I've been super lucky and found some great deals on open box items via the website. Got my son a pretty spectacular gaming laptop for Christmas at around 60% off the regular price.
Overall, Best Buy is a complete joke. I've complained to the Better Business Bureau about this company. They are complete rip off. I can't wait until Amazon buys them out and they shut down. They literally stole a package and refused to give me my money back. I found the police report, and they never refunded me for the amount. Then for complaining, they placed me on a no online order or store delivery order List as if I would purchase from them again.
I went to return a tv that was damaged inside the screen when I went the second day they were closed so I was told to go back Monday! And when I did the first employee asked for the receipt. I have it to him and said I'm not touching that, hello of u don't want to touch it and o understand bc the Corona viruse than wear some damp gloves stupid and then the second employees comes and look's at the tv and says nop we cant take the TV back! Like it was still under the 15 day warranty. Not only that they All called the police! Like what!? Since when was it under the law to go exchange or return an damage tv that wasn't my fault, and the way the treated us was disgusting! Never will will I go back
Delivery at best buy is a farce! I purchased an over the counter microwave and have scheduled 4 appt's ( so far) to get it delivered and installed. First appt botched because delivery dudes came/left before scheduled 4 hour window. 2nd appt cancelled day before appt because they didn't have microwave. 3rd appt, today, botched again because right hand doesn't know left hand exists, and now a 4th appt scheduled. Extremely poor service and many inept staff involved. Best buy definitely lost my family's business.
I drove to the Roseville Store about 11 am today, July 9,2022 a Saturday. The store would not allow anyone into the store apparanty because of construction. The website said nothing about this issue, so we drove about 20 miles one way to go to the store and was met by employees saying the store was unavailable. Not even the repair desk. Forget it Best buy. I am done with you!

They claim some Prices for some items are such an outstanding deal but I have checked out same item other sites and the item is no deal at all. They either jack their prices way up and then claim it's 50% off for example and really the reduced price is other places regular price. Warrenties are backed up as advertised-they are good about backing up items under warreny
I love to go to best buy to learn about new electronics that I may be in the market they don't always have the lowest price but I have bought many items from them for a very competitive price especially if you look in the Sunday times they have special offers.
Based on my TotalTech Membership that included delivery, installation and haul-away I purchased a dishwasher. Waited on the designated date and time (took the day off) and they showed up without a technician. Couple of calls later and an oops we are sorry they re-scheduled and I waited again. When the time was up and no-show I called only to be told that the truck broke down and 'didn't i get an email'? No I did not. Another attempt was made to re-schedule but at the last minute the person said that they would only deliver, no installation, I would need to call later and see when a technician might be available. At this point I cancelled the order. Not worth the high BP and missing work. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE.
I bought a Belkin wireless router on Best Buy.com. After about 3 weeks it stopped working. I called Belkin and asked if I should deal with them or Best Buy and they tried to fix it but couldn't and sent me an new one which worked for 10 days and broke. They wanted to send me another but I said I wanted my money back so they then referred me to Best Buy. I brought the broken router to Best Buy who told me I had 15 days to return the broken router. Well it worked for 17 days! So they did nothing for me and I lost my money and they lost a customer, Fifteen days is unrealistic and a bogus policy.
My husband bought a new IPad + program for $800 on Friday. On Saturday he somehow locked himself out while trying to set it up. He went right back to the store for someone to go over what to do. He was told it would be a $40 charge even though it had had it for less than 24 hrs. He was told on buying it that he had 2 weeks to return it. He said fine, if they wouldn't help him, he would return it. The women in returns asked him why he was returning it - he told her and she said she wasn't suppose to but she would credit him. He said you will give up an $800 sale for a $40 charge. Needless to say we will never deal again with a company that doesn't support their sales!
My wife bought me AirPods for Father's Day. She bought them on June 5th to make sure they would arrive by the June 20th date. I waited a whopping 3 days to open the box and discovered she bought the standard model, though she intended to purchase "AirPod Pro". I called Best Buy to exchange and pay the increased price to get the Pro model only to find they have a 15 day return policy! How can you buy a gift online and return it in 15 days! An unreasonable policy which is serviced by a group that doesn't care.

When it comes to electronics, especially computers and t. V. s, I always want to see the picture quality, see the dimensions and weight of the item, and see the quality of the item. You can't do that when buying online, so this is the place to be able to do all of those things. Plus, you can buy an extended warranty from them if you wish to be covered for longer than factory one. Yes, it takes longer than surfing and clicking, but when you are investing that kind of money for an item it is sooo worth it.

We ordered a printer, ink and paper to be sent to a home in Miami. Best Buy sent the printer properly to Miami but sent the ink and paper wrongly to an office address in Washington DC. Customer service was a half hour wait to speak with Grace in the Phillipines. She was awful and has now cost Best Buy a lifetime customer. She told us we had to take care of the problem since the building in Washington DC accepted the wrongly sent package of paper and ink. She kept repeating herself and putting us on hold. And then we asked for a supervisor. She refused to give us a name, had us hold 20 minutes, came back on and said she would then get the supervisor, had us hold another 28 minutes and then hanged up.
Employees and managers were too busy putting boxes in peoples way to help me find a $300 GPS that I wanted out of a cabinet will not be shopping there for my Christmas. As a matter of fact I just purchased some items the other day I will be bringing them back I will get them somewhere else
Decided to buy a phone from best buy. They said my info could be switched to the new phone and was compatible with us cellular. On the new phone I couldn't send or receive messages, and when I called us cellular they said they couldn't activate the new phone because it's not compatible. Not to mention I already bought a case, screen protector, and would have to pay a ridiculous 45 dollar fee to return it. I lost money because of them. Story short buy your new phone directly from your carrier and have it set up there. Best buy shouldn't even be allowed to sell phones.
I ordered a printer at the beginning of January 2021. Paid for it at the store, purchased additional tech support.
The printer did not arrive. I called to reschedule tech Installation. No help there. Would not confirm or reschedule.
Then I received an email from BB stating my order was returned.
When I started calling to find out what happened, I was on hold for inordinate amounts of time. Finally, when I got through I was immediately disconnected.
Called back and was on the same hold process and when I finally reached someone, I had to be transferred to another department. This happened six times over the course of four hours. Finally, customer service came on the line and said they have no other way to resolve the issue is give me a refund. I want a printer, not a refund.
NOT GOING TO BUY AT BEST BUY UNLESS THE ITEM IS IN STOCK.

The day of delivery I received a call from the delivery person regarding my washing machine to tell me that the machine had a large dent in the back so did I want the machine with dent or a new one? I told the person that what I wanted was what I bought, a new washing machine? I asked them when they would have a new undented one? They told me that they did not know that I would have to talk to the "office". The "office" told me that if I accepted the dented machine I would get a rebate of $100. I took the dented machine and surprise surprise, no rebate! I have tried to contact with them with no success so the conclusion is that this company is a ripoff. There are plenty of other places with better prices to buy so my advice is "buyer beware" this is not a good company!

I ordered a subwoofer and a enclosure. The site was easy to navigate to find what I was looking for. My order arrived on time. The bad was the subwoofer had a tear in it. The subwoofer manufacturer covered it under warranty but all in all it was ok. It was an easy fix. But others may not be the same.
These guys have the best costomer service in the world. The quality of the merchandise is gauranteed and they will match any price that is cheaper than the posted price. Over all i enjoy shopping at BestBuy.
Had to purchase a few e-gift cards for a contest my company ran. When I went to check out online it told me that some information was incorrect and for me to correct it. Only 1 problem, the site doesn't tell you what information they think is wrong. I verified the information and tried several more times. After about 10 minutes of frustration I called customer support. The first time the automated message told me that they cannot assist with purchasing gift cards and disconnected. The second time I called in i just his 0x4 to get to a human. After 20 minutes and 6 different transfers I was connected to a person who said they could help. They put me on hold, AGAIN, and 5 min later the line went dead. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE BEST BUY. YOU SUCK!

Within 2 hours of placing an order on a TV I wanted to upgrade because I had clicked on the wrong one by mistake they would have made $70 more. But I'm calling customer service they said I had to wait and look at the orders status before I can do any changes. So I did that but I was never able to make those changes so I am getting a TV that I don't want and they clearly no I don't want. You guys are willing to pay shipping to get this thing to me and then send me labels to ship it back so how much have you spent on shipping for an item I clearly said I don't want while it was still in the warehouse. I would have upgraded it spent more money if you'd just work with me at the time now I'm going to get the shipping label so you pay for that shipping and I'm going to bring it back personally and I'm going somewhere else to shop have a nice day I'm not grading the product. Only having truly shopped at Best Buy over the last 5 years I'm still amazed at how great the customer service and extended warranty plans are. My partner is on her 5th smartwatch/fitness tracker due to design flaws in previous models and I'm on my 3rd. While the store employees may not know the products specs 100%, the extended warranty and their return policy is worth buying to try with the peace of mind you can return hassle-free if needed.

I bought a Dell Inspiron from BB College Park. MD and it was a wreck! I returned it but decided to try another one since the reviews I read were pretty good. The one I exchanged the 1st one for was worse! The 2nd Inspiron laptop's screen continued to go black and I lost some of my work. I returned it and was told the techs would remove my personal security information. I got a call a few minutes ago from someone who bought the computer "new" from BB College Park. They charged him FULL PRICE! He said my pin was needed to open it but respectfully did not ask for the pin. I do not know how he knew to call me, but this is dangerous. I verified his identity and told him to take the computer back and coordinate his return when I could meet him there. I called BB and was on hold 1 hour. This is absolutely ridiculous! I will NEVER buy from BB nor recommend BB to anyone.
