Book Outlet

The main book I wanted was removed from my order, a week after I placed the order. The only reason I went through with a list of books in my cart was because a book I really wanted showed up on the site. I placed the order, got the book I wanted and some others that were decent. But then a week after I ordered them I got an email saying that the book I really wanted was no longer in stock and removed from my order. I would'nt have gone through with the purchase of any of the books if the I knew the one I really wanted was not avaliable.

This site is easy to navigate and reasonably priced. The shipping took a week and I even ordered on a holiday. My only problem is the tracking. It says it was in my town but it wasn't, so I had to go to the usps website and put in the tracking number to know where it was exactly.

I cannot recommend any seller more highly than Book Outlet. BO has great prices (how do they do it and still survive?). BO has great service. The book arrived in the time frame promised (FAST!) and the book is in great shape. I marvel at the efficiency and celerity. I shall return!

Books were super low in price I couldn't believe it! I thought they would be in bad condition with how low the prices were but I was wrong! They were in great condition and I absolutely love the book haul I just received!

I am using the books for a centerpiece for a baby shower so that the mother goes home with a library. I found the selection excellent and am most please to support your company and have given your reference to several friends already.
Giving books for a baby give is my go to present and I will be using your services often in the future.

The packaging and the boxes that the books are put in are not sturdy and 90% of the boxes delivered have arrived badly damaged, some completely opened with the books exposed. The books remained intact for the most part but I will have to see if all the books arrived. I love the books but I am usually disappointed that the boxes are overpacked and the boxes are not sturdy enough to hold the weight. Less books should be in each box.

Honestly, I thought this was a scam at first because my package was in transit for eight days and at first it was telling me cannot find tracking number or something like that but when I receive the products I was impressed by how they look this is like books that are new, but you can tell I've just been looked at but overall great

I am very disappointed because the box was delivered yesterday, December 15th and was all broken and open. Only 19 of the 30 books I ordered were in the box. I need them for a party tonight. I do hope this will be resolved. I submitted a ticket and pictures of the box last night.

I love the books, but I cannot get my foutain pen for the Calligraphy book to work, and The book that my daughter recieved was very basic and not many step by step things like we thought. The other things are for christmas so I have not opened them yet! I think improving the description and more photos of what we are buying would be a great improvment so we know what it is that we are spending money on.

The prices were fantastic, my books shipped quickly and arrived on time and in perfect condition. No complaints, will definitely order from them again.

I'm a very repeatable customer.

Made an order on the 14th & 15th, says "shipped" but when you go to look at tracking, there is none. Its under "manifest data complete" theres a little bar and it is only part of the way full, not sure if that means that it is on its way to currier or what. I sent out ticket asking what that means, have not heard back. I did another today requesting a refund and the ticket was closed without ever being addressed. Checked my email too, nothing.

Update: 12/22/21 after reaching out via pay pal dispute I finally heard back, was asked to wait 10 business days for tracking to appear and usps shipping to be enroute. Explained delays due to CVD and holidays. Can not cancel order, may return unwanted books within 30 days. Lets hope I can update with a four star once books arrive.

I was looking for birding field guides to donate, as part of birding kits, to a conservation/birders club in Roatan, Honduras. I was so please to find that Book Outlet had them for less than half the price other book sellers were selling them for (even though they were published in 2017.) I'd never purchased from Book Outlet before so I was apprehensive about the condition, however, they were in excellent condition. I'm so pleased and will purchase again.

2 of the 3 copies of "the immortality key" I purchased were damaged one just had a little tear in the dust cover but the other one was messed up. The back of the dust cover was all scratched up, it also had a tear and the front hardcover flap was bent /heavily creased along 2 different lines. This was a bit disappointing because I was giving them as gifts and 2 of 3 of them didnt look new. The slow shipping I dont blame you guys for since it looked like USPS did have it in town for like 4 to 5 days before they got it to me. I was very happy with the price and very happy to have this particular book finnally in hand

I ordered for the 1st time on 11/11. Tracking says was delivered on 11/24. I reached out to USPS followed up with bookoutlet. 1st redflag is you cant get a rep on phone... recording. 2nd created a ticket only to have the rep tellme tocheck with neighbors as the USPS probably left it with one and check with USPS. No concern whatsoever for my order. I will take the $32 loss but will never order from this low scale outlet AGAIN. If I could hive it 0 stars I most definitely would.

I'm a book hoarder. My kids get piles of books for Xmas and birthdays, new books get pulled out every week, I give piles of books away as baby shower gifts. I love books, children books specifically. Book Outlet is amazing. I love to search their kid's books, sorting by price and comparing books to Amazon for price and reviews. Book outlet consistently has incredible prices on quality books. I've purchased hundreds of children's books from here: picture, chapter, and my favorite lately of non fiction. This isn't the site however to find specific titles; sometimes I'm lucky but usually they don't carry it. So this is more the place to browse, which I love to do. Ive purchased many large orders and while they do take a couple weeks or so to arrive, I've never had a problem with any order. They need to stop having sales so I stop buying books! The pic I've included was from an order I bought during one of their sales. Look at all the hard bound books. And all those books were just under $65, which averages to $2.60 each. In fact, they were only $50 for me as I used the discount from purchase points I got for being in their loyalty club. Highly recommend this site.

Everything was great but noticed that one of my books had some kind of stains on the front and back cover. I was able to take a washcloth and with some water wipe it off but why it left the warehouse like that I don't know. Then another book a smaller one that wasn't a hard cover had the cover mushed and I am hoping I can flatten it out. There was no packing material used to cushion the books as the post office isn't gentle with the packages.

I bought a bunch of books for my baby. They had brand new quality and amazing prices! I was more than pleasantly surprised! I didn't pay more than $3 for any books, many of which had $5+ retail prices! I was expecting some thrift store hand me downs maybe with writing in them or torn pages, but boy was I wrong! PERFECT BOOKS, NOT USED! I am super happy and will shop here again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
