and over. I was initially offered my shipping cost refunded and a discount on a future order. This box will be rotten by the time it arrives. I don't want to pay for one penny of it. Customer service was clearly in another country, speaking incredibly difficult to understand English. I would give a zero rating if I could. DO NOT ORDER FROM SHARI'S BERRIES!

I placed a get well order today, and after the order was confirmed, all these charges were tagged on AFTER I placed the order, making it more than double the price. I called & asked to speak with a supervisor. There was no supervisor! The salesperson on the phone said they canceled my order and could not provide me with a confirmation or reference number. They said to refer to my order number. I did, and guess what? The order is not canceled! What kind of scam are they running here? Ugh. What a headache! Now I have to call my credit card company to dispute. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! Never again!

They delivered my package to the wrong address the first time. I had to call FedEx and do all the leg work to make sure my gift was delivered that day! It was Christmas time, if I wouldn't have made some calls, the delivery would've never happened! I thought, ok, I'll try them one more time... just made an order for Father's Day... once again, I had to call fedex & track the order down! It was Friday, again, and the local post office closes at 11:30am... they knew this, but still had no idea where my package was at noon! Luckily, FedEx worked with me & I got the package for my hubby, from our kids! Shari's Berrie's was not helpful either time! Sad you pay that kind of money, and YOU have to be the one to do the leg work when they screw up!

Even more frustrating than a very mediocre product is that right after I made a purchase, my email address was in the hands of spammers from all over the world. Within a few days following my order, I received over 500 emails, in many languages. I had not provided my email address to any other entity in the many days before or after the spamming occurred. I have been unsubscribing from hundreds of lists, and to this day, several months later, I am still receiving tens and tens of spam emails. A few days after the order, I contacted Shari's Berries to let them know of the problem and that they might have a rogue employee making money on the side. They seemed unsurprised and aware of the problem, but completely disinterested. Buying from these guys has been an ongoing train wreck. I highly recommend avoiding them and for sure, don't give them an email address.

I ordered from Sherries Berries for my mother-in-law's 93rd birthday. Very expensive for what you got. Added cost of handling fees, service charge and tax make it ridiculous. I used a Groupon to lower the cost. The berrries were not delivered until 3 days after her birthday! The company will only refund cost of berrries, NOT service charge or handling fees or Groupon cost. Groupon says to order again to use groupon. NEVER! Money lost, lesson learned.

I order flowers and strawberries for my step mom and mother inlaw, 119.00 and 78.81. When i ordered the price was different than what i was charged. The strawberries were melted tasted terrible i was told and the flowers looked over heated and wilted. Last time i ever oder again!

I ordered an organic fruit basket for Mother's Day. It should have had my card and a pink Mother's Day ribbon which were both additional charges. The 69 $99 item turned out to be $95 when they added 1799 for delivery and 499 extra for Saturday. The extra delivery costs were NO WHERE in the final tally once I hit SUBMIT on order! I didn't see until it hit my bank account. I will NEVER order from them again!

Ordered for Valentine's Day. Berries DID NOT look anything like the ones one the website. Horrible. They were tiny, and it looked like they weren't given time to harden before they were put in the box. The chocolate was hanging off the berries, awful design work. One of the deliveries was on hold. When I called to inquire, I spoke to someone who worked at a call center - NOT Shari Berries' business office. She was unable to help contact UPS about my shipment. I was told I needed to do that. Horrible customer service! I was told they could resend a package on Thursday, but I would be charged for the order. After I complained, she said she could refund my money. I said yes and will NEVER use them again. The website is false advertising. DON'T waste your money! The dipped berries at my local grocer were prettier and bigger and alot less!

I ordered my berries in July to be delivered on July 31st. They did not get sent the next day, so they arrived a week later after a very hot summer. They arrived as strawberry/chocolate goo... I called Sharie's Berries and they issued me a refund on August 8th 2021. I waited for two weeks, called again and they said that it would take 30 days to process. Called back on Sept 8th and 1800flowers said, it takes 30-40 BUSINESS days. It's now Sept 21st and still no refund. I've been ordering from them for years and since 1800 flowers took over, the quality has gone way down. I've disputed this with Paypal and in 4 days will dispute it with my credit card company. DO NOT ORDER FROM 1800Flowers. Their Smile Guarantee is absolutely false.
Tip for consumers:
1. Know that the 1800 flowers(Shari's Berries) shipping and refund policies are dishonest.
2. Shari's Berries will ship your berries ground, not by air as they promise. They don't have local berry dippers that deliver local anymore since going to 1800flowers.
3. 1800flowers will not refund your money in any timely manner
4. Berries ship as semi-green and ripen over the week long delivery(hope its cold in the trucks, or you will get chocolate goo)
5. 1800flowe will not guarantee qual

Ordered these cute Halloween strawberries for $72 and they came MELTED & look nothing like the website picture. For $72 for some strawberries I was expecting HIGH quality strawberries. I have included the website picture with what I actually received. They offered me a 50% discount or a reorder but I took the 50% discount that is supposed to be in my bank in 7 days.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t buy the expensive ones just go with the cheap easy design ones. When I got the easy design ones they were fine

I tried to place my order on Thursday 5/5 in the afternoon but had to return later in the day to complete my order it the price went up from39.98 to 47.00 I was very disappointed but had to choice but to complete my order. But then the shipping went up as well then I find out that when they were delivered they were left at s mailbox and never taken to the front door. So I feel I over paid for my order to begin with then I paid way to much for delivery that was left at a mail box for the chocolate on the strawberries to melt. Very disappointed and I don't think I will place any additional orders in the future

The berries, 12, were a birthdsy gift for a friend. I. figured less calories than a birthday cake. She loved them. They were nicely packaged - she sent me a picture. I would highly recommend them as a gift for any occasion.

I ordered 2 dozen dipped strawberries for my girlfriend on Feb 6th 2019... I paid the extra shipping charge for guaranteed delivery on Valentine's day and an additional extra shipping charge for morning delivery. These were important as I wanted to surprise my girlfriend at work. Around 11am I checked my order status and my order had now been moved to Feburary 15th and UPS no longer had my tracking number in their system. I called the contact number for Shari's berries and waited for 38 minutes before i could speak to someone. The only good experience so far was the customer service rep. Didn't try to BS me, she immediately recognized the problem and offered a full refund on my order in addition to fulfilling my order on a later date for free. This was nice but now I have no surprise for my girlfriend this Valentine's day. I would not recommend them for any special occasion as they are unreliable and don't waste your money on "guaranteed" delivery.

I cant even give 1 for rating! I ordered a cake for my friend and when it was delivered it doesnt even look like a cake! It is supposed to be a birthday surprise and it was ruined. The packaging is just a round cardboard and a plastic covering the whole cake. Seriously?! And you expect it to be delivered nicely when you cant even put in a simple cake box. DO NOT ORDER HERE!
And they dont give you a refund! They will just offer you replacement of the item even if you dont like it. Dont trust them!

I received a box of 12 strawberries as a Mothers Day present. When I opened the box, the ice pack was mostly melted. Something sticky had droipped all over inside the gift box. I know what it was, the strawberries were frozen and had been defrosting. When I bit into one it was mushy and somewhat "winey" like it had been defrosting a while. They definitely did not start out as fresh berries. Chocolate coating was cheap quality and could only wonder what the white ones were dipped into since it didn't taste like a quality white chocolate. Also, strawberries were not consistent in size. Very disappointed and will never recommend this product.

Price is acceptable for the berries $20 for 6. They did arrive on time and they we good. However the double secret hidden shipping charge is rotten. It is very similar to the people on ebay. They sell the item at a cheap price then kill you on the shipping. I paid more for the shipping then I did the product. It wasn't like I had it over knighted or anything. You may be asking yourself "Well why the hell did you pay for it if you didn't like the cost?" Easy Answer is I'm stupid. The way it was worded, I thought shipping was only $4.95 for standard shipping. What it was saying was it was $4.95 extra onto their already high standard shipping. I didn't realize it until I already paid for it.

I had a $10 gift card from Groupon. Only stipulation was order had to be minimum of $30 bucks. Shari Berries had a deal of 10 dipped cherries and a dozen strawberries for $30 bucks and then I would have to pay shipping which was $14.99. Well I tried to order 2 of the groupons for myself and two other as gifts. But Shari Berries made a stipulation that Groupon gift cards could not be used towards a purchase for their Groupon. Too bad for them. They just lost the other $110 from the order cause they wouldn't accept my $10 GIFT CARD from Groupon. And lost out on the extra shipping cost too cause I know they get a small profit off that too. So Harry and David or Edible Arrangements will be getting the orders. And moving forward will be getting ALL my future orders.
