We've done three rooms with three different types/styles of blinds/shades. All were exactly as ordered, reasonably priced and look fabulous. Working on the next room and will be contacting Blindster for our window coverings
What I thought was a good deal wasn't. The price on their website was decent, so I ordered two small blinds in anticipation to buy more if the quality was good. We'll, after waiting over a month, my blinds were still "in production." Their warehouse must be in China because it would take days to get a response from them, according to their customer service rep. Their customer service is subpar. Takes 24-48 hours to get a response. Their "reviews" must be fake because my experience was horrible. I'd rather go with Lowe's or Home Depot.
We ordered cellular blinds for a large home in the year 2015. Now, in 2021, we ordered cellular blinds for a small home. We did not know the material had changed so much that they made the 2021 blinds with. We measured too short, this time, because this material is entirely different. Unfortunately, they do not make the blinds with the material they had in 2015. Patricia is a wonderful lady who will help you all the way to rectify your issues. She is pleasant to work with and does not play games. If you order, ask for her. She is the reason I am giving Blindster 4 stars. Otherwise, when you call Blindster, you never get a real person on the phone and when they who call back are not warm or friendly like Patricia. One kept repeating that she is there to help me and took too many calls to rectify issues. I do not know if Blindster has changed hands since 2015, but they are extremely lucky to have Patricia.
I was relying on timely production and shipping so I could have the blinds installed by a certain date. Unfortunately production was delayed about a week. I did request expedited shipping to somewhat compensate for the time lost but they weren't able to grant me that either.
Excellent. I was skeptical but found I had no reason to be. The order-process was simple. In fact, I suspected I may have made an error in measuring, added a note about it in the "Comments" box during order placement, and very quickly got a call from Blinsters.com customer service AND their production department. They confirmed that I did err but stated that they understood and would easily reenter the correct length. They did and I received a perfectly fitting set of 8 ft vertical blinds. I will buy again from Blindster.com!
After checking other sites I selected Blindster.com. I ordered several sample fabrics which arrived promptly and this took the guesswork out of which fabric to order. The order process was easy thanks to helpful, detailed info on the website. The price was very reasonable and the order was shipped and received on time. Installation was made easy, again, by the excellent website instructions. From now on all our blinds will be ordered from Blindster.com!
I accidentally placed a duplicate order and was not aware until delivery and subsequent opening of the boxes. I contacted Blindster customer service and the representative was very helpful and gracious to explain all options for return and refund. I donated the blinds and received an expeditious refund after I provided a copy of the donation receipt. Outstanding opportunity for community donation and still received a refund less 10% plus processing fee. Great idea, great customer service.
The fact you can have your blinds custom made is great! All we had to do is submit our measurements to Blindster, pick the material and order on their website. You can order free swatches to choose the color, style, and openness. We went with Premium Solar Shades 1 Percent Openness. They shipped quickly considering they were special order, and the is price better than what we found locally. At 1 Percent they aren't blackout blinds, but we like being able to see outside to the backyard which is fairly secluded. They do offer blackout blinds if you are looking for that option. They were easy to install and we are considering ordering the blinds for other windows in the house. We are very happy with our online purchase. Thanks Blindster!
I purchased Blindster wood blinds for Kitchen and laundry, and cellular shades for
3 bathrooms. The blinds are lightweight and easy to raise and lower, color is mocha and such a warm tone, perfect match to my kitchen. The cellular shades block light and heat, raise and lower with no cords... I love them! I followed Blindster's instructions for measuring and all fit perfectly. You can't beat the quality and the price!
After having a couple of faulty issues with blinds from Blindster, I wrote a complaint here. I was very pleasantly surprised that Blindster contacted me and refunded our monies. That goes a long way with me. Thank you, Blindster. We will do business with you again.
I'm sorry you are having problems. I don't believe I have the correct information for your order, there was no indication that you had called us to replace your defective shades. All of our products are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. I will call you right away to get this resolved.

Customer service was great. I received my faux wood blinds but I preferred the valance to be a bit longer. I called customer service and they were very happy to accommodate my request. This is my second time ordering blinds from them and will recommend them.
The routless blinds that I ordered do not stay connected to the opening & closing cord in the back of each slat. I would not recommend this style because the slats frequently become disconnected and look uneven.

Routeless blinds are not for everyone. They do shift when opened and closed which means they don't work well when mounted outside the window.

5 sun blades came in wrong size. Blindster re-order all 5 five, but I had to pay $15 for each one totaling $75. Although they honored to replace, Customer Service should not have charged $75 for, it is totally their fault for sending wrong size canvas

I see from our correspondence that you had the problem with your outside mounted shades. Roller Shades are always ordered with the width of the widest part of the shade which is at the top where the mechanisms are located. The fabric will be 1" to 1 1/2" narrower than the ordered width. I see that you have been working with Whitney on your order. Thank you for your understanding.
We had the old white plastic blinds thinking buying the wood blinds wood be way to expensive. We happened on to the site when you were offering 25% off and that was close enough to the price of the crappy blinds for us. We had our blinds delivered within two weeks and they fit perfectly! They look so awesome from the inside and outside of the house! Could not be happier with them. The instructions on measuring for the blinds was well explained and they were really easy to install as well. We will definitely come back as we replace the rest of the blinds in the house.
I was very excited to find Blindster.com. We were able to order the exact sizes we needed, and throw away the cheap faded plastic blinds. The new metal blinds were a perfect fit, and have a shiny gloss that looks great.
Ordered 2 split roman shades and 2 single shades. Single shades are not to bad and seem to work well, Look cheap however. The larger shades that are split, the stings break, the pulley systems are very cheap and you have to pull them down by hand as the mechanism keep locking up no matter where you put it. Plus they do not provide a hanging piece of material down so the top shows the whole shade. My recommendation, order smaller single shades. Bigger ones do not work well. They have a warranty, but really how do you return and have to take your time to take down and replace. Look else where first, make Blindster your last look. I have no dispute, just my observation and will deal with the customer service on my own.

I am so pleased with my purchase and the speed with which it was handled. The blinds fit perfectly! I didn't have to cut them off myself which was wonderful. I plan to place another order in the near future. I recommend this company and site to anyone.

I had excellent service when I called to order shutters the representative was very helpful and had lots of patience with me. The order came earlier than I expected and everything fit as it should when I installed my new shutters. They look great and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Blindster to anyone.
The order of about 36 blinds was exactly right. A few imperfections in 4 of the blinds was immediately taken care of with new shipment of those 4 blinds at no cost to me. Plus they replaced some valances that I measured incorrectly at no cost. Very satisfied!
The directions on the website were very clear. When I did call my question was answered quickly and clearly.
My blinds came and they fit PERFECTLY! Most of all, when they are completely closed they don't let in hardly any light-great for the AZ sun.

I ordered three different products (blinds, shades and honeycomb blinds) and received two of the three as described. The roller shades have been a major problem. Initially I was shipped someone else's roller blinds and when this was reported replacements were fabricated and shipped. The replacements were not fabricated as ordered (too narrow) and now 12 days later I have still not received correctly fabricated shades. I am currently waiting for a return call from customer service to cancel these shades and obtain a refund. Wish me luck...

I ordered 1 set of blinds. Width 45 inches, length 28 inches. I assumed they were correct and mounted them to frame. They were not. I ended up with a length of 48 inches. These are a back bedroom blinds so I decided not to go through the hassle of returning and waiting again. I did report this at the time. This was only 2 measurements - length and width!

Blindster is a good site and you will save money. However these are not high quality blinds. Some of the installation hardware was missing and one of the blinds would not retract so I took it apart and repaired it myself. The top of the blind is covered with a sticker which keeps delaminating from the bottom. Overall I'm happy with the price but don't expect high quality.
Purchased a large room darkening shade from blindster. After I had it installed and rolled it down it had a seam in the middle. Not a subtle seam but a sewn butt seam with about 1" of both pieces sticking out which make a lump (and a sound) when it rolls uo and down. And it look like crap with the seam across the middle. Also light comes in through the needle holes in the seam. I sent them a video of the shade rolling down and the lump is so bad they thought the motor was defective and sent me a new motor. They did offer me a refund if I take the shade down and donate it to goodwill. Then I still have no shade and am out what it cost to have it installed. In their defense, the fine print on the web site (in my opinion somewhat hidden) did say that larger shades may be seamed but I expected more for $485!
This is my second order from Blindster and I am very pleased with the new shades. This time I ordered the 3% Open with 97% sun block. There is still visibility to the outside which I like. The blinds came within two weeks from my order and are easily installed. Thanks Blindster!
