We've done three rooms with three different types/styles of blinds/shades. All were exactly as ordered, reasonably priced and look fabulous. Working on the next room and will be contacting Blindster for our window coverings
What I thought was a good deal wasn't. The price on their website was decent, so I ordered two small blinds in anticipation to buy more if the quality was good. We'll, after waiting over a month, my blinds were still "in production." Their warehouse must be in China because it would take days to get a response from them, according to their customer service rep. Their customer service is subpar. Takes 24-48 hours to get a response. Their "reviews" must be fake because my experience was horrible. I'd rather go with Lowe's or Home Depot.
Pros: Easy to order, great price, pretty good quality for the price, timely shipping, easy to install, love the crown molding...
Cons: Came with no instructions, even though they are easy to install, the was a little piece that we had no idea what it was for. Nothing on the website either.
I needed blinds for my office to replace some old nasty ones. I measured the windows. Jumped on the site and ordered the windows. When they came they were a perfect fit.
I didn't have to stop what I was doing and go to a big box store. It was as advertised.
We recently did our whole house with Blindster blinds. We found them to be a little too short, and will not stay down. The up and down blinds open at the top when pulling them all the way down, even when pulled very slowly and gently. We did not have this problem with the one blind we bought from another company.
We love them. The only problem that we had was wrong size, but they were very prompt to fix that by sending replacements right away. The others that were not the wrong size fit like a glove and work very well. Thank you so much.
I was really excited when we ordered and received these shades in the mail. We'be had them up for about a month now and I'm honestly sad to say that I'm a little disappointed in how they draw up. We bought two for two extra wide windows in our bedroom and when I go to open them it's almost like they won't make it all the way up... as though it's too heavy. I have to push it up very slowly and sort of fold it in. I wonder how long it will be before they aren't strong enough to open up all the way :/. I am also disappointed in how it lays when only half open - they're crooked. And I had them installed by a contractor who I trust as is very meticulous. Other than that they're very pretty and I love the way they look. It's the mechanics of them that I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed with.
The blinds turned out looking great after Blindster had to remake the order when Fedex lost the first shipment. The second set showed up slightly damaged (Fedex AGAIN) but at this point, we worked on them to get them to work instead of raising another issue that would make further delays.
Communication with Blindster was great and we're happy with the product.
This was the first and only purchase I had put on this credit card so I am sure that my information was stolen after purchasing blinds from this site. The quality of the product was good, however I will not be purchasing anything else from this company due to poor security with their handling of credit card information.
We ordered faux wood blinds, and duette shades. Customer service checked with us twice before fulfilling the order, to make sure our measurements were correct. If they hadn't we would have ordered incorrectly. Products are quality.
I ordered 7 blinds and when they arrived one did not fit due to an error that I made measuring. A second blind had a flaw with the tilt mechanism. Both blinds were promptly replaced and both were fine. I only had to pay the $15 shipping fee for the one that I gave incorrect measurements.
We recently ordered several light blocking top down, bottom up cordless blinds. We are very pleased with the product for the money. The lines really do block the light and the blinds move up and down very smoothly. Several of the packages arrived broken open and were missing hardware- Fed Ex's fault, not Blinster's. The customer service was excellent, and they shipped the missing parts out immediately. The only thing I would advise is to add 1/4 to 1/2 inches to your horizontal measurement. The blinds were a pinch too narrow for the windows, but overall a great product.
Ordered 12 shades. Delivered marked with each window size, 4 were same size, but only one fit the others were about 1/16th too wide. They wouldn't replace them because I spent over $1000. 00. Now I'm stuck with all these shades. The brackets need to be improved also. NOT HAPPY!

It is true that the orders is not returnable for refund under our Satisfaction Guarantee because it totals more than $1,000. If the factory made a mistake and the size is incorrect than we will remake the shades to the correct size at no charge. If the sizes need to change then we can do it under our Fit or Free Policy.

The cellular, vertical and 2 inch slant blinds that I ordered were as exactally as I hoped they would be. Excellent quality. Delivery was on time. Definatley have been recommending Blindster to friends.
We ordered the blinds and was told to expect about a 10 day to 2 week delivery including building the blinds. Received blinds after some two MONTHS had passed. Was not even told about part of the order being backordered until I made an inquiry as to where our order was. Someone should have notified us.

The blinds are good quality. It seems the measurements submitted are adjust a bit too much to allow clearance from the window frame as of the 5 I ordered all of them are just a bit too narrow for the window. My only other not 100% satisfaction is probably just a difference of description. I thought I was ordering a color that is light blue but actually turned out very pale with a mint tint. When they are all the way open they look mint green when partially open, scrunched together they do have more of a blue hue.
We are very happy and satisfied with our solar shade. We sent our measurements to the company and it fits perfectly. Our bay window faces west, the room would get beastly hot and the air conditioner worked overtime. With the shade we are able to enjoy the room once more. We are so happy, wish we had invested in this sooner. I would recommend Blindster.com to everyone.
We were very pleased when Customer Service Rep Daniel told us our 5 remakes would receive "rush" status, and we received 4 of them in a timely manner. The 5th one, which was due to a Blindster manufacturing flaw, however, didn't show up in over a month, so I emailed for an explanation. A different CSR (Cindy) researched the order and found out it had not even been placed. I am also pleased that I didn't have to return the flawed blinds but could donate them to a charity. We are donating them to Habitat for Humanity.
The advertised timeline was not met, no instructions sent with the product, shipped as two different orders arriving a week apart, wrong size on one blind causing another delay with project completion, the replacement blind arrived damaged, no correspondence as declared by an associate who went on vacation without taking care of the promised return phone call. For Petes sake my name isn't even correct in the request for this survey. Not surprised.
Product arrived as promised, I had my tenant measure, not again. Have they been measured correctly the blinds would've been awesome, even so theyre still great... the free replacement wasn't quite free, but the discount was better than starting over with a new order.
Blinds are great. So 5 stars for them. Hardware ( mounting screws) cheap Chinese $#*!, stripped out by power driver (all bits, all speeds) need better. Drywall screws work better. Oi! Lousy instructions! But great blinds at a fair price-what can I say? Local advertiser (KFI) did not return phone calls asking for Blindster contact.
Installed these blinds in 2 rental homes. So much better than the plastic ready made blinds I had bought last year. These are aluminum and I'm confident they will withstand tenant use much better than the plastic ones. They were easy to install, were delivered to my door and actually cost less than the ready made plastic ones. I'm sold on blindster.com.
I made sure that I had all of my measurements exact before I placed my order. The order arrived on my doorstep exactly when Blindster said it would. Customer Service answered every question I had before I placed my order, and putting up my new roman shade took 10 minutes. When and if I need to replace this new blind rest assured that I will be ordering from Blindster.com again!
We ordered 4 blinds, and one was delivered defective. We did not realize it was defective until it was already installed. I called Blindster to order a remake, but I was not given a delivery timeline. When I called back a week later to follow up, the manager was unable to offer any sort of guess as to the delivery timeline due to the "skeleton crew" working over the holidays. We now have a broken, inoperable blind hanging up in our home and no idea when the replacement will be delivered. Per the manager, it could be as much as 4 weeks after the reorder was placed. I understand that mistakes happen, but I'm really dissatisfied with how slowly the replacement process moves. This was the second large order I'd placed with Blindster, and I am generally pleased with their products, but if there is any issue with the product, the resolution is frustrating.
These are beautiful, high-quality blinds and the price was great. They arrived about 6-8 days later than expected, and the tracking info on the site hadn't been updated. Wasn't a big deal for us, but worth noting.
Every blind fit perfectly. My neighbors and I were all affected by a flood in March 2016. I have told them all about my experience with Blindster, and they have all placed orders! Super happy with my choice! I did my entire house for less than $400.00.
We had all but the sliding glass door covered and the Blindster option was quick and painless.

I will contact you to get this resolved. It sounds like you need to reset the "motors" (pulley system) in the headrail. This is very easy and works most of the time. If the reset doesn't work we will remake the shades that are giving you problems.
