We've done three rooms with three different types/styles of blinds/shades. All were exactly as ordered, reasonably priced and look fabulous. Working on the next room and will be contacting Blindster for our window coverings
What I thought was a good deal wasn't. The price on their website was decent, so I ordered two small blinds in anticipation to buy more if the quality was good. We'll, after waiting over a month, my blinds were still "in production." Their warehouse must be in China because it would take days to get a response from them, according to their customer service rep. Their customer service is subpar. Takes 24-48 hours to get a response. Their "reviews" must be fake because my experience was horrible. I'd rather go with Lowe's or Home Depot.
Nice blinds. However make all you measurement about 2 inches shorter. Everyone one of mine was 1 bilnd too many. Don't even try using the screws they send. Do your self a favor and go to a hardware store and get yourself good ones. They strip very easy.
Wonderful purchasing experience! There is always a concern when buying on line but it went smoothly and we will be back for more as we update all of our blinds!

Easy to order, came when promised. We made a measurement error! Customer service couldn't have been nicer. They corrected our embarrassing mistake and the delivered product was great. We're very happy with our solar shades!
Installation hardware was not practical. Screws should be flush, but protruded to make tight fit difficult. No hole pre-drilled in base of pull down shade. Plastic securing pin broke on first attachment. One side of blind stringer was untied, had to retread through entire blind manually and re-tie. I expected better.
I ordered four custom sized blinds. One unit had a broken end cap. The replacement part was sent out promptly.
Customer service representatives are very knowledgable and friendly.
I would order from them anytime.
These blinds are a really good deal! Easy to install. Customer service was awesome and very helpful. Only thing I'm kind of bummed about my blinds is it's been several months now and they still don't go all the way to the bottom without hooking them down.
Ordering was easy, wish there would have been more info on the warranty as I wouldn't have purchased it. Order came when promised, have yet to hang them but product looks good and saved me $600 over a dealer in town.
Ordering process was easy but one item ended up being back ordered. I was notified early and given the option to change. This blind ended up being made the incorrect length and I am working to have remade but now it will be 7 or more weeks until the correct item will arrive. Second issue, I ordered tie downs but the shade did not have tie down end caps and my parts did not come with the tie down screws.

They sent samples out right away. Ordering was super simple and the blinds came quickly. Easy to install and look fantastic. Soooooooo much cheaper than any local blind service. I would recommend them to everyone.
Product was exactly as ordered. Self-installation reasonably simple. The solar blinds do everything we wanted, giving privacy and cooling off the lanai. Good quality at a good price. What more can you ask for? Glad we went with Blindster.com.

They told me I ordered the wrong blinds and that was what I am stuck with. I wanted blinds that were top down and/or bottom up and so I got stuck w regular old blinds. I know what I wanted and maybe the error is mine. But, I have no experience ordering blinds. Anyway, I am stuck w same old blinds when I wanted something different. They should probably have handymen in the area that you could call to measure your order and make sure you are getting the right stuff. Paying a little extra just to get the correct order in would have been okay w me. Good price, BUT a big disappointment as far as I was concerned. Customer service? Like I said, FORGET IT!

I am a board member of a 105 year old small historic church that was in need of blinds for 12 windows that all had slightly different sizes. We received a donation to help buy some new blinds and I heard about your company on the Rush Limbaugh radio show. I checked out your website and found your prices miraculously within our budget. We received samples within a few days, made our choice, measured, and ordered them. We received confirmation and updated production information and received our custom cut blinds in what seemed like no time at all. Got our blinds and installed them with a little difficulty because the instructions were rather vague, not specific at all. Since my son is very handy, we figured it out logically. They work nicely, but received some Velcro looking pieces that we aren't sure what they're for- no mention in the instructions. May be for hold downs on windy days? Production took longer than expected in making them, so it took a couple weeks longer than anticipated.
Well, actually only one set, but we paid attention to measuring properly and they fit perfectly, just the right amount of gap, They arrived on time, in good shape and at a competitive price. Quality appears to be good and they do what they were designed to do, keep the sun off of my lilly-white skin.
I have ordered custom blinds from blinster.com, several times or more. This company has gain a very impressive customer services award plus status within my household. This company stands behind their name and goes beyond measures to service their clients needs. I just love them!
Had a large orders the blinds just weren't made with any attention to detail. Customer service has been beyond outstanding and they have quickly resolved all my issues. Did receive one set of blinds that were immaculate so wondering what the issue could have been?

Although the order took far longer than I expected to arrive, I'm thrilled with the purchase! These blinds are amazing, I bought the blackout top down/bottom up, cordless. I finally called to check on the order after not being notified that they had shipped after 20 days. Customer Service was very helpful and explained that they were really backed up production-wise. When they finally arrived about 11 days later, my husband hung them the following day. They're very good at keeping the light out and the cool air in once the AC's shut off in the AM. I absolutely love them and wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again! I'm just waiting for the right sale to finish the upstairs! They will also be so much easier to keep clean than the old standard mini blinds! Well worth the investment!
Took a long time to get someone to install all the contractors were booked.
He tried every way he could to get it to look good. Finally figured it's made wrong I would like to send you pictures to prove my point. Of course I still had to pay him as it wasn't his fault. I have this type window treatment on eight other windows in my house and they are prefect! Will never recommend y'all sorry to say

I purchased 2 bamboo shades in roman shade style with privacy backing. I'm wishing I purchased more! I'm super pleased with the shades and my experience with Blindster. I'm some one who needs the materials in hand to make decisions. Their free samples was a welcome find. I purchased during the Labor Day sale and it really helped bring down the price to quite a deal. I don't remember how long from purchase to unboxing but it was only a couple of weeks. It's helpful to have two people to install as they are a bit awkward. I hung mine as an outside mount 6 inches above the top of my trim so that when they are open all the trim shows and more light come through. They look great and operate smoothly.
Placed Order received order. Several issues one being my own fault as I mismeasured a window. Blindster replaced the order without question and only charged me $15 for shipping. Which I though was more than fair.
There was also an issue with mounting the valances. Think they could improve on that although it would take some effort on their part and a redesign. They are basically a middleman between the buyer and manufacturer so this will not happen.
Lastly when I received the replacement the Vertical shades were warped which caused them to hang with gaps between several of the blinds. I sent pictures to the rep and they sent them on to the manufacture. Blindster is replacing that but all this could be minimized or avoidable in my view. It would just increase cost on the sellers end.
I don't have any background with window coverings but I was a Quality Manager for 35 yrs for large construction, environmental and facility services contracts.
First time using this company after using both 3 day blinds and Blinds.com after a referral from a client. Ordering online was straight forward and product was delivered (later than usual but given Covid understandable). The reason for the 1 star is the customer service AFTERWARDS. Had an issue with one of the blinds over a month ago and still not resolve. You cannot speak to an individual, if you call you get a voicemail that recognizes your phone number which states they will call back but never do. I have sent numerous emails requesting one of the blinds be re-made under their "protection policy" (to which I paid for the extended coverage) and still have not received an response. Not a good first impression to say the least. Extremely disappointed, especially with a decent order size (over $500) as well as potential for many additional orders in the future if there was any indication of this company standing behind their products.
Bought blinds online, only to find out my windows were too narrow for the inside mount. Called to return and order an outside mount and there was absolutely no hassle. I was extremely impressed with the customer service. And the blinds are fantastic too. I love that they give you free sample so you can see how the color looks before you order.
Ordered four of the 'No tools' cordless cellular shades that you hear advertised all over the place. We're very sorry we wasted our time with these. They are NOT easy to install and look pretty cheap and bad! When I called about not being able to install it correctly, I was told, "well you have to use some muscle to get it to click in place". Well, my husband and adult son have plenty of 'muscle' and still couldn't make them look right. We asked for a refund (you have 60 days) and received that, minus 10% fee. You need to provide proof that you've donated them to a charity. Not sure what a charity is going to do with cordless shades with no adhesive brackets... they're still attached to our walls. Now, we have to figure out how to remove those things without too much damage. We ordered blinds from Costco instead. Wish I'd never heard of Blindster.com
Site easy to use. Phone questions answered with little wait. Delivers in reasonable amount of time. Problem is the blind hangs down lower on one side, nut hung straight and checked with a level. Need to call and see what can be done. Not the same quality a a Levelor, blind, but better than big box brands and good price.
