We've done three rooms with three different types/styles of blinds/shades. All were exactly as ordered, reasonably priced and look fabulous. Working on the next room and will be contacting Blindster for our window coverings
What I thought was a good deal wasn't. The price on their website was decent, so I ordered two small blinds in anticipation to buy more if the quality was good. We'll, after waiting over a month, my blinds were still "in production." Their warehouse must be in China because it would take days to get a response from them, according to their customer service rep. Their customer service is subpar. Takes 24-48 hours to get a response. Their "reviews" must be fake because my experience was horrible. I'd rather go with Lowe's or Home Depot.
I contact this company to confirm my measurements BEFORE ordering therefore felt confident I would get what I ordered. Sadly my inside mount shade was too small leaving large gaps on the side! I would've been better off with a standard shade purchased anywhere else. I contacted the company and they claim it's their standard practice to change the measurements at the factory without telling the customer. Also their FIT OR FREE policy means I'd have to pay another fee to fix their mistake. I have spread the word with my friends - Blindster doesn't stand by their products! You're better off elsewhere!
UPDATE: After my above review, I received a call from Blindster to send me the correct shade free. Sadly I had tried to work with them privately over several weeks before sharing my poor customer experience. I've finally received the shade but still won't go back.
All blinds arrivec in good order. Easy to install. Every blind worked as advertised and fit the windows. No problems at all. Blindster kept us informed regarding status and delivery and the product arrived ahead of schedule.
Description matched what was delivered and is of good quality. Delivers blackout as promised and material looks good. Wouldn't mind having two more plastic lifters since the blind is over 40 inches wide. Fit was right on.
We looked at a local blinds/shutter store and they wanted twice as much for the same type of roller shade I found here at Blindster! Our window is a lot larger than a typical window so it needed to be custom. It showed up in two weeks, as promised, the installation was a snap -and looks great! We couldn't be happier with our purchase.
I'm a little disappointed in my blinds. The cellular fabric is very nice. The handles are a VERY poor design though and don't really work. I'm also disappointed in the internal mechanism. They are hard to pull down and louder than other shades I've seen. My mom commented on the noise they make. Between the poor handle design and being hard to pull down it's frustrating. I've thought about videoing them being pulled down and sending it to the company.
I'm sorry you are having a problem. I will call you right away to get this resolved. The shades should move easily and almost without noise.
Awesome company. Blinds were hanging on my windows 2 weeks from the time I first heard of Blindster. Ordered & received samples so I could decide on color, sent measurements, ordered blinds, received finished blinds. All this in only 2 weeks. Size and fit were absolutely perfect. I will be ordering more and recommend Blindster highly!
I purchased two sheer shades from Blindster. At about $600 each ($1,200 for the pair), they were a lot less expensive than Hunter Douglas and so I decided to place the order. The shades arrived and I installed them. Within 10 minutes, the one shade was torn. I have had temporary paper shades that are better quality than this. I complained to Blindster.com who informed me that the sheer shades are one of their premier products and don't fall under the satisfaction guaranteed. Let me say that again. Their premier products don't fall under their satisfactin guarantee. They are offering to replace the torn shade but that means that a few weeks from now, I'll have terrible quality shades with no future satisfaction or quality guarantee. I will never again buy from this company and I strongly recommend that others look elsewhere for their window treatment needs.
I was very impressed with getting a call from a Blindster rep after they received my order. The rep verified my measurements and made sure I had measured correctly. I've previously ordered from another company and didn't get this service. When we received our shutter, we were very happy with the quality and ease of installation.
I now have Blindster Blinds in every room in my house and I will only purchase through Blindster. The quality of the blinds I have purchased is very good and if ever a problem they work very hard and fast to get if fixed. The people in the Customer Service Department are extraordinary! Taking on every concern with the utmost of care. Great prices... absolutely no reason to shop elsewhere!
Blindsters are the superstars, period. The faux wood blinds are the same ones you get for twice the price everywhere else, great quality. One of the blinds I ordered was cut wrong and they told me to keep it and try and use it somewhere else while immediately shipping me the correct one; no charge for anything and took me at my word. Also made in America, which I really like. This company is the best, ten stars!
I called in to reorder the same blinds that my dad had ordered before. He had forgotten what the exact details of the order were so I had to ask Linda. She was above amazing and entertaining when it came to helping me out. It was simple order and not a very long phone call but she absolutely made my day and I felt that I needed to share. First of all, the blinds are great... and we got the budget wood blinds. They do not seem "budget" at all. Secondly, we accidentally sent in the wrong measurements which we didn't realize until after our order arrived. Blindster... FREE OF ANY CHARGES replaced our order with the right sized (even though it was OUR mistake, not theirs). They even let us keep the wrong sized blinds and asked that they be donated (I put them on Craigslist as "FREE" and they were snatched up within a day). We are very happy with the entire experience. Great service and quality. I made mistake and ordered fixed top blinds and customer service was very generous in taking them back and supplying the ones I wanted with very little penalty for my mistake. I really like the cordless up-down feature. Attaching hardware works well and is easy to install.
When we moved into our new house, there were two blinds on the bedroom window instead of one large one. We ordered large blinds for both bedroom windows for more privacy and they are wonderful! Excellent quality, and they fit perfectly! We didn't even have to wait very long for delivery.

I was pleasantly surprised--I was not sure what to expect as the prices were so low especially with the sale that was going on when I ordered my blinds and ordering online for something like this. I have four windows with odd sizes so needed custom sizing. They are beautiful and fit exactly as I ordered. My husband put them up and had no problem with that. The only complaint I have is that they should have been wrapped better for shipping--there was a dent in the top of one of the blinds but it was in a place that was covered by the valance so I did not need to return it. The dent was the fault of UPS as the box was smashed in and torn open--but better packing would have protected it.
Great service and product; however instructions were to measure exactly and send that measurement. We did and the blind had to be squeezed into place between cabinet walls on either side. The width measurement should be actual less 1/2 inch in order to allow 1/4 inch on each side for installation.
I finally received my Blindster Solar shades. Happy with the quality, install process and adjustments. I am happy to report I was able to automate and make these shades smart so that they automatically raise and lower based on time or weather. Happy to provide more info on how to do this for less than $50. Does not require any changes to your motorized shades. *******@gmail.com

There was some confusion with my order but the customer service was on it and made it right even before delivery. They then followed up on a holiday weekend. I couldn't be more pleased. The product is beautiful and high quality
I ordered cellular shades. They are so nice and much better quality than the department store I first looked at. Also, the blinds were less money at blindster. I would order from blindster again. Thumbs up!
I was very please with the (3) Kitchen Cubbard doors they produced. I ordered at the beginning of july, requested expedited shipping and paid extra for it. However, I didn't get the product until until August. I would use this place again if I find the need but would request update on order status sooner.
I recently purchased 23 aluminium mini blinds in a variety of sizes. The blinds were easy to install and cut precisely to my measurements. Shipping was quick without delay. A couple of the blinds had bent slats or bent headrails, however, they were covered by the valances so no complaints. Overall very satisfied with Blindster.
Blindster.com products are made in the USA. That's very important to me. The solar shades I bought were about half the price that I would have paid elsewhere. The customer service was fantastic, courteous, friendly, and helpful. The shades are eliminating the need to turn on the air conditioner. In that regard, they are far exceeding my expectations.
We have a house in which almost all the windows face west and get a ton of sun if the afternoon. Over the past five years I've been slowly purchasing Deluxe Solar Shades for each window. With one exception, I've been extremely pleased with the product and the service. One shade I ordered was too narrow (even though I supplied them with exact measurements to an 1/8th of an inch). They told me they guarantee an 1/8th inch over/under what you request when they make the shades and would not replace it. That was very unfortunately, especially when they state they guarantee their product for a perfect fit. I had to use a bunch of washers to make it work. It's still not quite right.

I'm sorry you got a shade at the wrong size and that you are not happy with our normal policies. All factories in the U.S. make a width deduction on all blinds/shades ordered as inside mount. I will call you to get you a shade at the new size at no charge to you.
