Save your money. I Took a 3 month subscription (based on reviews here now I must checkimy Credit card to see if I was over billed)
Joined on a Friday, removed my profile and cancelled subscription in a week here's why: same "matches" pops up every day despite swiping left to say NO not interested. Freaky looking females pop up as a match for me when I have clearly indicated in preferences I am seeking males. Very poor Calibre of Matches. Not user friendly. Can't even rearrange your photo layout. Liking someone's profile triggers an automated misleading message that you are unaware of until you check your history. Very disturbing. I quit and have feedback in the process that based on the reviews I have just read will likely not be considered.

Fake dont join one month was enough they recycle the men, and a lot of the profiles are fake, they are generic they say the same thing. Lots of poor spelling same number of views, right around when it was time to renew suddenly 168 messages no way. I deleted my account photos and thankfully used a prepaid Visa so they cant come back and steal my actual account information.The men mostly no car no job live with there mom over the ages of in there late 50s.Run this isn't the way to.go black people meet owned by white couple do your research the commercial is nothing like what's on the actual site, they have professional looking attractive people on tv. Online its horrible men with missing teeth.Im attractive gorgeous teeth, on house car, nurse. I'm now dating in the real world good luck guys.

Ladies beware of Basketballcraz50. He is a manipulator and a pathological liar. Will have you thinking that you're the crazy one and second guessing yourself... I've met nothing but men with problems on this site, please beware. Save your money

They have man posing as someone else trying to swindle women out of money. I contacted BPM several times and still have not received a response (its been 4yrs) All they want is that monthly payment they don't care what you do on that site.

Any positive reviews of BPM are probably fake and written by BPM staff. If anyone really did have a successful match on BPM, then why would they come to the complaints site to say that they had success unless they are paid, somehow? Anyone who has had a happy match would not be here. They would be too preoccupied with focusing on their new, so-called "match made in heaven".

After "admittedly" being on the site, on and off for four years, I can honestly say I feel extremely ashamed that my family and friends even knew I joined. Only to come up short with no leads to finding that special someone. It wasn't all that bad in the beginning, and I kind of enjoyed all the attention. Now, it's a whole other story. All I get is men on continuously peeking in, giving me compliments etc., I did however go on two dates. And of course, neither JERK! Looked like his profile. Jacked up teeth, big guts, sloppy, etc., so not my style. I'm thrilled my membership is coming to an end. I will NEVER! Renew. I don't care of my of a "alleged" deal they will throw my way. Oh yea, the site if full of $#*! too. Go elsewhere.

When I joined BPM many years ago when online dating had promise, I met and dated quite a few honorable guys. Years later, it's nothing but recycled profiles, they keep "viewing" and never responding, which makes me suspect the owners of the photos are unaware their photos are still being used. And now, the company is obviously hiring a bunch of idiots because even though I am seeking a man, I'll find women's profiles as matches. They reality have gotten tacky as time has gone on, and that include SeniorPeopleMeet AND OurTime. I've done better going to a club to meet men. What began as a good idea has become a hustle for the company with bogus intentions. What worse, they are now owned by Match.com, who now seems to adopt the same practices.

Well it's been three days... this site sucks. There is definitely a quantity but not quality issue. Lots of men that want to talk about sex (on the first conversation). I specifically put I didn't want anyone with children and they keep sending matches of men with children. Refund policy is non- existent. You can cancel your profile but cannot get your money back for their sorry service. Uhggg three more months of this crap. Don't waist you time!

Very dissapointed. I would never recommend this site unless u want to me selfish, rude liars. Who only want sex. This site is not for classy ladies at all. I'm glad I paid for only 30 days. After one week I was done. Same old men, no one new. They will view ur profile constantly, very lil communication. It's a waste of time an money.

I been dealing with this site for long time, gave decent photos & gave a decent bio on me etc! Etc! And still no results! Until I did a investigation on my own & found out their are a lot & I mean a lot of fake women profiles on blackpeoplemeet! Where & why they are always use photos of people is beyond me! Glad I didn't pay any $ or I would be so sorry! I eliminated my profile!

Just following up after my first review of BPM. I am in a committed, serious relationship (March 2016 was 2 years). With a wonderful, caring, supportive, gainfully employed man... I know there have been many negative posts about this site so I amjust one of the Blessed ones that he and I found each other on this site. Thanks you BPM..

Having gone through the main known sites Match and Silver Singles, decided on Blackpeoplemeet. As I was not familiar with it, decided on just a month's membership. Where do I start with the issues.
1). Membership Cost - what it stated was cost of membership for a month and what was charged to my credit card are two different figures. Also, an additional charge for what, I am unsure of and disputed with my credit card company.
2). Quality of members - sifting through members, I immediately knew I had made a huge mistake and glad I only subscribed for a month.
3). Members Intentions - Could as well be a hook up site as 99% of members profiles are not filled out just shows picture and location and that is it. Nothing about who they are, what they are looking for, etc. Suspect!
I would definitely NOT recommend as it is flawed on so many levels.

Wow listen ladies be very careful on this site it is full of scammers trying to take your money promising love and marriage but really what they want to do it take your money steal your bank information and robe you blind. They put up fake profiles of handsome men they have stolen from other sites. I have busted 3 of them myself. 99.9% of them are takers.

Its so bad that Blackpeoplemeet need to screen this thugs carefully but they don't like other sites. It is not worth your money to try looking for any "Good honest guys on that site." You will find yourself scammed by a broke low life. BEWARE.

I joined because of a discounted service. I cancelled the service because it was no good. I was then charged 5 times the amount for the next cycle, AFTER CANCELLING! Do not join this trash site! They will charge you after you quit with outrageous charges and refuse to allow you to cancel. I have been on the phone with my bank disputing the charges over and over again. This is owned by a Nigerian scammer! Do not join!

Most of the women on this BPM are overweight and are as thirsty for sex as men are. Once had a woman on there lie about the number of kids she had and her figure at the same time. Also, watch out for women that shield their slutty acts with Jesus and Christianity they are sneaky. Its almost impossible to find a woman on there without multiple kids, an EX in prison or a breast tattoo of some sort. If your are an attractive black male also beware of fat over the hill white female trash. Absolutely no intelligent conversations. No man of substance should even type this site in their search engine. TURN BACK!

Most of the women I've met on BPM are fat, ugly and immensely unappealing. They usually have nothing interesting to say and they don't speak English very well. Ghetto is their second language. Slim pickings if you ask me. These women... gheeze. Greasy, fat, exceedingly unattractive. They don't take care of their appearance and expect men to fall at their feet. My advice is to put down the fork and push away from the table. Exercise is your friend. Most have hit the wall.

I'm going to let me subscription expire. I don't plan on returning. The virtual world sucks. Time to get back to dealing with real women. Best of luck fellas!

The men on this sight have disabilities. I swear the guys have cognitive issues and are unable to find someone on their own. They try to look normal in the pics but when u meet them they will appear disable. Don't waste your time or money you'll get hit up all day from creeps out of town. When I first signed up some creep demanded nude pics. I was cussed out because I didn't want to talk to someone out of state. If u wanna pay to just get harassed then sign up today. I'm demanding a refund!

I signed up and paid for 3 mo subscription but can no longer sign in! I tried downloading app multiple times but still cannot gain access. No one to contact or complain to yet I bet they will renew. Something must be done about this ripoff!

And they want to charge you to do almost everything, thus taking away from the full experience. My monthly payment should take care of what I need to do. For BPM to charge me additional to do basic things is ridiculous. And why when I receive a notification that someone message me, must I always log in to see the message; why can't the message itself come through my notification? This site/app, makes the user have to do way too much work for the high monthly fee we have to pay. Offer more for this fee and stop making the user have chase every notification. Visit some of the other dating websites and view their appearance and hey they operate when it comes to paid subscribers/notifications.

I've been on BPM for about a year now. I don't login all the time, but when I do, I'm always disappointed.
The men I've met don't look like their picture, and they're usually shorter than then what they put in their profiles.
I'm gonna discontinue my membership. I found a better site for meeting black singles http://ebonysinglestravel.com They have a unique way of introducing you to black singles by hosting events and trips. I think meeting someone in person is betting than trying your luck with the Internet.

I have used this now for the 3rd time when I have been single and went on actual dates. My experience here has been much better than Match. I tried POF but that site is full of dead fish and scammers. At this moment I'm getting to know someone, let's see how it turns out. For the record it's not the sites fault... its the customers that are jumping from profile to profile, so take your time if someone is really interested. Good luck

My now husband and I saw each other on black people meet back in 2008. The month was March. Previously I was in a situation with someone else where our future together was hopeless.
