Did you know that you could special request a drink pickup? Because I didn't! Thankfully customer service helped me, and then my driver (who was really fast and friendly) brought them over! Super delighted!
I will never use the service again after being tricked into a monthly subscription when purchasing my first order. Due to this being a credit card through work, it took me months to realize this. Of course they refunded the last month "as a courtesy". What would have been more courteous is not scamming customers in the first place. I deleted my account and will never recommend their services.
I've had 2 orders that were messed up in the past 2 days. The current order was $75 and 50% of the order was missing. I personally contacted the restaurant for the bitesquad customer service representative and got the phone number for contacting them. The bitesquad customer service representative would not contact the restaurant in order to have this issue fixed. Instead I was refunded $25 on an order that was $75. Do not use bitesquad.
Everything in this order was great! The food from the restaurant was made correctly and delivered in a timely manner. The driver was pleasant and delivery fees are really fair. We definitely enjoy using BiteSquad and plan on continuing to do so.
If you accidentally place an order because of app lag, they will not let you cancel the order and they will not refund your money. Their support team on chat is useless and their support phone number drops calls. This is one of my worst customer service experiences, hands down.
We have been using BiteSquad for about 6 months and they have been great all around from food choices including how freshness (hot) of the food we have ordered. Drivers are fast overall. We stopped using DoorDash because of delivery time was not as good as BiteSquad and we use to get our food cold.

I am in NY. My son is a college student in Florida, he came down with the flu. I was able to get online and order with such ease through bite squad. It brought up participating restaurants. I ordered chicken noodle soup a BLT and ginger ale which got to him within the hour. Such a great feeling to have a service where I could have my son feel the comforts of home even though he is 1000. Miles away. He was so grateful and the food was great!
Ordered burgers from Shakespeare's Pub. Driver said the food was ready just when he got there. Took only 17 minutes from the time I ordered it online until it was delievered piping hot to my home--that is faster than I could have done picking it up myself.
I ordered gumbo on this drizzly gray day. It arrived hot and required no microwave nuking. It was pricey and all. However, if you are in a pinch and just cannot stand to leave the office or the house--go for it. You will be glad you did.

Best restaurant food delivered, ever. I don't understand the bad reviews of Savio's? It was fantastic! I know Italian food. I grew up in NYC and lived in Italy for 5 years; this was like being back in Italia.
I'm guessing the patrons who gave the food 1 * or bad write-up were expecting it to taste like Pizza Hut past or such.

I have been using Bitesquad because I received a gift card for the service. This service sucks. The app get stuck on "food being prepared" until I contact Customer Service. They claimed I needed to update my app but I had the same issue on the computer. I have had similar issues like this every time I have used Bitesquad (5-6 times). My most recent order had the same issue, and when the driver arrived, she only gave me half my order. I was in contact with the restaurant and they said the whole order had been picked up, meaning the driver stole me food. Forget this app, just use Doordash if you really want a delivery app.

As a driver of another co, you have to realize it is the restaurant's responsibility to make sure that the order is accurate and compare to what was ordered. It is not the responsibility of the driver. We are not food handlers and cannot touch or open the food once it leaves the restaurant. Trying to find an address, especially in a huge apt complex, and at night can be difficult; it is all according to how the units are marked. If I have an address issue, and I do, I call the customer and ask for help. GPS is not always accurate and will only take you to the address, not unit#. As far as times go, we are at the mercy of the rest. Getting the order out. Each night, I have to wait on orders, sometime a half hour or more. Remember, this is not a piece of cake business; there are a lot of factors involved in getting the order placed, cooked and out the door for delivery. Many of the restaurants are not good at it.
I've ordered a lot of this place in hopes that it would get better and maybe get the kinks out. I am constantly getting wrong cold food. When I order from the OTHER GUYS it comes hot and quickly... I am not going to use you guys anymore. I'm sick of incorrect cold food and have no way to contact you besides slow internet chat or email. Bad service. Bad customer service. You make restaurants look bad.

I would recommend if in your area use Uber Eats they at least get it quick and hot.
I just experienced a wonderful service. Thank you for an amazing experience, easy to order, very fast and friendly. About the food, I just have to say it was better than expected. Five stars for Blu Restaurant and Fresh Fish Market, amazing Seabass!
I got my order 40 minutes after the time I had specified for it to be delivered. Website actually says If you want your food delivered to your door the minute you get home from work, the gym or the bar, simply choose your specific delivery time after selecting your menu items. I chose my delivery time, then wished I had just driven myself to get my food.
BiteSquad service is the best. It would be great if the restaurants they serve would improve the experience by providing plates, utensils (including serving utensils). When I have a large catering order, it only seems right that the restaurant provide a way to serve.
The order never came instead of notifying me that the order was canceled it says it's been delivered I tipped $5 and payed the $3.99 fee the customer service offered me $5 credit because the confusion they also said the cost of my order will be refunded but they only refunded the cost of the food not the fee or my tip so they just took about $9 from me and I haven't received anything except the $5 credit and come on $5 for being 1 hour late then just saying my order was delivered usually it would say my order was canceled but this time I was charged $37 and only "refunded" $20 they literally just took money from me for nothing.
Quick and cheaper than doordash. Food was hot so no complaints here. I didn't even know that foodie call delivered in my area but I'm sure glad that I know now and I will definitely use their service again!
Ordering online was very easy and quick. The food arrived 20 minutes earlier than it's expected arrival. The deliver guy was very friendly. However, I wish I had the option to tip the delivery guy (by card) after the food was delivered while signing for it. However, this is not an option. Customers are only allowed to add tip money to the total before the food is delivered. Why would I leave tip money for a service I have yet to receive? I feel bad because the delivery guy was really nice & I on had a couple of dollars on hand.
This was my first time using BiteSquad. The delivery driver was in a neat uniform & got here super fast with my dinner! The online tracking is fun ~ a doorbell rings when you're food is at the door! I was very pleased with the experience.
I was charged for an order that was canceled by them but they took $101.12 out my account. When I contact their chat they give you the runaround then just disconnect the chat while you're still asking questions. I send them screenshots of the cancellation and a screenshot of my charged account and they still refuse to refund my money. I will be disputing the transaction through my bank & will never use Bite Squad again because Uber Eats WOULD NEVER!
I was charged $9.99 twice for some membership I never even signed up for and when I told them in live chat about what happened I was told it was not their problem and to dispute the charges with my bank. Wow what a way to do business in a time like this!
We placed a group order for lunch at 11:20 am. At 11:23, I received an email requesting payment verification. The email with the verification was sent back at 11:32. At 11:40, the status tracker still didn't have an update, so I initiated a chat. They took over 5 minutes to get back to me, and in the meantime, we called the restaurant, and they said they never got the order. Bite Squad finally got back to me and said they needed payment verification. I said that was sent to you 20 minutes ago. So we cancelled the order and just phoned it in to the restaurant. The delay is unacceptable.
From start to finish the app let me know where my food was in the process. It alerted me to unforeseen issues (like it was taking longer to cook) and showed me exactly on the map where my driver was. I received a text that he was near and was able to meet him at the door of the office building. Overall, great service, fast delivery, and friendly driver made it a great experience.
A friend shared this great service with me and Im so glad I remembered bite squad when we decided to watch a movie and get take out at home instead of going out. I swear by the time we decided on a movie and got comfy the food was here! Will use this service again and again!
I used them for the second and last time tonight. The first time, order was 40 minutes late and food was cold. Tonight the order was 50 minutes late with cold food. Both times they blamed the restaurant (different restaurants).
I ordered from Bite Squad tonight and I started wondering where the order was about 20 minutes after the intended arrival time. I checked online and it said that our order had been delivered. I contacted customer service and was told that the driver had waited at our delivery site for 10 minutes and left. We had left specific instructions to leave the food in our porch (the porch door was open) as we were going to be occupied at the time of delivery. I have no missed calls on my phone to show that the driver tried to contact us. We were told by customer service that we would not get a refund and that they would not deliver the food. They also said that they don't have control over a driver delivering food or not. I am incredibly disappointed in the service I received. I am frustrated that I cannot trust an order will be delivered and that I can't rely on BiteSquad to correct their mistakes. Don't use BiteSquad if you want to guarantee that you will receive your order!
