I placed my first order ever with BookOutlet last week and got my books today and they are in GREAT shape! Shipping was pretty fast and all my books came perfectly! I am so happy! They don't have every book but they did have a large selection and the prices were better than I've seen anywhere else for the books I was searching for!
Looking for something (Hazardous Tales), found it and more. Could improve slightly the description on the books (but not sure that is realistic). My daughter is transitioning levels, so needs particular things (chapter books with color pics, and hard to tell with the descriptions), but overall pleased.

I ordered 13 children books for a little less than $40.
All arrived in great condition and at a much cheaper price than any other book seller site that I've done a comparisons to (and obviously much cheaper than going to the book store.)
Recieved my package today and I'm already adding more books to my cart for my next order!
I was very excited to see the list of great books. It was easy to order. However only one item of my entire order was delivered. Box wasn't sealed or closed correctly. Customer service took over an hour of holding to be hung up on by automated system. One more time of trying and so far it's over an hour again of hearing the call system. They won't respond to emails.
There are a lot of good deals on the website. I usually order around big ones like the boxing day sale. Not a fan of the mark on the books at all. Also, it's really hard to find the kind of books I read on the site. They don't have a way to search for queer lit on the site. Still I was able to find some books I would be interested in ordering before the last sale. It just took a long time.
I got nearly $250 worth of books for $35, AND got free shipping. The books arrived in exactly 1 week in much much better condition than I predicted based on the price. Most of them I wouldn't have any idea they were used, and look like I got them right out of a normal bookstore, except for a fraction of the price. I bought my books during a sale and even since I've been seeing other sales happening on the website, so that makes it even better. They also have a very large selection of books that increases all the time. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase, and I'm excited to buy from Book Outlet again once I finish my huge stack of books.
Everything was great. The condition of the books after shipping is where the loss of a star happened. I don't expect perfection, and they were only a bit mangled. Just a hunk of packing paper would have prevented that. I do appreciate the sturdier shipping boxes though!
I've ordered from them many times. I don't order from any other book sites. The prices are awesome. This order I got my order shipped within a week I was so shocked! The last couple times it's taking almost 2 weeks. Very happy with them. Great prices.

Really happy with my order, it arrived super fast, well packaged, books in excellent condition. No plastic waste and amazing customer service. This was my first order and a book was missing but opened up a ticket and got a reply really fast and replacement shipped. Overall I will continue purchase books.

The books were basically wrapped around a piece of soft cardboard and had ONE RUBBER BAND around it. No tape, no secure anything. There was wide holes on both sides. I picked it up and the books just fell right through. Packaging is a complete JOKE. I was not surprised to find the books I ordered with folded corners and a scratches on the cover. Will never shop here again...
I was so excited to find the books I wanted (Jason Pargin's John Dies At The End books 1-3) at such good prices. Didn't realize they were trade paperbacks, thought they were regular paperbacks, which was a pleasant surprise. Books are in excellent condition, which makes me even happier since I'm very anal retentive about the condition of my books. Overall a fantastic experience shopping wth you, will definitely be back!
We order books a few times a year for our home library for our kids and my first choice for books is always bookoutlet.com. The kids always love the choices and we usually make out with over 20 books under $45 dollars. Love booklet!
This whole experience was horrible! My order was running late. I would check the tracking number and I would see an error message. I would go and email this company Book Outlet, asking for help in helping me see the tracking information and NO ONE would respond. Then I was finally able to see the tracking information one day, and it kept saying that my items was with my local carrier, however it said this for days! I would write them again to ask for help and again NO ONE would respond! The customer service was horrible! Plus when the books finally arrived, one book is very damaged! The damage is not even what the book looked like. So yes, this was not a good experience at all!
My first time ordering from here and I'll definitely order again. My only complaint is that one of the books I ordered I did not receive. I was given a completely different title. A bit bummed by that but otherwise a nice experience.
A bit of a hiccup when I tried to check out. But overall, shopping was easy.
I love my books, there are in great condition and exactly what I ordered. The only thing was I was suppose to get them on Wednesday but did not get them until the next Tuesday. I do think that was the fault of our post office, it kept saying they were in transit in our city. Were they just driving around the city, we are not that big.
I am very happy with my purchase and how quickly my books arrived. However, there was one book I received that was just sticky all over. I know these are discounted books and they are not top quality but it was a bit disappointing.
I had ordered a bunch of childrens books for my niece and never recieved the order. Waiting now to see if they actually refund the money or not. I had to contact them 3 times to get the response I got in the photo.
The order took a long time to be delivered and then the box arrived open with one of the books missing. One of the books that did arrive was in horrible condition. The other two from my order arrived in as expected condition.
Overall, not sure I'd recommend Book Outlet or order from this site again.
