I've been super lucky and found some great deals on open box items via the website. Got my son a pretty spectacular gaming laptop for Christmas at around 60% off the regular price.
Overall, Best Buy is a complete joke. I've complained to the Better Business Bureau about this company. They are complete rip off. I can't wait until Amazon buys them out and they shut down. They literally stole a package and refused to give me my money back. I found the police report, and they never refunded me for the amount. Then for complaining, they placed me on a no online order or store delivery order List as if I would purchase from them again.
Do not buy the total tech program. This Best Buy, Salas associate, sold me the total Tech program under false information. Besides claiming that I could have my electronics fixed no matter what happened to it they did not inform me that there is a $99 deductible. In addition they did not explain that the total tech program it's not necessarily to physically repair the item, but that it is to call and get Remote support. The total tech program is essentially a scam in addition the program automatically renews after the first year. When I brought my laptop in for repair, the geek squad manager was incredibly rude and when I asked to talk to the store manager, he was additionally rude to me. I used to feel like Best Buy was my go to electronics store for major purchases, such as computers however, after this experience, I will never purchase another product from this company.

Do not get scammed. Do not purchase the total tech program. I used to think Best Buy was the code to for electronics after this experience I don't think I'll ever purchased another product from this company.

The total total tech program is being pushed on customers using false information to see the product. Best Buy customer service is it weird that they're sales associates are selling the product with False and misleading information. However, they are doing nothing to correct the problem and then they only offer partial refunds.
Overpriced merchandise. Ended up leaving our purchases because they just won't stop trying to upsell. Dumped the items and went to Fry's. Best buy is too difficult to buy from especially if you are wanting a good deal.
Best Buy has good electronics and some good deals but it pales next to visiting the store in person. Physically, you will be able to find better deals like on products which were floor models or returned. The prices are competitive to Amazon these days so it's worth checking out for the technophile.
I purchased 2in1 dell laptop on 3/21, kid went away and start using it around 4/18. Computer shows strange message every 30-40 mins and go back to reboot mode. When I chat online for help I was told that return date is passed so I can't return. I remind the representative that I am not calling for return. I called in to report issue and looking for technical support. I was told that take to nearest Best Buy but Best Buy will charge me to fix the problem. I requested if your product is not working what I have to do with this. I requested to open dispute and let's see what happened. I heard this first time in my life. With in 30 days, product not working as per standard and Best Buy telling me I have to pay them to provide me support.
I will not buy anything from beat busy.
I had a bad experience with an order I purchased online from Best Buy. My order # is *******761.
The shipment went into delivery status 1 day after I placed the order and should have delivered the following day. Then apparently it got lost in transit and I called their customer service. They were not helpful at all... they worked off of a script and told me they cannot do anything for me until 7 business days are up. They also would not let me talk to a supervisor. After that they told me it will take another 10 days to figure this out with the carrier and then "maybe" i can qualify for a refund or reshipment. I'm still waiting for them.
I never received my order that was supposed to be delivered in a few days. I followed up after almost. 2 weeks and saw that someone from Shipt picked up the order to deliver and then canceled it two days later. Absolutely no communication about this from Best Buy. I have done a few chat supports to resolve this and get my order through store pick up and keep being told a later and later timeline for reviving a confirmation email that would allow me to pick up my items in the store. I can't believe they are able to run a "business" like this. Quite honestly it feels like a complete scam at this point.
I needed to purchase a washer and would never go back to purchase an appliance there. They were totally understaffed and the manager of the department never lifted his head from the computer to acknowledge anyone. The staff who works there doesn't even greet anyone who comes to their department. Went to store manager and he was totally overwhelmed with cash register problems. Second time this week that I tried to go there and same results. Usually, I have a great experience but not this time. Guess I need to give my business elsewhere.
I'm a Best Buy elite member and bestbuy is a one of a kind place but lately I have issues. Nobody to help you in the store in Tuscaloosa there to busy chatting with each other and playing on their cell phones. Shipping took almost 7 days! And this new geo fencing so they know every time you visit the store and that prompts another email. I feel my privacy is violated!
The website is okay and much easier to use. It's way better than shopping in the store where a lot of times the sales people will be hanging out together and ignoring the customers or just walk on by like they are busy.
Easy to search and find what you want, but sometimes the resutls are confusing. Like it'll show two DVDs that look identical, but one has a really high price on it, but it's nothing special.

The store really has a great range of pretty anything on their shelves. The minus for this store is the service itself and having to wait. But, asisde from that could not be happier with my purchase. Online selection is amazing!
Purchased Eufy 2 camera security system. Installation by outside vendor could not be completed. Took over 1 and 1/2 hours to get date to finish. The so called help people just played musical extensions...switching back and forth claiming the other had to do the scheduling.

It's getting harder to always find the best price for electronics at Best Buy. But I still buy from them regularly. I was recently very disappointed they would not price-match the local caustic's advertised price on the costco website. So I spent the $4,000 at Costco instead, because Best Buy would not come down $50 on a bunch of flat screen TVs for my business.

I purchased cell phones a television and games and the service was great. I would recommend best buy because their service is what they say it is. They're attentive and goes out of their way to make sure you are satisfied.
The customer service does not go directly to the store you will visit. All numbers are directed to call center overseas. Called customer service and the person told me I could return a product less than 25 days old as it was a christmas present without receipt. When I arrived they not only did not find the sell by their own order number they could not find it by the purchaser. They would not exchange it or refund the price. I then went home and contacted the website for the store and received the same results. I believe they sold us a previously returned item which we thought was new. The box indicated it had been shipped via ups and we had purchased it directly in store. They are intentionally selling defective equipment that has been returned then when you bring it back to them outside of a 14 day return policy, they refuse exchange... My Air fryer worked for 15 days and quit turning on for no reason. I will never buy another item from Best Buy. Dr Angstadt *******298

I should never have stepped foot in the store. I wanted to find out a bit more about what I was buying. The store wasn't busy at all (mid afternoon on a Monday), but NO ONE would wait on me! We finally got one minute of a computer guy's time and he was clueless about something as simple as an iPad sleeve. The check register woman was incredibly rude. I had my 89-year-old mother with me, as the purchase was for her. I'm sure she'll never go back.
Purchasing a fridge from Best Buy was a complete and utter joke that I don't even know where to begin. Our initial delivery never came. We had our food out and waiting for six hours, and no one ever showed up. I made several phone calls to different reps to reschedule. After several inconvenient phone calls, I finally gave up and went with whatever schedule they have available.
The day finally came for our second delivery. The delivery guy informed us that the fridge is damaged; therefore, they would have to reschedule (for a THIRD delivery). This whole ordeal has been the most horrific buying experience in my life ever.
I would go into detail to show how elementary Best Buy has its scheduling system and interoffice communication, but I want customers to read my review and understand what is ahead of them when purchasing home appliances with Best Buy.

The driver showed up on time about 9:30 as promised between 8 and 10 AM.
Told me in broken English "Won't turn on." After verifying power to the extension cord I asked about a "... temperature setting control?" I wasn't understood. Finally, I located the control, turned it up (or down for colder?) and the freezer started to hum.
I'd give Bust Buy FIVE stars for delivery and three stars for "installation."
Absolutely terrible service and ordering system.
I placed an order online, it failed verification twice for no reason.
I then called in and with a very lengthy phone call manually placed the order and was told everything is fine. Only to received a verification failed email a few moments after putting the phone down.
Further lengthy phone calls and being bounced around, I was told they dont know why it fails and worst still they dont have any answers or ways of doing the order.
This after my bank confirmed there is not problem and they authorised all the order attempts.
I am an international customer, yet the only help they could offer was "please come into the store" or buy on your next visit to the states.
Never in my years have I had any company, let alones such as large one deal so badly with a customer!

We recently bought a computer at Best Buy. The price was marked at about $700.00, which was a fairly good price considering the features. What was frustrating is the salesman tried to sell us so many different warranties and service contracts. We really weren't interested and he made us feel like we were making a terrible mistake. We did purchase a few hundred dollars worth of services, including their virus scan. The computer is great and the store was nice. I just was not expecting the forceful sales tactic. If you need certain services to guarantee the life of the computer, they should include it in the cost.
Nintendo Switch bought online for store pickup, the closest that confirmed it had it was a half hour drive. When I arrived there I realize that 20 minutes into my drive, they emailed me to say the store does not have it. Had to come back next day. Otherwise, OK.
Got approved for a lease through Progressive Leasing. I ordered multiple products. Check out was easy but I selected all the free delivery options and was still charged $20 for delivery, which was supposed to be delivered today but hasn't been. Delivery for those 2 items will be tomorrow. One item was supposed to have been shipped last week and delivered tomorrow but wasn't picked up by the carrier until today and is scheduled for Wednesday. So in total I'm waiting on 6 items to be delivered in the next few days.

I'm on ssi and got approved for the lease option the same day. Best Buy will help you but you have to specific when calling them about payment issues as I was only supposed to pay the initial lease and shipping fees upfront but Best Buy tried to charge my card for the entire purchase. I had to almost argue with the lady to get her to only charge me the shipping fee as my initial lease payment went through with no problems.

Called the store first with our issue, as we live 35 minutes away, and were told no problem, come on in. Packed up our kids and headed into town.
When we arrived, with our receipt and the item in the original packaging, we are not only given the run-around by the customer service department, they actually laughed at us, to our faces, including one of their managers!
Tried tweeting about the problem only to be told that this was their "policy."
Needless to say, we will never be paying any employee of BB's salary, nor will any of our family and friends: the company truly is a work of art!
My credit card got stolen this summer and used at BestBuy. They figured it out before shipping and blacklisted my address.
No matter what I try, no matter who I talk to... I can no longer buy at Best Buy. Which makes them the Worst Buy.
Every time I place a new order, it gets cancelled within minutes with a bogus reason of "could not verify your information".
Luckily, Amazon & B&H sell most of the same items at the exact same price.
