After rumbling through a few profiles, one stuck out with a question... Do I work for transit? Lol Talking to him was like having a twin sister, we clicked instantly with our personalities, interests in same things, etc. Sometimes you gotta be patient and the right one will find you.
Don't waste your time on this site. All these paid clients have the same old storyline. Save your money, their stories are so similar, their photos are fake, they lie to get the you paying for a subscription. Do your homework concerning this site and most men live hundreds of miles from your location.
The customer support is horrible, the app is horrible and most the members are the lowest of the low. Keep your money and don't join. Its the cesspool of dating sites.
Yes, Black People Meet, Senior Black People Meet, Brother Meet Black People, brother meet a brother and later meet a sister, black brother meet a aunt. Back brother can ya spare a dime for ya time., all of their sister, brother and cousin sites are scams. Their practices are truly deceptive and need to stop.
I am not stating that all of the people advertising their singlehood status is false. So if the ocean kissed the sand in your case, kudos to you and yours. And BPM, et.al. Can't control who signs up for their service.
Have you ever noticed the following:
The moment you decide to end the membership, you get several "fake " flirts? Or, the pricing begins to fluctuate.
Close to the holidays, especially Valentines Day, you get fake flirts--and fake messages.
When you receive messages and respond--the responses are computer generated..., and duplicated. When you pay, the end. No more messages.
I posted a similar message instead of my profile--as I got tired of the fakes--my post was deleted several times. These responses are coming from management, or possibly individuals who are paid to "just respond".
I would love to have all of my money returned as the site is fraudulent. A class action lawsuit would work at best.
Added: There are also notes that I reviewed certain profiles, what a lie! I was shocked when i reviewed these people who I never reviewed. Inside job 4 real.
Tip for consumers:
Save your time and money.
I signed up for 2 months and wasn't very satisfied with the matching system or the availability of new members locally in the Dallas & Ft Worth Metro. The members hardly changed regardless of age group. Most of the views and responses were from members all over the world. If you wanted to meet someone locally; you would get most members in all of Texas or else where. Local members were repeated customers and all they do is view your profile over and over. Very little conversation or communication. Difficult to find real professional applicants or people seeking serious relationship. Just seemed as if most were seeking very little or nothing at all. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. You really pay for what you get. Yes, the membership is cheaper than most; but their is a valid reason. If you have time to waste, go for it! If you seriously seeking something more meaningful, seek else where. Honestly, I would rather pay more and get quality; than pay less and get nothing. There's a saying. "Nothing from nothing, leaves nothing." Peace
I got charged for 6 month membership eventhough I clicked on& signed up for 1 month membership. Very deceiving. Today is dec 4,2016. I'm waiting on their response, Be aware
I am a male writing about Blackpeoplemeet/Blackchristiansmeet sites. Both are connected. My first time on the site I went for the best price per month deal which require subscriber to purchase multiple months at one time. Once you agree to their terms it's contract - a contract is a contract. Last month, still seeking someone I purchased the slightly higher one month only deal, then several days later went into BPM user profile deleting the "automatic" renewal which I didn't ask for, they just defaulted to it. In this way one can be tricked into an ongoing membership.
Anyway, while I can't talk about the men; many of the woman aren't honest about themselves! Some describe themselves as average - yet 4th or fifth picture into their presentation reveal that they are humongous. Others present themselves as young and vibrant - yet when we talked, several of the woman I discovered are decades older. I've blocked two woman users looking for me to invest $ in their dreams, yet I don't know them. Woman - stop taking selfies and other pictures in the bathroom. Tired of seeing bath towels, toilet bowls, shower curtains, soap and toilet tissue rolls. Also, laying across your bed, breast about to come out of your clothes and Kim Kasdashian poses doesn't make a woman appear like a keeper.
BPM with careful discernment has nice people, always the 'best ones are too far away' or on the other side of the country. :) Finally, I'm done with BPM.
Tip for consumers:
When you do use the BPM social meeting site present yourself with focused pictures, with adequate lighting, submit only recent photo, your kids/grand kids shouldn't be in your presentation.
I have to agree with majority of the comments... this site is full of fraud. I wouldn't put any money up but three guys I talked to was AS!&!#LES... UNEDUCATED... ON SSI OR RECOVERING FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE... SMH... NAWWWW KEEP THESE BLACK MEN... IL FIND MINE AT A SUPERMARKET OR GAS STATION... ANYWHERE BUT HERE!
Tip for consumers:
Use real people
... when I tried this site several years ago; and quite frankly, I'm surprised it's still around. The men aren't the only "undesirables" on this site. There are plenty of women that leave much to be desired as well regardless of how they look or their accomplishments. All that glitters is not gold... not by a longshot, especially in the online dating world. Genuinely good women aren't crude or critical or superfiicial or shallow... and you eventually attract what you essentially are underneath the glitter. If you really don't understand the art of romance, then stop trying to meet romantic men; you don't understand them... and if you're a material status girl who knows the price of everything but doesn't know the value of anything, then stop trying to meet "honest men of character"; you don't deserve them and stop wasting OUR time. If you're a woman who hasn't packed her "baggage" away yet, then don't expect to meet the type of man who has... etc. Etc. So after a couple of months of playing online with "girls" of ALL ages, I met the Woman of my dreams the old fashioned way; just being out and about and catching a REAL vibe from a beautiful REAL woman with a genuine heart and a deep sense of community... but without preconceived judgments, delusions of granduer and superficial notions... or an I-phone stuck to her face. LOL
I was on this site for 1 month. I met someone who lives in the same town as me. Well, i sent them a message to contact me on my cell and a few hours later they called, but i had already gone to bed being that it was 9 FREAKIN 30! Anyways, i called them back the next day and they said "im at work let me call you back" and didnt answer w a "hello" just answered and started talking. How RUDE! So im waiting for this person to call me back its been almost 2 days and nothing. I other negative aspect of this site is how soooo many people on there lie about their income ($50,000-$75,000) annually GET SERIOUS! AND 98% of them claim they are a (NON-SMOKER) LIE! I know so many people who smoke and Ive only seem maybe 3 or 4 people on there claiming they are either a "social smoker" and only found one who was a "daily smoker" These people are so so so FAKE. IIm done bye
This site is a scam it takes your money and no results... I been on here before and I thought I would give this a nother try... They have reviews and try two make it look good by saying I found my true love that is fulse... to get u to join. I bet they get rid of this review when they see the real truth... Even the people that works for them are a bunch of foreigners that cant speak English.and they tried to tell me I said something wasn't true. Iam just saying DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAM SITE.
Please refund my money. You require credit card number to reset password. No I do think it is going to happen., Refund *******@sbcglobal.net Wil be contacting BBB
The site itself is easy to navigate and has some nice features. The problem for me was the quality of women is deployable.
I'm a 56-year-old African American male. I am a professional software developer. I am a widower with no children and would rate myself based upon looks as a solid 7. I'm accustomed to dating professional women who most would describe as cute, attractive, intelligent women.
I found that most profiles on BPM weren't creative or complete. Most profiles consisted of headshots only or those with their butts being highlighted. The older women seem to be overweight, unstylish and not very attractive, in my opinion. The younger women seem to be stripper types i e long weave, tattoos and tight clothing. The only real difference between the young and old is that the young haven't gotten fat yet.
I would rate the average woman as a 4 in appearance. The age range that I targeted was 36 through 56.
I looked through hundreds of profiles and honestly did not find one woman that I thought would be worth sending a message. I didn't get the impression that most members are paying subscribers.
There is a man out there that goes by the name of WILDBEARCAT he claims he is single and lives in North Bergen, NJ, he is married and lives in maine, he is a fake! I let blackpeoplemeet.com and they did nothing about it, his profile is active, so women be aware of him, he is nothing but a fake!
Don't used this site they will not cancel you if are a membership they will charge you twice on your credit card I had to cancel my credit card and I had to dispute to get a refund back on my account do not be a membership on this site plus they used Indiana customer service even their Supervisor is from India claim they are here in Texas and they will not help you to cancel and they will charge you 99 dollars to deactivated your account I will notified BBB the best thing for this site is to get a prepaid card just enough they can only take certain amount on the card and transaction will not go through if they keep charging you or dispute it to get your refund back. I would rate them 0 not 1 they don't even deserve a 1
Do not waste your money on this site. Most of the guys are crazy, lazy, bipolar, only looking for sex or woman beaters. Tela22 from Rochester is a nutcase.
I must say I thought it was just another stupid site full of random creepies. I had a free account for months, weird guys lurking on my profile, and I wasn't even fully ready for a relationship when I made an account. I'd just got out of what I thought was my forever relationship of 10 years... actually my mom paid for the site for a month. I had no intentions on finding love on here just a bit of dating fun. The day I subscribed to the site is the day my new love messaged me. I'm currently still with him a year later. We now have a baby and plan to marry later on. And the funny thing which it's really not funny... is that he isn't black. Not that you have to be black on the site but that's kinda the idea to meet fellow black people and I met a white man lol. But love knows no color, sex or age. It wasn't an easy year for us, we almost split, but we pulled thru and we have a lot more happy to experience together. We are better together than apart, and we learned that lesson the hard way. I'm happy with my man and my baby.
You can find love on here when you aren't looking. What you put in is what you get out.
I found myself on this site after being heartbroken yet again. Approaching my mid thirties I was beginning to feel hopeless about ever find that special someone for my life. I had to take a long look inside of me before I could do anything because let's face it, no website can just "give me" the happy life and true mate I sought.
I decided I was going to go for the gusto and began dating this time with vigor and excitement, unlike in the past when I dreaded the experience. The site had a massive amount of single, intellegent and beautiful black women. It wasn't long before I was in the full dating swing of things. Then I had to figure out "how" to date. Once I figured that out, dates came just as frequent but more focused, a lot less wasting time and money. I narrowed it down to just a few and before you know it I had found someone who was perfect for me, and she lived less than five miles from my home.
On July 4th, we were married and today I couldn't be happier. I'm an introvert who has trouble opening up and sometimes I'm even socially awkward. Which would sound weird to anyone who knows me but it's true in the beginning of any relationship I've always been a mess. So just walking up to women has never been my thing. I've done it but never been successful at it.
This site was a blessing. It gave me the venue to say what was on my mind to women I found suitable and the opportunity to get to know them before I actually met them. This is the best site I've ever used. And worth every penny!
I can only warn the ladies as a lady seeing what is on BPM. Please have some common sense. Let me give the breakdown of my experience over a few months. The majority of guys (notice I did not say men) on this site run the same MO. Just the fact you are on this site makes you a target for guys who immediately want to tell you how religious they are, say they are eager to marry, have too many ex-wives and children, talk about sex, their financial woes, ask for additional pictures, send you pictures of them cooking and of other women that they are talking to (letting you know that they are desired by these unsuspecting women that they are clowning), immediately want to make plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas or any significant holiday, that you know is not appropriate when first meeting someone. Use texting as a primary source of communicating vs supplemental in addition to making plans and actually dating you to get to know you. What I have mentioned is the initial checklist and if you decide to proceed with this rubbish behavior, you've been warned. These guys are flash in the pan, pie in the sky guys and run the exact same lame game. You have to do alot of filtering and do not waste more than a week or two after connecting on the phone and run my checklist to proceed with any prospect. Get a google number it's free and sit back and observe. They don't want to act for too long cuz that's too much work for these bottom feeders. My takeawy is this... One guy with this playbook maybe, but multiple guys with the same playbook?
This is a beautiful commercial of Black Men speaking/ commenting on Black Women & what they love about a Black Woman. I SIMPLY Love it. Well done.

A month ago, I Signed up and 'met' someone who expressed mutual interest. Seemed we had alot in common. Agreed to have dinner in a public place 2 wks later. Date was AMAZING! He claimed to be an ex-Navy Seal and claims he was medically retired. I saw no physical reasons as to why he would be medically retired, so I conclude it was due to mental issues. He immediately began displaying strong narcissist behavior - cursing at me, degrading me, accusing me of trying to control him and twisting the blame back to me, then pulled the silent treatment until I called him on the carpet and he told me he doesn't think we should comtact each other or see each other anymore. He also told me not to harass of *******@ck with him and he wished me well. This man is crazy to say the least. HE TOLD ME my last name and I had never mentioned it to him. Claims I came as a suggested FB friend. I believe he looked up every profile on FB of people with my 1st name until he found my picture and boom... there's my last name. He speaks of his naval intel skills and says he knows more about me that I think he does. I did a name search on him and the name he gave me comes up nowhere on the world wide web or any social media sites. Scary part is if he runs my public record, he will then have my address! I checked with BPM and asked if they could give me the name his account is registered under and of course, no reply. This is some scary sh! T! I can't even file a restraining order because I don't know the fools real name! I say my prayers and keep it moving...
Please be careful people.
As a woman new to a town for a career, connecting with eligible men through a dating site is a great way to start a social life. So I joined BlackPeopleMeet because some friends from my hometown were successful in making connections. I joined for free and received a LOT of "messages" that I could not view unless I paid. So after a week, I paid and was inunndated with scores of flirts from unattractive men. Not messages but generic flirts.
I decided to send messages directly to profiles that were marginally okay... looks wise. I received a handful of responses but they were canned and basically identical to one another. After two days of this, I turned off the automatic renewal. The multitude of flirts came to a halt. It has been three days since, and I have receiived no flirts, a dozen views and no messages.
This site is a disappointment. They take your money, do a bait and switch, then no service at all. They shoul at least provide the best service for the subscription time you pay for. They fail to do that as well.
Do not waste your money.
AVOID blackpeoplemeet.com AT ALL COSTS!
They continued to charge me not give me a refund, said I was reaponsible for unsubscribing to something I never didn't sign up for. I KNOW HOW TO READ. I asked to speak with someone else they talked over me and hung up.
I joined the site in march 2013 and talked to a man for a while who ended up being married with children. I then talked to another man who was very attractive had an amazing job but believed a woman should wait on him hand and foot and shouldn't have tattoos in certain places and should do exactly what he said which completely turned me off. Then I talked to a man who I was interested in and he stopped taking to me because he said I wasn't moving quick enough. I took an 8 month break from the site and still had the same crazy men still hiring on me and cussing me out until I responded I also had the same man who said I wasn't moving quick enough try and talk to me again but I wasn't having it. Then a couple days later I met a man who I had a conversation With For A Few days and then we exchanged numbers. We talked for a month before meeting but when we did it was an instant connection. I felt like I had known him forever. Needless to say I'm in love with him and we are moving in together... best money I've ever spent to find the love of my life who I am 100% mentally and physically attracted to... but I must say the men are slim pickings... and are very shallow
I gave this a try and we have to many money hungry black women oh here! And don't even get me started on those ugly fake hair weaves!
It's not my cup of tea stuff keeps popping up its confusing won't let me sign in all the time just really would like a refund please.
Use extreme caution about connecting with dudes on BlackPeopleMeet. Their only reason for being online is to find booty and have sex. These guys are on various websites and they are not the Laid Back, Drama Free, Sincere, I Love the Lord, Caring, God Fearing, Communicative, Honest, Gentleman they claim to be. These guys are romantically involved with other women (and men) but they'll lead you to believe they're not. One should wonder why guys who live in Metropolitan cities where the ratio of women overwhelm men (10:1) result to being online to find a "quality" woman. These dudes meet as many women possible, tell you what you want to hear, and string you along. Listen to your gut feeling and women's intuition when the first red flag appears and dump them; you'll save yourself much disappointment and headaches. LEAVE THE MARRIED GUYS ALONE; the fact that they're still married speaks volumes that they have no morals or do not respect God's sanctity of marriage. They're still married IF they're legally separated and you don't know what emotional turmoil his wife is going through since you'll only hear his version of what supposedly went wrong. You should also know how to run FREE background searches on these guys. A lot of felons and REGISTERED SEX OFFENDERS tried to connect with me - that's right, REGISTERED SEX OFFENDERS! Google their biological and screen names. Please do not let your desperation to have a man in your life overwhelm your common sense.
