This website members and staff are cheaters will take you for what got and what you didn't authorize. Staff is so aweful including management. WOW what a aweful experience never join another dating site again.

Barf is what comes to mind. How can anyone go to a website with a name like this. It is so racist. This website would bring out the worst of people just so they can meet people because of the color of their skin. Absolutely gross idea of anyone interested for this reason. What shade of skin would be dark enough to be on a website like this? How can anyone looking for a decent human being think that another person who selected this site for skin color could be worthy of their time?

Good dating site and absolutely no freakin' clue why everyone's so negative 'bout it. Been a member for 3 months and had a few dates. Site works fine. Blacksingles4u is a good alternative if u havent been lucky on bpm. Worth a try instead of $#*!in' around 'bout bpm.

I agree with what some of the other people wrote as far as unethical business practices. They "automatically renewed" my membership although I didnt authorize it. I have sent numerous emails to their so called Customer Service with no response. I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB as well as they do not have to worry about me using their service ever again! And I will tell all my friends and put on facebook how they do dirty business so do not use their service... IT SUCKS!

They will charge your acct. Even though it is NOT set to automatic renewal. They go to your account, change the status, charge you then refuse to give you a refund. It doesn't matter if there has been no activity in weeks because the site sucks, they just take your money. They are theives!

On day before my subscription was due for renewl, I turned off my auto renewl, then an renewl ad pops up, that u can not remove and would not let me read my email. I email customer service, and for two days no one replied. After finding a good custmer service number, which is hard to find, I called and they would not refund my money. If u do encounter this promblem to read or send any emails either

I found this site to be a huge waste of time. Most of the losers on there are all for sex. They use it as a site to compile women and get laid. Point blank. Beware of James499, real name is Dennis RiversI believe, on there in Smyrna, GA. He's overweight and has nerve to try to guilt women into sex with him. He puts on the front that he's genuine and he loves his daughter, yada yada, yet he uses this site to use women up. I find it funny and pathetic that people have to resort to this type of behavior. I say be careful if you join because I know there have to be some good guys out there somewhere but I think the sifting phase will be long and hard.

Most of the guys on BPM and SBPM are just looking for sex. Both sites are like sex sites. If they say they are legally separated, don't waste your time... they are usually married and cheating. Oh! Watch out for the religious one's and the opportunists. Either they are looking for someone to help them financially, sex is the big one and most of them have ED, liars, or nut cases. The one's who have been on here for years are looking for sex. Both of these sites are a waste of your time, ladies. Just a bunch of losers.

I have tried BPM twice and both times I have been disappointed! Not only are most of the men I saw there fat and not handsome, but they seem to be uneducated too. Also, I found their favorite topic of conversation to be about one thing and one thing only -SEX! For an attractive, well educated woman with a great deal to offer, I found BPM to be a waste of time, money and energy.

I am getting ready to turn them in to the FTC and Better Business Bureau. They charged on my credit card for a 6month membership when I only do month to month! They also send out flirts on my behalf so I have all these messages from men that I wouldn't be interested in. When I wrote on my profile what they are doing they erased it of course! I have heard from other members that they are doing the same thing to. They need to be stopped and or shut down!

This website is super sketchy. I got a reply from a woman who blocked me saying that she was not interested but I never even sent her a message. The only thing I did was added her to my favorites. I even saw other messages that apparently were sent by me but I know clearly they weren't as I don't even speak like how they are worded. This site always says you have"matches" but it's actually people who they recommend to you not people who actually like you back. I feel like this site is not very representative of younger people in their 20's. Waiste of time! I'll stick to meeting people in person as I prefer anyways. If I could give no stars I would.

Cancelled and blocked after a week of paying to use the site for a month, I was trying and testing it. The site exploits black women and men site con artists site. Its a scam I wasn't surprised, Very unattractive site. Save you money time and a headache.

I do not like this site. There is no open chatroom to make it interesting and meet with both genders at once. It is a strange set up. I doubt if you all have hired any black people to help run a black site because this is an extremely boring site that no African American would ever design and pretend its good. It's a site generated robot and this robot site tries to woo and date the women and men- all fake and robotic. It's a waste of money. Horrible idea for a site. It reminds of the the black TV show, "Good Times" where the black people never get out of the ghetto. Horrible site.

Every time I sign on to this site on my iPhone, I am redirected to the Apple Store to buy some game. Checked with Apple and it was confirmed that it is the site. Little privacy. I hate the pop-ups, ads, and especially the redirects... Plus, there is no way to go to an old message without scrolling through pages. Should have option to enter a page number and go directly to that page or enter a user's screen name and pull up all messages to and from that user.

I was on the site for one day, cancelled it because it was trash. There was an issue with the site and it wouldn't allow me to cancel. I sent an email, however never received a response. I reached out again after trying to cancel and someone told me how to go about it. Unbeknownst to me, when you sign up, apparently there is a very fine print that also informs you that you will also be signed up for another dating site for $52.95, and unless you see the fine print and opt out, you will pay for the other site as well. The fact that they would not refund my money after I was unable to cancel because of an issue with their website is shady and unethical. The site is called GirlsDateForFree…ya right! Then refund the $52.95 you charged me for that site I never even saw! DO NOT USE THIS SITE, ITS A RIPOFF!

I have never been apart of anything like this before, but the experience was terrible sorry to be so negative, but alot things I did not understand. Such as the connect did not work when I summons it. Also didn't quite understand the flirt thing either I just thought as a Novice it should have been experience for me, unfortunately it wasn't. Will not be doing another one of the these. I really don't have to but I was curious, but never again...

I, like many, thought bc you pay to be on here, that your options would be better. Not! Where do they get these men from? & I use the term men lightly. And the 1out of ******* that actually can complete a sentence using proper English is located 9700 miles away. All they want to do is troll pictures & send flirts... Never an actual greeting... how old are we? I know everything isn't for everybody, & sadly BPM isn't for me. I so wanted to love this site & find a mature, articulate, settled, stable, sane attractive (even semi attractive) Black Man! Well guess what... BLACK PEOPLE MEET DOESN'T HAVE ANY! GO FIGURE! LOL
But this is just my experience (twice) You have to be your own judge.

Joined BPM a few months ago and in my opinion it is one of the best. Since I started using dating sites I've tried BlackSingles4u, BlackPeopleMeet and BlackCupid. BlackCupid was the only one I did not like that much. Don't know why, just not my type of site. But BPM and BlackSingles4u are really legit. No idea why everyone's throwing s$$$ at BPM. Just my 2cents.

The search engine is extreemly poor, the age is set from 18 to 120, there are no option to change this. There is absolutely no field for search criteria for education and income. I am a 52 yr old busy professional female, its a waste of my time browsing through profiles of men in their 30s, men who are not college educated, does not meet my income requirment and are simply not compatible.

I would give blackpeoplemeet.com a ZERO RATING if the option was available. Black Meet should be called Black People Cheat because the site is full of cheaters that are looking for the next person to lie to. Ladies, there are NOT any single men on Black People Meet. Please, do not waste your money on this site.

Don't waste your time or money. It's a bunch of womanizers and misfit, not to mention men that have medical conditions. I met a guy at Baskin Robbins one evening only to discover he had Touretts when we were standing in line. It was very embarrassing. Narcissist, dementia, stick men, you name it. They should be ashamed. Also, they charged my credit card after I choose to cancel my membership, and got mad when I disputed the charge, and proved it, so charges were removed from my card. That's stealing!

Created a profile and bought a paid membership. Within a few hours, my inbox was packed with a bunch of pointless flirts, with almost every man using the same flirt. Some even had the audacity to use the flirt that said "Great profile" when clearly they never read my profile. I specifically said, 'if you are serious don't send a flirt, as it is lazy. Send me a message in your own words.'

After 2 days, I cancelled the membership to make sure the charge did not recur. This was so very disappointing. All the men do is send those pre-made one line flirts and no one reads your profile. The quality of men is extremely low, and is questionable if any of them can actually string together a sentence comprising of their own words. The oldest looking men always listed their age as 49 or 50, when clearly they had not seen those ages for over 20 or 30 years.

As a novice to online dating, I wasted my money on the worst online dating site in the universe. There is no way any site can be as bad as this one, but after my experience here, I won't be trying any other.
Ladies, please do not waste your money on Black People Meet. Choose another site.
