I have used Beyond Menu since 2015 and regularly order lunch for pickup through the website. I found a great little Chinese restaurant nearby and they never get my order wrong, I've never been overcharged, and the order is received quickly (much easier than making a phone order). I have ordered from multiple restaurants in several cities. The only times I have had a negative experience was when the restaurant neglected to monitor their online orders. Either that, or they chose to stop accepting online orders without alerting Beyond Menu. Thanks for helping me get my Kung Pao chicken fix on a regular basis.
Place an order last night, first only one place show delivery time "30-60 minutes". Nothing on email received confirming order, not great service but ok. Then after 75 minutes went ahead and called restaurant, only to find out it was CLOSED. Sure glad I did not use a credit card. Total waste of time, since restaurant uses the service after they re-opened have to consider that going again since they don't check up on their support businesses.
I order from one of my local establishments frequently enough. Usually I call or use Grub Hub. Tonight, I didn't feel like talking to anyone since I spent over 6 hours driving and flying across country to get home from a wedding... I wanted simple service. Order and get food without having to deal with people...
I went to their website, clicked "Order Online" and was redirected to Beyond Menu. I thought this was weird. I've never heard of them before. So, to play it safe, I ordered for Delivery and opted to pay CASH! What a good move that was. Not only did they charge a $1.99 delivery fee (which the merchant does NOT charge if you call them), but they charged 2.375% HIGHER tax rate on the order. So instead of the New Jersey Tax Rate of 6.625%, they were charging 9%!
I spoke to the merchant and they informed me that they do NOT have a contract with them and that I should stick with Slice or Grub Hub or call directly!
I suggest everyone avoid BeyondMenu!

We are a restaurant that used to use BeyondMenu. Speaking from personal experience STAY AWAY. Their "customer service" doesn't help at all and many times you are left to figure stuff out on your own. When asked to speak to the manager we were told they don't even have one. I'm not even sure how that works. We have called multiple times but nothing have been resolved. Tip does not go to the restaurant whatsoever, payments have not been processed to us, and they are STILL sending us emails stating that WE owe them money. Terrible company. Do not use.

They constantly hijack your google business page and link their website instead your true website. In doing so, my restaurant get an order for prices that are incorrect and that I have to honor. We had tried to numerous times to update our menu with them and they never do it. So we are done. After telling them we no longer wanted to be partner, three weeks late they hijack our google business page again and start direct orders to use through their fake website. We are dine with Beyond Menu. Save your money and just order directly from the restaurant or many of the other third party vendors that are honest and offer better customer service.

My food arrived from 4 blocks away 1.5 hours after ordering and cold. I refused to tip and the delivery driver shouted at me in reception. I have been firstly told to go in and request my money back from the restaurant and when I pointed out that I'm a solo female traveller and didn't want to go somewhere where I'd possibly be intimidated again, beyond menu have now resorted to completely ignoring me. I'm left hungry, angry and very disappointed.

Called me up to confirm credit card details even though I paid with paypal. Threatened to cancel the order if I didn't call them back. Said my email address (a forwarding email service) was "flagged in their system." Asked that I present an ID on delivery. One made to my home! I'm really glad that they don't have my real email address now.
How hard can it be to be a third party order service? Like, how many ways can you manage to make it bad for a customer? All they have to do is to literally not get in the way of the transaction. They must be a lowest bidder kind of service.

I've tried this App twice now and both times have been absolutely horrible. They don't ever place the order! And never pay with a card on their site, they don't reimburse you! I've called their customer service line and was met with a series of "uh's and um's" and their only response to not placing my order was, "would you like me to place the order again?" Are you serious? Why would I ask you to do it again, when I'm calling because you didn't do it right in the first place! I'm so disappointed, I just wanted a damn egg roll.

I ordered food from a local Chinese restaurant as I have many times using BM. Shortly after I received a call from my banks fraud department because an attempt was made, using my card number, for $2,077 on Ticketmaster. Guess someone wanted to go to the super bowl tomorrow. Now I have no debit card. Card in hand and have not used it for a few days other than this order.

Hungry traveling nurse here. Ordered like I have with Uber eats. Got my expected delivery time, everything was smooth, paid with Google pay. Close to delivery time i luckily looked at my email to see the order was cancelled. Called customer service to find out that (without telling you when you sign up) that they will call you from an Illinois phone number to verify your account. If you don't pick up, they cancel your order. So without any heads up I lost my place in the food ordering chain and had to call the restaurant directly.
So if you are a traveler like me. Avoid this service unless you are the type to pick up any random phone call!

They get orders by hacking your google listing. Poor business practice. We've had some beyond menu order and now we found out why. They create a dummy page to lead orders to there site. Call them about it and have yet to receive a call back. I't been over a week that i claimed the account and still waiting on google.

Placed an order thinking it was being placed directly with the business, however I did not get a confirmation of when the food would be ready. When I called the restaurant is when I found out that the order was not placed with them but through Beyondmenu. What made it worse was that I was told the order would not be ready for an hour! When I finally arrived at the restaurant they were having a sale every second sushi roll was 1/2 off! None of my 4 rolls were discounted. So needless to say I feel a bit ripped off!

However, some stores have certain discounts only applicable for walk-in or store orders--this does not include those orders placed online with their ordering partners. This company will gain ownership to your restaurant's google listing, and then will not release it back to you. After I called them multiple times, they kept saying they've already released it. At the same time, I'm going through the proper google reclamation procedures and beyond menu keeps denying my request for ownership of my own restaurant's google listing. Never again. I work from home & on the phone frequently. I put a note in my account not to knock or ring doorbell because my dogs go nuts, to just leave the bag at the door & I'll get when I can. He repeatedly knocked & dogs went nuts while I'm on the phone. I finally broke away & went to door. This site is posting menus and allowing you to order from restaurants where it has no relationship. Be careful not to make any payments thru this site. Orders placed online are not transmitted anywhere because they have no arrangement. I see that many others are having the same issue. Be aware of this site - it is deceptively realistic

The only reason for 1 star is just to write this review. I will NEVER use online ordering with beyondmenu again! This was my first and last time to place a order that has to go through them. I am so very upset, spending $35 on myself for Chinese lunch specials and not one item placed was correct! My family wanted Chinese food delivered since weather conditions were not favorable for us to go out. It seemed BeyondMenu was the company to go through if I wanted to order and pay online. I had no issues with the order process and the food was delivered within a reasonable time due to the snow and ice outside. The following day first thing in the morning, I get called by my bank to verify transactions that took place on my credit card. There were charges for gas and purchases made at a depot store in total amount of $300 dollars. It's not a coincidence when the card had not been used for a while and it was finally used through BeyondMenu to order food that someone's fraudulently duplicated my card's information to make purchases. Fortunately, my bank was able to put a hold on the card immediately and was eventually able to put back the money in my account. DO NOT use BeyondMenu and just contact the restaurant directly!

Don't waste your time and money. I'd rather eat out of a garbage can. Restaurants don't provide and the BeyondMenu does not care about customers. Customer service is absolutely rude. They say that they cannot transfer calls to supervisors but yet again it is 2019. Don't waste your money. They are worthless.

Beyondmenu.com wanted to provide online ordering for our restaurant. We agreed since they were providing a decent rate compared to similar services. However a week or two later when googled our restaurant we found our google business listing had been taken over by them. The google listing link to website did not point to our website any longer, but a very cheaply done website with very tacky styling which had online ordering links to their site. The google business listing links other delivery services such as doordash were all removed with the link to their website being the sole one left. They probably wanted to maximize their potential review, however this was not the way to go about it. Luckily we managed to restore our google business listing with our own information.

I was charged twice for an order placed on 3/18 initially my order came to $26.04. Then it was adjusted to $19.67 because my order was half incorrect. In my bank I have a pending withdrawal of $26.04 tying up my money, while you have also successfully took the $19.67. Ann, who corrected this order told me that the pending payment would be put back in 24 hours. It has been more then that and a different representation today Joy told me it would take 3-5 business days. I am livid that your tying up money that you have no right to. You got your payment, release my other funds. I'm not using your service again. This is a bad business practice. I'll call the restaurants over the phone then go threw this bull ever again.

When I asked him how he even knew what I was calling about he said "I know your address, I know your email, I know everything." I'm really pissed off I fell for this scam. Receiving 6-7 calls per day, even asking them repeatedly to be removed from their list. My phone number has not belonged to a restaurant for at least 7 YEARS. Now they are leaving voicemails, laughing and speaking in a foreign language. They must be bored and feel like harassing people who would never be a customer is entertaining.

So, on the plus side its easy to use. However, when the restaurant never gets your order, or gets your order 3-4 HOURS after you sent it, the nightmare begins. They're a pain in the butt to get your money back from, a pain to contact (3rd party call centers i think, the people on the phone know nothing about the application or the website). Overall the entire process takes something that should be completely mindless (we've been able to order food online for 20+ years now?) and makes it nothing but a hassle, avoid at all costs.
