We've done three rooms with three different types/styles of blinds/shades. All were exactly as ordered, reasonably priced and look fabulous. Working on the next room and will be contacting Blindster for our window coverings
What I thought was a good deal wasn't. The price on their website was decent, so I ordered two small blinds in anticipation to buy more if the quality was good. We'll, after waiting over a month, my blinds were still "in production." Their warehouse must be in China because it would take days to get a response from them, according to their customer service rep. Their customer service is subpar. Takes 24-48 hours to get a response. Their "reviews" must be fake because my experience was horrible. I'd rather go with Lowe's or Home Depot.
You never know what to expect when you are somewhat blindly trusting an online window covering store. Will this measuring thing actually work or will I get a blind that just doesn't fit? The process was easy and when the blind was received, it fit the very first time and looks great. This has been on my "honey do list" for a long time. I surprised my wife and I look like a hero. Blindster has been great to work with and the guarantee that it will fit the first time gave me the confidence to go ahead with them. Highly recommended!
This was my first experience not only dealing with Blindster but also purchasing blinds online, and it couldn't have gone any better. Blindster kept me posted on the progress of my order and it arrived in a very reasonable amount of time.
In addition, the Blindster blinds arrived securely packaged, included all appropriate hardware, a nice header piece with clips and fit perfectly.
I am very pleased with this purchase and would not hesitate to shop Blindster again.
One of the blinds we ordered had a malfunctioning pulley. I emailed Blindster and received a quick follow up phone call. The customer service representative asked me for my order number and window number and she said they'd cut a new one and send it out right away. No need to mail the defective one back. Sure enough a replacement came in the mail a week later and that was that. Couldn't ask for a better replacement policy.
I like the set of blinds that I received. Two days ago I attempted to order some more samples. The web site will not let me progress to placing an order. It wants me to sign in rather than simply enter my name and address. I will try to call.
Ordering was easy. All the parts arrived intact. The blinds were mounted with relative ease. They look lovely. My only complaint would be lack of printed mounting instructions with the blinds. The instructions were available online, and I used them, but I would have preferred a printed copy for convenience.
I was really undecided about spending +$40 per blind when I'm accustomed to purchasing cheap blinds and throwing them away as needed. I purchased 2 blinds to start with to make sure I was happy with them. I am! I've already ordered 3 more. I know I could save a little by purchasing them all together but I'm purchasing a few at a time and loving them more each day.
Arrived well packaged with extra cushioning. I highly recommend Blindster. The price was a fraction of what a local estimate was, so it was a great savings. I was very pleased that, although price was less, the quality was great. This particular blind also had option of having all controls
On right, and this option makes it easier to reach for this particular window. All in all, I am pleased.
I ordered a $200+ blind from blindster.com. When it arrived it was 1.75" too short on one side and 2.75" on the other. After 2 notes to blindster customer service carefully explaining that the blind is simply too short AND crooked, all I receive are form type notes explaining how how to "adjust" the blinds. STAY AWAY.
We ordered samples of different colors and they arrived quickly. When we received the three blinds that we ordered and everything was has expected.
We had to go online for more complete instructions for installation but that was OK. Then all was well. We are very happy with our purchase.
Ordered two sets of vertical blinds, they arrived early, and after installing the first set, they fit perfectly. On attempting to install the second set, discovered that the headrail that holds the blinds was damaged and the blinds would not close all the way. Got in touch with the company, sent pictures of damage at their request and received a new headrail in a very short time. Fantastic service, very well made and beautiful product. Highly recommend this company and their product!
I ordered with dimensions. The blind arrived in good shape and color was as I wanted. I hung the kind holders only to find that the blind was cut 1/2 shorter than the dimension I gave. Rather than send back, I unscrewed the holders and red crewed them in 1/4 inch shorter and the blind went in w/o further issue. So it is good now. I would just say to whomever is cutting blinds for customer is use the dimensions given to you.
We have placed several separate orders w/ Bindster as we slowly replace all the blinds in our home. All orders arrived as requested. At one point we ordered the wrong color and Blindster was very helpful in helping us swap them out for the different color. I would recommend this company and will continue to do business with them.
I ordered plantation shutters online and the process was pretty easy. I got a follow-up call to clarify a few things -- they wanted to get it right the first time. The shutters arrived on time and were pretty easy to install. We are so pleased with the way they look and fit! Wonderful experience. If we decide to order more, I'll definitely go with Blindster.
Order was split because you ran out of material. You made 2 of 4 shades and shipped them then told me about it. I had no chance to change to a different material. Now you say the remainder of the order was shipped, but you did not supply any tracking info, and you have not answered my email requests for tracking info. I am getting concerned! Where are my shades?
Update: shipment promised 2 days ago. My emails have been answered with excuses. Still no shades and not even tracking info. Even after it was promised days ago. Not the best service. We will see.
I have a dozen windows that needed blinds and they were all custom sizes. I got a quote from a reputable blind installation company and the estimate started at $2800. 00! For the same 'wood' 2" blinds with valance Blindster was $480.00! All I had to do was open the box and install. It was easy and the blinds look amazing.
My wife had to have shades with the wavey bottom and fringe. We purchased some like this over 20 years ago elsewhere and cannot find anyone who carries them now. That is until I discovered Blindster.com. Thus far we have purchased 5 and have 6 or 7 to go (spacing out due to our budget) and my wife is a 100% happy customer; so that makes me a happy customer too.
I am a contractor by trade so I know how to measure windows for fitting things such as blinds. This is a 101 type of thing to do. My disappointment is getting the blinds 1/8" larger then the opening I measured. It is stated that the deduction is taken into account for proper fit, but that was not the case with 2 of my orders. Lucky for me I was able to alter the opening in order to fit the blinds so I didnt have to return them. Your people at Blindster.com need to pay attention to what they are doing when they are making the final product. Next time if there is one I will make sure I deduct just a little more so this is not an issue again.
We changed all our window shades from traditional slated type to cellular shades. After ordering first set as we were not familiar with Blinderster, we were very impressed with ease of ordering and customer service was great with a few basic questions I had. Shades were delivered promptly after being notified they were being shipped. Shades fit exactly as we measured and installation was easy. We since have ordered 7 additional shades in various sizes. After completing a very easy installation, I noticed some broken threads on one set of blinds, I called Blindster and left a message. I received a return phone call within the hour. I explained my problem, they asked me to take a picture and send it to them. I sent the picture and within a very short time had an e-mail saying a new set was on the way! Done, problem solved. I am very pleased and will be ordering from Blindster again very soon.
Working w/ Blindster to order a mini-blind that we needed for our newly-renovated bathroom was an absolutely stellar experience! The directions for how to measure for the inside-mount blind was very easy to follow & led to a perfect fit for our window (I was worried about measuring correctly, but the directions were spot-on). I ordered 3 free blind color samples, which arrived quickly at our home. After choosing the color, ordering the blind was totally easy. Next, the blind arrived quickly at our home, had everything we needed & was easy to install. I will always work w/ Blindster for our future blind needs!
So happy with our new solar blinds. We placed them in our new all weather room and they are absolutely perfect. We have wood blinds in the remainder of the house and I'm thinking about placing solar blinds over them in the front which receives the very hot afternoon sun. Currently, we have large solar shades on our front porch and it truly makes a difference! Again, these solar blinds are wonderful and thanks for such a great purchasing experience!
My windows are in a contemporary house and are wide and short vs. traditional windows that are tall and narrow. I had no problem with measuring and ordering my blinds. We opened one box and installed one tentatively since we weren't sure how they would come out and thought for sure would have to return them. However, we were wrong and Blindster.com came through. They were the easiest part of my home remodel so far!
We ordered Premium Faux Wood Blinds for several window openings - a total of 10 blinds. They arrived within the promised time and all hardware was complete. Some of the blinds required make overs due to my measurement discrepancies. There was also one blind that arrived longer than ordered. All remakes arrived promptly and I paid freight charges on the ones that resulted from my error. I did not have to return any of the blinds.
I ordered a faux wood blind from Blindster for my kitchen window. It was as easy as Measure enter measurements and order. Not only was the blind the lowest price I could find that it was also excellent quality. It also arrived when it was supposed to. I am extremely pleased and even told a friend who ordered some faux wood blinds from Blindster and was also as thrilled as I was. To anyone that's thinking about ordering blinds don't look anywhere else this is the best quality and Best price you'll find. A big thumbs up!
Great company with outstanding products. I mis-measured one of my ordered blinds, and when it aarived and didn't fit I called them. I told them that the error was mine and not theirs, but they insisted that they have a policy, where, " it fits or its free" So for $15 for handling and shipping they made me a new blind that works great. The factory did make your remaining 2 shades and held them to ship after the first of the year per your instructions. Yesterday, 1/3 was the first day this factory worked and we are expecting the order to ship today. I will send you the tracking information as soon as it is available.
