What I thought was a good deal wasn't. The price on their website was decent, so I ordered two small blinds in anticipation to buy more if the quality was good. We'll, after waiting over a month, my blinds were still "in production." Their warehouse must be in China because it would take days to get a response from them, according to their customer service rep. Their customer service is subpar. Takes 24-48 hours to get a response. Their "reviews" must be fake because my experience was horrible. I'd rather go with Lowe's or Home Depot.

The customer service was excellent. The ladies I spoke to were always very helpful and it wa easy to get credit for one blind that didn't fit. The only dissatisfaction was with some of the quality issues. One blind was strung up crooked and the plastic tassles are sort f cheap looking. I also wanted a decorative tape but that isn't an option.

Inside Mount: There are two ways to fasten the mounting bracket to the window frame. Only one way accommodates the end cap lifting mechanism -- the other way interferes. The instructions make no mention of this and necessitated removing the brackets and re-mounting them. The screws supplied were of the slotted variety and too large. They should have been Phillips (easer to install) and slightly shorter. The shade is perfect for the application and works great.

Customer service was great since I ordered during a sale but did not know what color of wood would match. They held my oder till samples came then I emailed them back with the color and my blinds came in a week at the sale price. My husband and I out them up without any issues and the look great!

I went online to order from Blindster.com and it was an efficient website to order from. We received the blinds in the promised time-frame. When we put them up, they look fine. The only issue we have with them is; they dont retract up as others vendor blinds. The cost was reasonable, but its worth the extra money to purchase from other vendors vs saving money through Blindster.com.

No basic instructions were included with my items and I wound up with several unused parts left in the box. The blinds are of good quality and a lot cheaper than what I could have ordered from a local store but the complete lack of any basic instructions diminishes the value. They're good and cheap, but that's the best I can say.

After attempting to order blinds from Blinds To Go, they sent us some of the wrong size and has a no-returns policy. We found blindster, and despite being a bit nervous about ordering blinds online, we were wrong! The ordering process was incredibly easy, and the blinds look great. When my boyfriend put them up, he commented that they were far easier to install than the blinds-to-go ones he had put up already (2 hours to put up 2 sets from BTG, less than that to put up four sets from blindster!)
Every time anyone comes into my home and mentions the blinds I start to gush about how great of an experience Blindster was!

We had planned to make some updates at our church before our upcoming summer events and decided to replace the plastic Imitation "Stain Glass" window covers with blinds.
We contacted Blindster.com and requested samples which we received within 3 business days and placed an order two days after receiving the samples.
The entire turn around time consist of 3 business days for the samples and we received our blinds within an additional 3 business days of placing the order.

The first set of blinds were made short & the header cloth was falling off. A wonderful Customer Service agent named Sandra immediately reordered the entire group & kept me updated by email on the status. The 2nd set arrived & fit much better, but the header material was falling off too. I have decided to just glue them back on myself & kept them. Great service rep (Sandra) but poor quality control especially when they remake them & are told of the cloth falling off issue. I thought more care would be taken to be sure these were done properly.

Blindster staff are extremely helpful. Still, I had to request different mounting brackets for 2 of the 4 blinds. The instructions for top mount are quite clear and the process is easy. Not so for side mount. The directions are confusing. Eventually, the 4 blinds were all hung, but the 2 side mounted blinds can only be held at the preferred height by use of the clip on the side of the window where you can wind the cord. Still, the blinds look great, have solved the glare problem and have helped with the late afternoon extra heat.

After making the rounds at the big box home improvement stores and 3-day blinds, and not liking the prices nor the lack of service, I heard a radio ad for blindster.com.

Blindster was having a 30% off sale that was almost over, so when I called them I explained that I had ordered samples and was in the midst of measuring each of my 24 windows and was worried that I wouldn't be able to get my samples in time to place my order before the sale ended.

Kim at Blindster was very helpful by saying I could place my order with instructions to hold it until I had decided which colors I wanted. Carla also from Blindster followed up by phone a few times to make sure any questions I had were answered. My shades arrived as expected and I've been very happy with them.

My friend was so impressed with my experience that he ordered shades for his home too.

Receive my order in a timely manner. One of my blinds was damaged, called the company and spoke to customer service rep. He told me to send a picture of the damage which I did. Made a another call to see if they received the pictures. The customer service rep took care of everything. I received a new replacement blind within a week. These windows are not accessible from floor but able to control tilt with step ladder. Had previously ordered 2 blinds for doors. Great quality & looks very nice. Blindster prices were very reasonable compared to other online blind companies. Online ordering was a bit difficult & site was not as user friendly as others. When blinds arrived & we were installing, we found they were not cut to the specific size we ordered. Ship time was good. Quality of blinds poor.

Yes the warranty is life time, however in comparing to the levolor blinds I have had for years Blindster does not seem as well constructed. Also the original shipment came with the wrong size mounting attachments so that was one phone call, also they did not ship the cord wraps so that was another call. The initial cost was less than others so it is OK for the smaller window as I don't use it very often. Not saying I would not order again but would pause.

1 of 3 shades came in with manufacturing defects. I called and they said it must be in shipping but the box was not damaged and one of the two flaws was the blackout covering was missing a small area that I have trouble believing it was shipping.
However, they sent another one without a fuss that was flawless and the room is now dark for my little guy.

Both of the last two blinds we received have a problem with the wand closing the slats all the way. When the wand gets to a certain point there is a clicking sound like it can't go any further. We have contacted customer service and as soon as we can get some pictures we will send them to Linda.

I ordered 7 shades for different rooms in my place. One shade came broken. From all of them I was only able to install 3 but I had to get different brackets to make it work. I had to ask for a remake on the other 4 and pay extra for delivery and one shade. After giving them the exact measurements for each window the second time came also 1/4" smaller and since they're inside mount any difference will make it hard to install. Since the y only have a 3 shade remake for free I wasn't able to complain again.
Never using this company again

The only thing I was unhappy about was the hidden cost of choosing the most popular wood color (oak) - $10 more for that color! They get you there! Not nice. No reason, as far as I can see, for the MOST POPULAR color to cost you more! I would have given them a 5-star rating except for that.

Liked everything except the screws provided. They were VERY soft. They striped our half way home. I had to back them out with a plier in order to get a replacement home. (I was installing into pine not hard wood). If you are installing into anything more dense than a bar of soap, I definitely recommend a pilot hole. These screws are softer than brass!
