Overall experience was positive, but the box the books were shipped in was MUCH too big and had no additional filler, causing the books to tumble about and sustain some minor surface damage in transit (one book was jostled so much the dust jacket came completely off). The box was also partially open on the bottom.

During the early stages of the pandemic, my rather large book order got waylaid somewhere in the delivery system. Booksoutlet.com refunded me my money. I've been a steady customer since. The prices can't be beat!

I love Book Outlet but here a few things that could make this better. 1 - you need an app. I check your website more if I could see the app on my phone. 2 - the shipping tracking is NOT accurate and frustrating. Other than that, I love this website & the books that come from here.

Love this site! I have been buying books from them for about 4 years! They have the most awesome sales and low shipping cost! They are always getting new books in and restocking books I missed out on!

Shipped and arrived quickly. I ordered copies of a book for all members of my book club. The only disappointment was that several of them have "buy one get one half price" stickers on the cover. The adhesive is too strong to remove them easily. If I saw them in a store I would have searched and bought copies without the sticker on them.

I have purchased many books from this site and have never been disappointed. When there has been an issue - which is extremely rare - customer service has been prompt, efficient and very helpful. I really appreciate the points program they have, as I use the points when enough have been accumulated to offset the shipping costs (which are reasonable to begin with). The website was updated within the past year and they have made the site very easy to navigate.

Stay away! This site is a scam! I have ordered from them and then they ended up not sending the books I made the whole order for even though they were still in stock on the website. They refunded but I was still without the books I actually wanted. I tried messaging them twice and NO ONE would respond. It appears they have no customer service and pick and choose what to send you. There are MUCH better book sites out there to purchase from that actually have a customer service. This is the worst book buying site I have used and I am an avid book buyer so have used them all.

The books were perfect but the shipping box broke open and I was just lucky the books didn't get lost or damaged. This is the second time in a row this has happened. Please use sturdier shipping materials!

Hi all, I received my first order from bookoutlet.com today. Four books, large print paperbacks. I was excited to see the prices. I opened the box. The books are new for sure. So if that's all you care about, by all means order away. However, I like my books to be unblemished. One of the four covers is torn in the lower right along with about 11 of the pages. All all four have large black marker marks across the top of the pages of the book (hold the book upright and look at the top edge. Black markers across there). This will irk me. Yea, has no real bearing on the readability but if you're looking for new quantity books. The same quality as you'd get off the new books rack in a book store, this site isn't that.

Astounded and happy at the prices. There was only 1 case where the price offered on Amazon for a new copy was cheaper than Book Outlet. The cart was a bit tiresome since any change to the cart required waiting for a refresh that took a couple of seconds.

Bought something from them for Christmas gift about 2 weeks before Christmas.

It didn't ship until a couple days before Christmas. Their website makes it appear that they are in New York but in reality they are in Canada. There is absolutely no way to call them and they don't answer emails.

Now it is December 28th and I bought the item where I should have in the first place and had it in time for Christmas and now the damn thing is going to be delivered tomorrow.

If I'm home, I plan to refuse the package and put in a claim with PayPal.

They suck and their customer assistance is non existent. Forget about their stupid low prices. Pay a little more and know that you will get it.

I ordered the jojo moyes the last letter from your lover book I made sure it was the pink cover.

They sent me a reproduction of the book with two people on it that I didn't want. When I messaged them they said well it's still a great copy

This was our 2nd order with Book Outlet, and we are very happy with the experience! We are a book loving family, and my 10 year old requested activity/craft books for her birthday. I found lots of great options, and I know she will love them!

Great prices. Arrived within a few days. There was a mix up on my order and I was missing 1 of my books, but they were super quick about shipping out the missing book! Overallz great experience and will definitely be ordering again in the future!

For the most part the books arrived in good condition. The Atlas Six hardcover has a rip along the spine, so that was disappointing. The book covers on the website are also misleading. I ordered Love & Other words and The Percy Jackson books thinking that they would be the covers posted on the website, but they were the new ones. The rest of the books arrived in great condition and I was very happy with the affordable prices,

I love this website. So many titles and genres to choose from at great prices. Shipping takes longer than I'd like however I have so many books that I'm not in a hurry. I was just anxious waiting 2 weeks for Christmas gifts to arrive that I'd ordered on the 1st and 2nd of December for the office Christmas party. But the books are in great shape when they arrive though. I have ordered from here a lot and will continue to do so and refer this website to anyone I know and meet.

It was a wonderful, easy way to purchase books for the classroom and library. There is a wide variety of popular titles and students loves these books!

It would really help me out to have more coupons or "free promo codes". I personally pay for these books and even though they are inexpensive, it is still money I have to personally spend for the students.

First time to order thru Book Outlet. Was prompted by Amazon. Thank you for the extra book you sent. As I am 79 a children's book didn't fit my list of reads but was much appreciated by a Mexican worker in our community with a small grandchild as the book was in Spanish.

I order from very few places online because it's not always easy to know which websites are legit. You had the book I was looking for at the most reasonable price I found. Your shipping is also reasonable because some places charge as much for shipping as the price of the item. I received my book very quickly. You will be at the top of my list for future purchases.

The reason for ordering on line was to purchase something in pristine condition and not have one stick a price tag from Walmart on the cover. I would like to make arrangrments to have this book replaced and receive one without any price tags on the book stuck anywhere. Please let me know how I can do this as I am running out of time to present it as a gift.
