I cannot tell you in words just how much I love Book Outlet. The excitement of getting a new box of books can only be seen. Perfect for the avid book reader, the prices and quality are just what we all need to keep adding to our never-ending TBR piles!

All but one book were in near perfect condition. Of course, the paper back, 'Shift' by Hugh Howey, had to be the damaged one. I used to order for a store I worked at and we had samr issue. Overall, though... they are books and they always make me happy.

I placed an order several weeks for about 25 books. The books were shipped promptly but the order was pending at the post office for weeks. As soon as I contacted Book Outlet customer service, they declared the books lost and offered a full refund or a replacement set of anything that was still available. I asked for the replacements and they promptly shipped these out at the same time they credited my card for the titles that were no longer in stock. I think they went above and beyond all expectations in the promptness and completeness of their response, especially since it was the post office that was failing to update the shipping record or deliver the books. A big thank you to Book Outlet for outstanding service... and some great books.

The order process was very easy, the books I ordered were delivered pretty quick and although I have not started to read the books the quality of merchandise seems to be good. Will probably use Book Outlet for future orders.

This is my first time ordering and I was very satisfied with my order. I like being able to find hard back books which are easier for me to read. Plus the price is affordable on my income. I definitely will be ordering again. Of course I had to wait longer than I wanted because who wants to wait on books?

I buy a lot from Book Outlet, and I'm usually satisfied. Every once in a while, but with increasing frequency, the boxes have little to no packing material included. This results in the load shifting inside the box 9 as anyone who's ever shipped a box knows) and resulting damage to the books inside. In one case, it led to the box falling apart with the loss of most of the contents (Book Outlet customer service issued a full refund cheerfully, but some of the lost items couldn't be reordered).
So, BO, pack your boxes better! Fill those voids in the boxes before you seal it up and send it.

Overall, the experience was great. However, the box that was delivered to me had clearly split along the side and had to be taped up, presumably by a postal employee. The books were all present and undamaged, though, so ultimately, no harm done. The packaging probably could be made a little more sturdy, though.

I never heard of your company before but it somehow I found it online. I had ordered a book for me my mom and for my dad and they are in perfect shape so I am definitely recommending this place to other people.

The overall experience was good. 1st time ordering, however, I was disappointed in receiving my box busted. Feel the order was poorly packaged for the trip it had to make. Please take the time to securely package what you customers pay for. Keeps us coming back!

I love this website. It's easy to use and has tons of options. Prices are great, especially during sales. Shipping was great too, super fast. The only thing I don't really like is some of the books when I received them. I understand this website is used books. I didn't think that I would receive books with a different cover than what I added to the cart. Or ones that have target stickers and barcodes on them. I am an avid reader. I love my books. I have plenty of used books. However I purchase certain cover additions for a reason. Receiving something other than that when not expected is a tad frustrating. They're honestly kinda ugly. I just hope one day the site gets updated to allow you to pick cover and quality of book.

When trying to message - I had to " draw a ticket" like participating in a lotto.

Of course no reply.
I believe those people are fraudulent - are all reviews fake?

I ordered in bulk for a Bible study. Although it says the books were "seconds", you couldn't tell! I saved over $7.0 on each book. I wish the shipping was faster. Book Outlet's customer service is exceptional!

Today I received my first order of 12 books, all 12 perfect condition.
I ordered on May 6 and received May 11, quite impressive in my opinion. I received two identical books, 1 hardcover and 1 paperback, once I looked into the situation I came to realize it was MY fault!
I am now awaiting for my second order and I feel confident that I will not be disappointed, also I recommended the book outlet to my friend.

Book Outlet, more often than not, has a selection of books I'm interested in and with prices I can't find elsewhere. My only qualm is that sometimes the books take a while to arrive from Canada, and the box tends to be a bit worse for wear! But other than that, I'll be using Book Outlet for as long as its around.

Nothing should take OVER a week to be delivered in this day and age! Up to 3 days to leave your warehouse on top of USPS - thankfully this wasn't a gift. One book was an odd size - not sure what that's about. Overall - happy with the books I received for the price.

I ordered these books (10 of them) for my newly established book club. My book club meeting was on Saturday the books were going to arrive Tuesday. Although they did come on time the box was mangled and it look like it was just on a soccer field being kicked around. The box was open and all of the books were in poor condition. From dirt and debris to ripped up dust covers. Not to me too mention they were covered red THICK dots on the page bindings. Apparently they mark their books with a SMALL discrete dot but there was nothing discreet about this thick red neon dot that looked very tacky.
I am overall very disappointed. My excitement turned into sorrow when they arrived. Not to mention I do not know how to get a refund since my order was over $100. Now I'm in a battle with PayPal trying to receive a refund. I do not want these books and every time I look at them I am reminded that I was naïve enough to order off of a website I have never heard about.
I do not recommend.

The packaging that is being used does not hold up well through the mail systems. I received my order in two shipments. The first had the lid of the box completely off by the time it reached me. The USPS had taped it shut with their tape. The second was on its way to having the top come off - two of the four flaps were no longer glued to the box.

I loved the price. The packaging could have been much better. There was no filler in the box so you could tell the books shifted a lot in transit. None were damaged, but they the covers were scuffed. I have no way of knowing if this was done during shipping or not. Box was starting to open. It could have been from all the books shifting around inside.
