We've done three rooms with three different types/styles of blinds/shades. All were exactly as ordered, reasonably priced and look fabulous. Working on the next room and will be contacting Blindster for our window coverings
What I thought was a good deal wasn't. The price on their website was decent, so I ordered two small blinds in anticipation to buy more if the quality was good. We'll, after waiting over a month, my blinds were still "in production." Their warehouse must be in China because it would take days to get a response from them, according to their customer service rep. Their customer service is subpar. Takes 24-48 hours to get a response. Their "reviews" must be fake because my experience was horrible. I'd rather go with Lowe's or Home Depot.
The customer service was excellent. Blinds were received in about a week. The overall mechanics of these blinds is far superior to what we have purchased in big box stores in the past and I love that we are supporting a private business. If you want the best experience in purchasing blinds for any room, look no further!
Due to a remodeling delay, we did not open our blinds until the 60 day return window had passed. The blinds were 1/2" short of the measurement I provided, metal brackets were visible, the header was almost three inches tall, and the blind material was another 1/4" short of the frame leaving an almost 3/4" gap on both sides. When I requested permission to return past the 60 day window, they offered me more blinds at 50% off. No thanks!

Did not send blinds to my measurements and proceeded to tell me I didn't know what I was doing. I got a refund minus 10% and don't plan on dealing with Blindster ever again. I've told many people about my experience.
Such an easy experience. Chose this site after much research. So much information available on the site... including installation information, etc. Loved the free color samples. That allowed me to be able to choose what is best for my new kitchen!
Measured, twice and placed my order on line. Received confirmation. Received email confirming blinds had been cut and shipped. Received blinds in about 3 days after. Easy install. Changed the whole appearance of my bathroom. Will be placing future orders soon.
I had an issue with my order that was solely my own fault. I hesitated a week before calling as I had convinced myself I had no recourse. However, my problem was quickly and cheerfully corrected by a five-minute phone call to a customer service rep. I have dealt with a number of online companies, including a competitor, and never have I been more pleased. I would highly recommend this company and it appears they have a good product, even at the entry level.
This was my second order from blindster. Quality-wise, after two orders with several blinds, they haven't disappointed me yet! I had an issue with one of the cordless blinds in this order not working correctly. They sent me a new blind without an issue, and it didn't work either. After much trial and error, we figured out the problem and blindster took care of the issue until the blind was working. Turns out, the wrong button was installed. (They also offered a refund, but I wanted to blind to work!) EXCELLENT JOB! And absolutely wonderful customer service! I'll definitely recommend blindster to ANYONE. Fabulous products, decent prices and great customer service!
Ordered three more cellular shades for the dining room, each window a different width by fractions of an inch for some reason, and they arrived in less than two weeks and each fits exactly as expected. Looks great in that room now. I have about six more windows that need updating from blinds to shades and I will order each of them from Blindster.com. Very satisfied.
They sent me a second batch of blinds to correct the first batch, which were not up and down blinds (supposedly my fault). The new ones they shipped had problems like cracked wood and broken strings. Also, for the money I paid, I think I would have been happier going to Walmart or Home Depot.
I have a lot of windows and took a bold step in replacing all of my 'heavy' horizontal blinds (boring white) with cellular shades from Blindster. In my case I chose a variety of colors and features for different room purposes. I worked this project with two separated purchase orders. OMG I am so happy with the modern appeal of cellular. Your customer service is top notch too. They encouraged me to accept some samples first (looking out for me) which made my purchase a confident one. I love these blinds! The only minor feedback I have is that the double blinds on a single mounting rail (for bigger windows) don't have the same pretty decorative panel on the top to match the single blind windows. On my second purchase I chose two separate single shades for my remaining big windows instead of a single rail mount... looks much better. Great experience... Thanks Blindster!
On the reference of family, I ordered custom shades for my whole house. They were all great except for the brown ones which were subtlety different colors despite being the exact same product ordered. When I contacted the website, it took a bit of back and forth but they replaced them for free. They are now great. I would have given them five stars if they had been perfect the first time around.
I've ordered 12 blinds total and each one has fit exactly! Installation a breeze. There is no need to have anxiety when purchasing from this company online. They are right on target. I purchased the 1" premium wood blinds and they are an excellent choice -- all are outside mount as I have an older home and there was no room for inside mount.
I would highly recommend this company for all your window covering needs!
I have purchased new blinds for three different homes now, the first two times I used selectblinds.com and this last time I used blindster because they were 200 cheaper than the competition for my order (33 sets of faux wood express blinds) The product arrived correct and undamaged, and was exactly the same product I received from their competition in the past. Could not be a happier client!
I had a very good experience with blindster.com The order was packaged well and the blinds were delivered perfectly. The one slat that had an imperfection was replaced with a whole new blind immediately. The customer service is Excellent! I purchased these blinds for living room and bedroom. They are great for privacy on windows that you don't open often. With no holes on the slats there is no way anyone can see in. I love them!
For years I purchased shutters and shades from Shades, Shutters and Blinds till they abruptly went out of business. I am so happy with Blindster. Not only are they fair on price but their customer service is as good as it gets. I will continue to buy from them and recommend them to everyone. BTW... the shutters with the Z-Frame are so easy to install.

After looking at the national name blinds, someone mentioned Blindster.com and I am so glad they did. Ordered two large solar shades from the Exotic Collection with the cassette header and they are perfect for our picture windows at the beach. They are blocking out the sun yet one can see through the fabric and they are very attractive. I ordered both during a sale and paid less than half what the national brand would have cost.
Order came in expected time frame. Measurements were just what I ordered and the mounting brackets were correct. We owned a window covering business for over 30 years, now retired. It was probably easier for us than others because we were familiar with the product and the installation.
The "clutch" feature is ugly and unnecessary.
Have verticals from do-it-yourself stores that allow the chain controllers for turning to hang without a loop, much better.
The continues cord for pulling the blinds open just goes through a loop (no clutch). Much better looking and much less controlling.
On top of that the seller provided the wrong tracking number which had the wrong delivery date and wrong number of packages
Unfortunately this is identical to what was sent by the other mail order blind company...

Our vertical blinds should not have a clutch that is visible. It is enclosed inside the headrail. Please send me photos of the headrail so that I can see what you received. We will get this remedied as soon as possible.
I was so happy with the simplicity of the ordering process and how throughly the customer service team went through our order before sending it to manufacturing. Even going as far to clarify a few details whereas most companies would have just overlooked it. Also, when our order was missing a couple pull downs for our cellular blinds, the team was so great in sending the correct parts quickly. Will for sure be ordering again and recommending to friends.
I was concerned because I never had ordered blinds online and as these were a significant upgrade to what I normally purchase at the big box stores. I normally want to see before I buy. Nevertheless, I ordered these true wood blinds and could not be more pleased with my decision to venture into uncharted waters. The blinds were absolutely of impeccable quality and everything about the purchase was completely free of any negatives. I definitely will use blindster.com for further needs in the future.
Ordered blinds for the first time without valence tops very much knowing the valence tops are only able to be ordered with the blinds at the same time because of customization. When I received the blinds, they were very high quality and very well made, however after installation, it just didn't look right without the valence tops. After contacting customer service, they gave me a choice of a full refund or donating the current blinds to a local charity for a 90% refund. Really amazing policy that they have and wanted to share that spirit of giving and donated the blinds as well as an extra desktop computer I had laying around to Goodwill. Thanks and will shop from Blindster again!
I ordered three blinds, measuring carefully. But my tape measure was flawed and so I had a fitting issue. Blindster did exactly what they said they would--replaced the misfit for free--only charged shipping, which is only fair. I am super-happy with the quality, the price, and the service.
We measured the windows according to the size but when I ordered I put the wrong fraction 67.75 instead of 67.25. I called customer service as soon as I discovered my mistake. ( a day after I ordered) They changed it for me and the blinds came a week later. They look great with the valance included as well as the hardware. The sale price included shipping and beat anything I could find locally. Will use them again if needed!
My wife doesn't like me to call places, but prefers just ordering online, and so I heard about it from her when I told her I called Blindster.com and ordered some blinds. However when they came in and the size matched perfectly and as a bonus we saved $40.00 from if they would have been ordered online, well I call that a double double to use basketball terminology.
