We contacted Billy Wessels from Boomer Benefits September of 2023, he soon learned that I was an eager beaver and called a year too early. Billy promised to call me back in July of 2024, on July 2nd I received a call, and I was shocked, it was Billy. We set up a meeting and he did an excellent job informing us of our options and within a week we had decided the best direction for our needs and situation. I fully believe that Billy will be with us at each step of this journey for years to come. Thank you Billy for your time and professional trustworthiness you exhibited.
The agent that I had pushed 3 insurance companies that were too high for me. He then asked me four separate times about pursuing an Advantage plan, which I declined, and I told him why. I explained my financial situation to him and once again he pushed one of the original plans he had suggested earlier. His words were "its only $54.00 than what you're paying now". By this time I was getting upset. I then asked him about a Part D plan and if he could help, to which he replied "no, I can only help you if you purchase an insurance plan from us." Such poor customer service.
So glad I found Boomerbenefits. Jana was so helpful in getting me started with Medicare and other insurance needs. Today, I found that there had been a clerical error and Ally was able to put me in touch with someone at Medicare to get it corrected. So glad I have them to help me.

I saw that boomer benefits looked good. Then I applied and found out they only help you if you do not have a Medigap plan or can change to their Medigap plan. I wanted help with part d plan and nope, I cannot change medigap plans due to underwriting. Then I learned they make their bread and butter steering people to one of their medigap plans. They sound like they work for the public but in reality, they are paid by the the insurance companies they are paid by.
I will start my Medicare coverage on October 1st of this year. I made it through the A&B part easily enough and then the secondary coverage was needed.

When I was approaching my 65th birthday last year, I was overwhelmed with all the mail I received about enrolling for Medicare. Thank goodness I saw a popup for Boomer Benefits on Facebook about a free webinar. I signed up, and it helped me understand the basics of Medicare. I was so glad to find out that they offer assistance with signing up for a supplement and drug plan. Paulette was so patient and helpful in helping me find the right supplement and drug plan, and this year, Valaree has given me excellent guidance and assistance with changing my drug plan, as the one I was on is going up on their premium. I cannot thank Boomer Benefits enough for all their assistance - they are a real lifesaver when it comes to Medicare! I recommend them to anyone who is confused and overwhelmed with signing up for Medicare. I cannot speak highly enough of how very helpful they have been to me.
If I could I would give a zero. I had contacted them and was working on a Plan G policy and help with dental insurance. When my policy with United was denied because of a shoulder needing attention I told Mr Garza I did not want to appeal and also wanted to forget the dental insurance. (We eventually purchased a different saving plan for dental.). Today I was reviewing our checking balance statement and noticed charges to the dental insurance company we turned down. When I spoke with them they admitted I was not informed about canceling the insurance. The boomer benefits company informed me they couldn't do anything about the charges for January and February. This is costing me $168.16 because of their mistake. They'll get their fees as will Mr Garza but it's ok to stiff us.

The service providers have always been helpful and patient and quick to research the answer to my questions if the answer is not 'at hand'. Its always difficult to deal with a government agency. Boomerbenifit did the work for me. Medicare had my insurance coverage wrong. I called Boomer before calling Medicare. They called for me. They conferenced me when they had someone on the line. Medicare then removed another insurance company they thought was my primary. Problem solved, no frustration. Thanks Boomerbenifits.
I had an excellent experience using Boomer Benefits in getting signed up for Medicare. Jacob Chesney gave me invaluable help with choosing the appropriate supplemental plan and Wendy Hernandez was great at helping me get signed up with a Drug Plan. Even when I got distracted, didn't respond or got confused, Wendy patiently nudged me until I finally got signed up with the best plan for me.
This month, Catherine Hatley assisted us with information about transitioning into Medicare Part B, Part D and Medigap policies available to us. She was extremely helpful and very communicative. I now realize we will be needing to use the Customer Service annually to keep us up to date on our options as our health changes. Thank you Catherine, you are awesome!
Alyssa helped me wade through my transition from private Insurance to Medicare coverage and help with coverage for immunizations and CGM. Joye Smoak was our rep and she was outstanding. Quickly supplied us with all of our Medigap options and prices. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. She was able to immediately answer our questions. I can't imagine doing this without the help of Boomer Benefits.
Shelley was the first Medicare Rep to call and I circled back around after receiving calls from several other providers. She was patient persistent and that made a real difference - basically the other guys did not ever get past her clarity and tenacity. Past that she made it clear that BOOMER BENEFITS was not gong to drop me after she made the sale. This is all new territory for me and it mattered to me that if I ever need anything (and I hope like hell I never do) that I don't have to be stuck calling the carrier or Medicare alone for answers. Glad to both buy from Shelley and Boomer and write what I hope is considered an honest and celebratory review. More than anything as friends start asking about where to go, I will be fast to recommend Shelley and Boomer Benefits.
