After rumbling through a few profiles, one stuck out with a question... Do I work for transit? Lol Talking to him was like having a twin sister, we clicked instantly with our personalities, interests in same things, etc. Sometimes you gotta be patient and the right one will find you.
Don't waste your time on this site. All these paid clients have the same old storyline. Save your money, their stories are so similar, their photos are fake, they lie to get the you paying for a subscription. Do your homework concerning this site and most men live hundreds of miles from your location.
Met my sweetheart on BPM 3yrs ago. I was waiting for my membership to run out and the very last week I received a message. We talked for a month and finally we met. He planned the perfect date. Best date I've been on in all my life. We look forward to spending the future together. We've talked wedding plans. Will keep BPM posted. Don't give up ladies!
Fake flirts to get you to pay. Once you pay... no more flirts. You send messages to people who do not reply. This is likely because they have a free account, which is a tease for both parties. The worst is that the "matching" algorithm has shown profiles of the wrong gender THREE times in two weeks! (I am male seeking female -- I have been shown 3 male profiles).
Tip for consumers:
DONT! Rip-off site.
The site is poor quality first off and its a scam I cancelled my account but it auto renewed twice. I didn't catch the first one but I caught the second. The rep said they didnt receive a request to cancel. Also not many active people on then it gives false alerts and statuses for people. People (new) that have not been on for months. To many free dating sites to pay and nothing is better then the old fashion way.
When you get near the end of your subscription BPM will send you tons of emails and likes from "members". Its all a scam to get you to renew. Look at the profiles carefully, a lot will have the same exact narrative just different photos.
I've tried to cancel my membership, with 3 days left over before the expiration date. The site indicates that I'm a still 'free' member. I try into link back into the site I'm not able to see the prospects unless I opt for the upgrade?!
No one to talk to on the phone all communications by emails only. They do not give refunds if you are unhappy with their service and charges your credit card for renewal when you request no renewal. There is no way to completely remove your card information from there website. Have to didpute with my bank. Would not recommend to anyone.
Tip for consumers:
Expect a lot of emails and no real person to talk with concerning your issues and questions.
Yes beware I checked off for one month subscription but charged $70 for six month instead forget it they won't reply white owned and here is the kicker crazy but the prepaid visa I used there was about $20 money on the card left I learned lol. So whew! It's a freebie after all men sex stalkers broke, serial daters, not looking for anything but sex, so I did meet wonderful man off here, don't join it's bad. Cons, tricks liars, don't ever go isolated or to anyone's house never leave your purse or drink alone, watch your bling. Shut it down... making this couple more rich. Ps don't use your credit card they will continue to bill you which is why I used prepaid visa from CVS... not sure how they forced $70 on that card and yes checked it only had about $20 i uploaded for the one month deal. Crazy. So they gave me 5 months free i deleted profile... I'm in love. Good luck guys Beware.
Black People Meet is nothing more than a $#*!hole "Booty call" center. It is a collection of narcissistic black men incapable of maintaining a meaningful relationship. The ones I talked to were super insecure and only wanted to conversate about themselves. If you are a woman of sustenance: educated, pretty, gainfully employed, well rounded, good natured then you are wasting your time on this site. Wish I could give them zero stars.
If I could add a zero or lesser star rating I would. Nothing but garbage on this site.
Questions aren't designed to weed people out. Also the algorithms never match my search criteria. This site hasn't improved since I first logged on 20 years ago. Just got back on this year and regreted it after the first day. Unattractive, uneducated, unemployed men. Nobody smiles in their profiles. Photos of groups of people or cars or dogs or motorcycles instead of the human who is messaging me. Raise your standards BPM instead of nickel and diming us to death!
All they want is sex. And most will use u. I met one over the phone name Nelson essiet from newark nj. A complete nut case. All he cared about was sex and he's very controlling also. He went by ebonydiamond1. Beware of him!
I have met some nice guys on BPM. I never sign up for more than 30 days and never with my credit/debit cards. I go out and purchase visa/MasterCard gift cards. Child plz. I signed up one month last year and met a well established man. Got to know him and he flew me out twice round trip (he better) and treated me like a queen. I don't know what went wrong but we talked off and on after second visit. Now he's retiring at 52. Bought a big house. Sold his smaller one. Doing everything in his power to get me back but its a wrap. Geminis only play with you for so long. So out of the two times I joined I met like 5 men and had no problem getting their numbers. I been wired money... 2 trips and begging like crazy to see me. One thing I'm not is desperate for a man. I gotten attention all my life. I just gotten out of 22 yr relationship and was desperate. Maybe if alot of u stop lying about ur weight and sending fake pics. U to could get lucky.
Joined for 30 days an all I find on there is a bunch of 2 dollar chicks trying to get fed a meal due to a past broken heart. Most send in 3-4 year old dated pics an some send neck up pics that don't show the bottom of there anatomy which generally means they are obese. Please join eharmony my black brothers as caucasino woman await us on there an plenty of fish as I'm soooo done with these hood rat black woman that don't know there $#*! holes from there elbows..
Don't waste your money on Black People Meet. The men are so cheap they won't spend the money to purchase a membership so they can send messages or chat. They're only there to gawk at women's pics. Many of them claim to have degrees and can't write. If you look at 100 profiles you would be lucky to find 1 or 2 people that you would consider chatting with, Even though it's not as expensive as many of the other dating sites if it was free it still wouldn't be worth your time. When my membership expires I will not renew.

Which is the parent corporate of BPM. Inform them of the situation. And also inform this this is a criminal offense and the next step is to contact the FBI which is legal for you to do because the FBI has a site to post information. The are trying to stop this internet fraud.
Phone number probably not good *******920 probably get the run around.
This is one of the worst sites I've been on, the men are fake or not who they say they are. When you try to cancel they will keep charging you. I have tried this site at least three times over the years but they still have the same faces from years ago. They will not let you cancel. It showed that I had one day left and I went on the site and cancelled, I even sent them a email telling them this will be my last day on the site.
Tip for consumers:
Call please call apple at *******753 if you have a apple phone. Please be aware of scammers that say they are apple.
I decided to join an online dating site for the first time; I should have read the reviews first. When I first joined I had 90 views of my photo, 6 messages, and flirts. The site was also showing where I had flirted with men, this was not true. After I paid for the 1 month subscription all of the messaging, views, and flirts came to an end. I think they generate all of the activity on your profile to get you to spend money; which is a scam. The site needs to be cleaned up and attention given to the false entrapment and false attention given to their subscribers. BPM has the potential to provide a service but, to many false representations from the company, and their subscribers make BPM a bad choice.
I paid for a subscription and still couldn't access the account. When I emailed the so called customer care they said my payment is not showing. Even though I sent them. A copy of the statement from my bank. Total scammers!
How come I was hit with 3 fees somebody pls email and tell me how can I at least get some or all of my money back I was quoted 23.94 and got hit with 71.90 which I don't know what it was for I agreed to pay the 23.94 but where did the 71.90 come from plus help I'm pissed the other fee was 3.99 my email address is *******@aol.com
This is the most racist $#*! since naacp. If there was a white web site like this it would get shut down and the naacp would cause a big deal about it until it got shut down. So this is bull $#*! and out needs to be shut down. And what about white history month! There is not one I wonder why, oh because it would be racist.
I got on the site less than 12 hours go, paid for three months. I cancel membership this morning. Request refund base on safety concerns and guys look creepy. They would refund half, I'm filling with BBB against there business. I wasn't asking for the full amount just partial.
Tip for consumers:
Don't do business with them
I would like to say that I spent 2 weeks on this website and talk to many different guys and found them to be life's rejects. Most have no job, or wanted only sex! However ladies beware a lot of these guys are out to rob or get money out of u and working with females to set u up or make u feel comfortable! One guy on this website wanted to take me out and I met him at the mall. So I did and he had a woman with him, who he said was his sister and he ask me to walk out to his car. He claimed he forgot something, I decided to walk away and they walk out! I later found his profile on Facebook and that lady was his wife... when I reported this to the blackpeoplemeet, I got no response and his profile is still up and running!
I always thought I could tell when something is too good to be true, but sometimes you don't think until it's too late. I met a guy from like Erica who claimed he was unmarried, single, no kids and wanted to have a family. His profile seemed regular and when we talked he seemed respectful and polite so we met. We hit it off and a year down the libe I find out he has a fiancee back in his country of Liberia and he was sending penis pictures, and had multiple sex partners. He just wanted sex and kept going back on the website for more unsuspecting women... his user name was me4u1979 from Easton Pennsylvania, now he resides in Somerset, nj be warned and VERY careful ladies. Fakes run that site, very few seemingly decent guys but more scammers by what I read. Check the grammar used on the profiles...
BPM is your typical dating site. You will have to pay to send messages back and forth if you find someone you are interested in. I was on the site for about 2 days(March 2017) when I decided to message this beautiful woman and to my amazement she wrote back. We sent messages to each other constantly for about a week before we decided to switch over to kik. We had great conversations and was honest with each other early on. I am happy to report that we are building a solid relationship and she's everything that I ever wanted in a partner. I believe in the law of attraction and she was sent to me via BPM. I could never ask for a better woman to spend my life with!
I have been on and off of this site for a couple of years. I have dated several different men and some were really nice guys but no love connection. I have also experienced men who were just on the site for there own gain, but that didn't discouraged me. Within the last year I have been dating a gentleman that I met on the site and hint the word gentleman. My point is sometimes you go through men that are full of the bull but there are some men who are for the right things... You just have to stay positive...
Thank you
Special precious.
I was on the site 5 years ago and thought I met the man of my dreams... got married and found out that he had been married 3 times before he married me, was irresponsible, couldn't do anything but lie about any and everything. I left last year and I am now filing for divorce.
