Synonyms: robber, thief,... crook,. Raider, freebooter, hijacker, looter,...

Wish I had read others reviews. As other indicated stated shipping not accurate. Parts not in stock and are being 'cross-shipped' and supposedly was notified of this once order was placed within browser, yet there is no such information within the order confirmation email. In the end after waiting 6 days, i'm told the order may ship 7-8 days from when the order was confirmed, and a full 12 days after the order was place. In order to confirm the presence of any such notification would have to place another order, and orders can not be cancelled on-line but only via calling. Oh, 'your call is important to them, and they place a priority on customer service'; p

Bought a part that failed miles later from what appeared to be a manufacturing problem. Many months later when I discovered this, I called and told them what had happened. About a week later a replacement showed up on the porch! That's some pretty damn good customer service!

“Forget about refunds, your never gonna see it...”

A seriously dishonest online merchant. Purchased $350.00 of parts, returned an ill fitting poor quality seat cover 1 day after receipt of order, valued at $50.00, followed return instructions to the letter. Bike Bandit acknowledged receipt of the return in an email 3 days later, and mentioned a refund would be noted to the account within 7-10 days. That was 3 months ago. Repeated requests for an update never replied to. Others mention same issue with refunds, recommend you stay away from this merchant, lots of honest, responsive online sellers treat customers like they care, this one couldnt care less.

Bike bandit is a joke. Order parts and they can't get them but they tell you they can. I had to cancel the order and it Been 10 days and they still have my money... poor excuses for a company

I bought two front brake rotors. When I opened the shipping box, the two boxes inside looked nothing alike; one was brand new and the other was beat-up and had been resealed several times. The rotors were the same part number but the colors were different from one another and one was engraved then filled with white paint (company, model) and the other was plain. I sent an email and called. Because of their very limited hours I had to call back the next day. I talked to Diego and explained that I needed a third rotor sent out ASAP, that I had received two different generations of the rotor, that they didn't match. I didn't care which rotor I received - current of last generation, I just wanted a match. I explained that this was my daily transportation and I would be bicycling until I received it. I was asked to send a photo of the rotors. I did, along with reiterating I wanted another rotor shipped ASAP, and that I would ship back whichever one didn't have a match. This whole thing started three weeks ago. Still no rotor.

Much like many of the other folks on the site reviewing. I ordered on Apr 14th 2020, and today May 21st over 1 month later I still have yet to receive the items I bought. Spent over $500 and every time I call I get a new excuse. I've heard three different times that it should ship by blah blah date and never does. This forth time of calling their own customer service just recommended I cancel the order and buy from someone else.

They are trying to blame the pandemic. But sadly its a poor excuse to try an explain the same behavior they have had for years now. I've cancelled their terrible order as advised by their own customer service and without sparing a moments time bought the parts elsewhere. I already have a guaranteed delivery date of this Tuesday the 26th.

Bike bandit can try and hide behind the excuse that the pandemic is why they are dog $#*!, but the reality is no other business has had late shipping times. The few of the relatives and friends who have experienced delay, were not only notified, but their dates were delayed by mere days. Not months. It costed $3 more to get the same parts, why I didn't listen to reviews before hand I will never know.

Just stay away from their company, their own customer service team is recommending you spend your money else where. Jokes on them too, the $511 and change was the first of two purchases for a rebuild, the second purchase being over $1600. Guess it doesn't pay to be a loser hiding behind peoples suffering and sickness. Shame on them for even using the pandemic as an excuse.

I ordered nearly $200 worth of parts almost 3 months ago. After the first 2 weeks, received an email stating they were having difficulties due to covid. That's understandable for a while, but waiting 3 months and still no parts or a refund is ridiculous. I've sent multiple emails and haven't received any further response. At this point I would like to just cancel my order and get my money back but that hasn't happened yet. Disappointing because I ordered from this company for years and never had a problem.

Update:

The good news: bikebandit finally emailed me an hour after I wrote this review and cancelled my order.

The bad news: it's been 3 weeks and still no refund in my account. I have emailed bikebandit and still received no response. I still have neither parts nor the money that I paid them. Currently considering legal action, which may be the only way to get my money back.

Update #2: It took another month and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau in order to get my money back. Bikebandit will tell you they're working on it but won't actually do anything until a 3rd party gets involved. I wonder how much interest they made off of their customers money sitting in their account for months since it obviously isn't being paid to suppliers. I'm disappointed to see a formerly respectable business rip off so many customers. Even more surprising is that they are continuing to take orders and payment for those orders, knowing that they cannot fulfill them. Take my advice and stay away from this company.

I confirmed my order on 10/06/20. Still to this day have not gotten it yet. Bike band customer service tells me that they have not even received my order yet for processing.

Dont use this site unless you want to give them your money for nothing in return

My recent customer experience with Bikebandit.com was less than satisfactory. Upon receiving the wrong part, I attempted to return the part the first three times I called it seemed as if the "returns" department was just a voice mailbox. When I finally got someone on the phone they laid out the returns policy and it seemed straight forward. I packed it back up in the same fashion I received it and asked for a shipping label as the website offers. I have still yet to hear back, so I was forced to spend extra money to ship it back to them.
When Bikebandit.com's returns department received the part I was immediately told the part was not in the correct packaging. They refused to refund the money and now expect more money to ship a part I didn't need to begin with back to myself.
It would appear that Bikebandit.com has a nice little racket going, not refunding money on a part I'm certain they will sell again. I have since ordered the correct part from 2wheelpros.com and received it in a timely fashion and for $25 less than Bikebandit.com charges.

Our phone lines are open from 6AM to 6PM Monday through Thursday, and 6AM to 5PM Friday. We also have a livechat and email service and respond to emails within 24 hours. In regards to returns, most customers return their parts in the exact condition that we sent them out in. In your case you shipped the handle bar back without the manufactures packaging.
It did not include the outer packaging with the label/barcode. Without the original packaging, the manufacture will not take it back, nor can we sell it as new. We list these conditions in our returns page and also in the emails we send out to the customers. Please feel free to call us and ask for a manger if you need to discuss this further.

I had placed an order the beginning of May. After a month of not receiving I called to cancel, but you can't get anyone on the phone even after holding for over an hour. I sent an email to cancel the order also asking for acknowledgment, but of course did not receive a response. A few days later the order showed up after I had sourced the items locally. I have called numerous times spending over two hours on the phone with nothing. Can't leave a voicemail, live chat does not work and they don't respond to emails. I feel like I am getting scammed? How can you have a company these days with zero customer service/support. I can see if you are getting thousands of calls a day (in which you hire more reps), but I just dont see that happening and if it is the case then I am in the wrong business. If someone happens to have one of the secret extensions I would be grateful if you shared.

I ordered some parts about 2 weeks ago, understanding that Bike Bandit was on a 1-2 week delay. However, in the middle of that timeline, I got an email saying it was delayed, so I decided to reach out and see if it was delayed further than the 2 week estimate or longer. No response on chat. No response on emails. No answer on phones. And when I go in on the site to look at my order details, I just get a 505 error - for weeks now. Seems like they aren't currently an operating business, so don't waste your time! I disputed the charge with my bank and they refunded it very quickly and I ordered my parts elsewhere. Just know - you will NOT know when you will get your parts (of if they will come at all), they WILL charge your card automatically, and you will not be able to talk to a rep in any manner to cancel the order or get an update. If you are already in this boat (waiting for things you've ordered from them with no ETA), dispute that charge with your bank if possible. Otherwise, steer clear of this company. They obviously are having issues with running a business currently.

Tip for consumers:
Steer clear of this site. Once you order, you cannot cancel, change or inquire about the order, nor will Bike Bandit inform you of any updates on your order.

Horrible service i order parts on may 16th today is june 12th and i did not received my item yet i emailed them twice never back from them, i tryied to call *******888 many times and i found alwys the same voice mail that keep you in hold, you can stay hours waiting for an answer... nothing i think they are scam, plus idk what to do now?!?!?!?! Impossible to have a contact with these peolpes how to know about the item or how to ask for a refund? No waiste your money and your time with these scammers

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE BIKEBANDIT. My experience is like the majority below. They take your money, send automated generic emails telling you your shipment is delayed because of COVID and don't respond to queries requesting updated ship dates even though their automated emails appear to indicate items are in stock. Two months after placing my order the items still hadn't been shipped and I needed to resort to PayPal to get my money back. Over the years I've dealt with numerous suppliers both local and overseas and apart from BikeBandid have not had one issue. From what I see BikeBandid do not have any unique products (do they actually have any products at all?) and their pricing is market pricing. My advice is that you use other suppliers for the items you need. They should be shut down.

Don't waste your time ordering from Bike Bandit. I had ordered some parts with the knowledge that there would be slight delays due to the ensuing pandemic. Within 24 hours the full charge had hit my card. After twice the stated processing time, I contacted customer service, where they informed me that there was a slight delay in their warehouse and that my products would be shipped by the end of the week. When they hadn't shipped by the beginning of the next week, I contacted CS and got the same story. Repeat this process two more times and I was at my wits end. After being lied to and brushed off four times, I canceled my order and asked for a refund. That was a couple of weeks ago and I still haven't gotten my money back. DO NOT buy from this company, they'll waste your time, take your money, and leave you up a creek without a paddle. Their customer service department is no help, warehouse processing is subpar, and order forecasting is a joke. Partzilla.com is a much better alternative.

Do not use this company, they are horrible to deal with! They contacted me Friday may 15 2020, and they tell me the parts are there but no one to ship it? Slap a ups sticker on it and put it in the truck! How friggin hard is it to do? Awful company awful, service, the excuse of using c19 doesn't work, i work for a company and we do not have ANY issues... what a joke and what a fraud of a company, how dare they say customer service is there top priorty. I never leave reviews of companies but, they are so bad I have too. I placed an order on June 5th for several items. On June 26th I finally got ahold of someone after an hour long wait on hold. I was informed that several items were on backorder, I said cancel everything that you do not have on hand and ship what you do. Today I receive another email stating the remaining items are still delayed. I spent an hour on hold for them to pick up and immediately hang up. Called back and got a no one is available message. Called back a third time and waited for over half an hour before someone answered. Told them to cancel entire order which they happily did. Received an immediate email confirming cancellation. We will see how long before it's refunded on the credit card. I believe that they do not actually have anything in their warehouse other than tires (there's a few good reviews for tires). I will never do business with this company in the future. They blame Covid but I have placed other orders with other companies this month, including one from Italy a week after my bike bandit order and It arrived within a week. You have been warned stay away from Bikebandit.com

First time customer order TX7DQ36. Made order on 5/6, got 1 tire and handle bar in 2 days, thought this is great! Now, I wait for front tire, tubes and grips. Sent email and got generic email #LTK*******876X back. I would like my order! At least let me know by email, something!

Bikebandit contacted me this morning and was very apologetic and explained delays. Assured me I would get my order ASAP. I myself, am in business in California and shut down for Covid so I understand. Just like to be updated and not feel like order was forgotten.

Bikebandit reply to Trustpilot.com, review said they left me a private message to help with my order! Where did they leave that message? Email? Phone? Text? Never got a message so far!

6/11 update. Got an email on Monday 6/8 Bikebandit stated they were working 24/7 to get back orders shipped. Today I got my tire and tubes. Just my grips left to complete my order. Way to go Bikebandit!

Well it's now 6/29, STILL NO GRIPS! JUST GRIPS! The last thing on my order from 5/6. I think BIKEBANDIT has MAJOR problems. Received an email last week to rate my new handle bars. I got that on 5/9 and STILL NO GRIPS! Save yourself the frustration, order from anyone else!

Placed 2 orders on May 6th and May18th, 2020. Received part of my May 18th order today (July 10th), almost 3 months later. Unfortunately, half of my order is missing... No explanation whatsoever...
My May 6th order hasn't even shipped yet over 3 months later.
I reached out several times over the last 3 months to get updates through email (no one answers the phone and live chat hasn't been working for months). The ONLY response I get is when I leave a review here...
As if this isn't frustrating enough, they keep sending me promotional emails with "next day air shipping promotions". So apparently they can ship orders the next day but my order hasn't shipped after 3 months!
They have offered to refund me the shipping (I only got refund for 1 order) but I would much rather they just shipped my stuff.
I'd also really like to get an explanation why I only got half of one of my orders (why did some items get canceled, those items are still available on the website and qualify for next day air shipping). Again, I sent several emails/messages to inquire but never got any response...
I've ordered several items from other companies and got all of them within 2-3 weeks.
The Bikebandit website states delays of 2-3 weeks. In reality the delays are 3 months or more.
Had great service from Bikebandit in the past. After this experience, I'm not sure I'll ever do business with them again. They really need to communicate effectively with me if they want me to reconsider.

I got a generic email telling me to get in touch with Bikebandit through live chat (which doesn't work and has been down for weeks) or call them. I tried calling but gave up after 1 1/2 on hold. I tried calling several times. It's been 5 weeks now and my order has not been shipped. Very disappointing...
