I've been super lucky and found some great deals on open box items via the website. Got my son a pretty spectacular gaming laptop for Christmas at around 60% off the regular price.
Overall, Best Buy is a complete joke. I've complained to the Better Business Bureau about this company. They are complete rip off. I can't wait until Amazon buys them out and they shut down. They literally stole a package and refused to give me my money back. I found the police report, and they never refunded me for the amount. Then for complaining, they placed me on a no online order or store delivery order List as if I would purchase from them again.
I love coming to this store. I am a tech buff. I love technology. If it makes life simpler, I love it. What I like the most of best buy is the fact that they always have refurbished items at very low competitive prices. I usually come here to buy tablets, laptops, and PCs. Mostly electronics. And whats important is that they all come with warranties. So you are in a way covered. If you are looking to purchase refurbished goods and decent prices. I think this might be the right place :)

I brought a laptop computer through Best buy marketplace. But it is defective. I took it back to bestbuy, try to get my refund. What they said market is not belong to best but. You have to contact the seller yourself.it took me 3 week still no refund. But as I look at my online payment, the money is charged buy best buy using PayPal. Why they don't serve my return.My trust to best buy all this year's, now is gone. Anyone buy online from them make sure is not from market place merchant. Just went to Best Buy to replace the laptop power adapter I lost during a move as I needed it quickly. The guy who "helped" me was unbelievably arrogant, and on the verge of being rude. I was professionally dressed, and I am a pleasant, calm person. His arrogance almost made me leave the store.
Also, Best Buy prices are outrageous! I could have replaced the adapter on line for about $10, but Mr. Arrogant said the only one they had that would work for me was over $55.oo. Since I needed it quickly, I got it, but then when I got it home it didn't work.
I will never go here again. Horrible customer service and prices!
I used best buy for all of my electronic purchases because I know that I will be helped by a knowledgeable and friendly associate. Yes and get cheaper prices at at your warehouse stores but there's cheaper prices come with a lack of support and questions being answered by people for a well trained and well versed in today's technology.
I had an issue with a security camera system return and the manager "Justin" stepped in after explaining our situation. Justin was very sympathetic and helpful and insured we remained loyal customers of Best Buy. He stopped what he was doing and took care of everything. He's a true ambassador for Best Buy. Customer Service was 5-stars and we couldn't of been more pleased with the outcome. It's nice that a company values the consumer.

As I'm writing this, my fiance has been on the phone with Best Buy support for over 5 1/2 hours.
We placed nearly a $4,000 order with Best Buy for new appliances over a month ago, including a refrigerator and a rangehood for our kitchen. To date, our installation and delivery has been cancelled three times.
The excuses and information we've received via text, email, and phone from varying members of the company changes drastically from one moment to the next.
At this point, all we want to do is cancel our order, but we've been told that it is still marked as being in transit and no one in the ENTIRE company has the authority to override this, which seems like a pretty big flaw in their system... and a completely unviable way for a business to operate.

I had chosen to auto-issue rewards certificates in $20 increment. Best-buy issued a certificate worth of $100 for my rewards (I was expecting 5 of $20 certificate) and now I want to buy items for smaller amounts (like $20 cable) for which I cannot use this certificate. Best buy representatives told me that there is nothing they can do to help customer. It's the worst service I have received from any retail store. I will just go and return items to best buy (so I don't have deal with this worst rewards system) and will never shop again at Best buy because at other retailers, I can use the reward points the way I want to and Best Buy simply cannot do that. Horrible service by Best Buy...

I did not let me access my statement history online => Make me not aware that I am paying too much for the interest. Then, to get all of my statements, I have to wait for 10 business for the statement to come through the mail. What an efficient company!
When I call them => they were unable to pull my account since their system was down. A company that sells products relating to computer, operation system telling me that their system is down => How ridiculous and unprofessional they are?

Our non-profit had an account with Best Buy. One day myself and the board secretary went into a store to buy about $600 worth of merchandise and they would not take a check from us. No, we don't have any problems with finances or bounced checks. They reasoned that since we don't write a lot of checks we were going to bounce one on them. To HELL with Best Buy. Our organization and I individually will NEVER, EVER set foot in another store or look at their website. If they were on fire I would not spit on them.
I am glad there are still places we can go to and see the TV we are picking. I would recommend we all get our TV from them so they will never close. I know the price is a bit better online - but they price match now too.
Everytime I buy something from Bestbuy i regret it. Its not the worst store at all, but their prices are meh and they don't usually have the products I want in stock. I usually buy just for convenience sake and regret it later. Oh well. They have really good returns policy I'll say.
Best Buy is not a go-to place for me anymore. There is not a good selection of electronics or games or movies. I like that they sometimes try to price-match other sellers, but there is better selection on-line. Plus, their monster-cables are a total rip-off.
Buying an appliance. It is great to be at a store for a major purchase and the people were not just polite, but a Nice Polite and they are well educated on the products they sell and surprisingly aware of what their competitors are selling.
Purchased a dishwasher from bestbuy.com. Delivery was scheduled 10 days out. On delivery checked the website and it originally said order was being prepared. 1 hour later it said order needs to be rescheduled Called customer service, spoke to 9 different people none of whom knew why the order needed to be rescheduled. Finally asked to cancel the order and get a full refund. That only took 5 different people to talk to. Very frustrating and very difficult to deal with people who are clueless.
I like how Best Buy has lots of product in the store. You need something, you go there, they have it. Plus lots of choice in product and price range, and decent service with easy returns the rare times it was necessary to do so.

Even they offer price match during the return period, they will do whatever they want not to match even a dollar for your purchase. You will not be able to find a customer service e-mail address, or talk with the manager on the phone. Well, I talk with the manager of West Hollywood, CA, and actually he was extremely rude, and unhelpful to me. So, it would be better not to talk with one of those, though. When one see bad businesses, understands why good businesses are really good.
The Best Buy in my area is terrible. Every computer item I purchased from them was at least 3-4 years old and I couldn't get updated drivers for them. Also many of their appliances are also old models. I haven't had one product that I've bought from Best Buy that lasted. It should be called Worst Buy.
Amazing experience today unexpectedly finding a Surface 2 Type Keyboard in stock in a store nearby. I made my purchase online and received a notification that my order was available for pick-up within an hour of placing my order.
I bought a tablet for Christmas for my son. It was guaranteed to be delivered before Christmas but kept being delayed. When I called customer service they didn't care at all and blamed a third party delivery service, even though they had guaranteed it. Horrible.

Why would anyone shop at BestBuy when many other online vendor offer must better price. OH forget about their price match Guarantee, their idea of the price match is take the final sale price of other vendor and then add tax on top of it for a higher final price. Contact their customer service and they will direct you to pages and pages of mumble jumble policy for enjoyment. No wonder why they are losing business to the other vendor.
If there is a way to give Zero star I would have given it to the Best Buy store located at the Leesburg Pike, Vienna, Virginia. The store has the worst customer service, with no intention to make customers happy or even do the least as their daily jobs. The excuse from the store manager for making me wait for 25 minutes waiting to get help is that they were under-staffed. And then the service I received was with a very bad attitude and lack of interest.

Best Buy is a great site, but is difficult to navigate and to source from. Currently looking for an HP Printer that uses 564 ink and it is impossible to narrow down the search. Prices are great, shipping free (I am Elite plus), selection wonderful, the Best Buy app, a pleasure. They even offer great Starbucks coffee at great prices!
Best Buy sells all manner of consumer electronics: HDTVs, computers, cell phones, DVDs, laptops, tablets, video games, and just about everything else. Best Buy's website reflects both in-store and online merchandise.
