The Bradford Exchange has been very honest, reputable and fair with me & and I love there merchandise! Some very unique and interesting items only to be found at the Bradford Exchange. They also have a the absolute best guarantee in the business & One year exchange or refund for any reason, how can you get better than that! The one improvement that I wish they would work on is with there Customer Service agents... some are super, and really want to help you... others act and talk like they have been woken Out of a deep Sleep when you try and ask for help. If they could improve on this just a little... you'd have a great company going to a Super company!

“Honestly...f**k Bradford Exchange”

I got a letter in the mail stating that I was chosen for a free coin. I got really excited and I accepted the coin since on my free time I like to find coins to keep and so I went ahead and sent in the paperwork for this "free" coin. After a while of having the coin in my possession, I started to get mail coming in for other coins that stated that you needed to pay for them. I wasn't interested, so therefore I didn't send in for those ones. Shortly after this, I got a letter in the mail stating that if I did not pay for this supposedly free coin that they would send it to collections. In my defense, I honestly thought this was a mistake since the very first letter that I got said that this coin was free. So after a while of ignoring that first invoice, I got another one still threatening to send this bill to collections. So doing what anybody would do I called Bradford exchange and explained to them that I did not appreciate being threatened that something that was supposed to be free is now on almost on its way to collections, because I refuse to pay for something that was stated to be free. The lady that I talked to on the phone said that the coin was free to look at- not to have. I referred back to the very first letter that I got stating that I was chosen for a free coin and nowhere on that piece of paper did it say that it was a free to look at coin. It flat out states that this is a free coin for you to have. There is NOWHERE on the first initital letter stating that if you wanted to keep the coin, you had to pay for it. So honestly, this company is super unprofessional, and a SCAM! Do NOT accept the "free" coin. They will just screw you out of it.

I am giving Bradford exchange 1 star because I can give them no less. My daughter ordered a group of 3 lanterns for me last Christmas as a gift. The merchandise was nice, however more lanterns continued to arrive. When my daughter contacted them, they said it was clearly stated that the merchandise would continue to arrive. She re-read emails. It was never stated. She contacted a company rep via phone who cancelled her account and refunded payment for a previous bill for merchandise which was not ordered. While shipments stopped, she was billed again for the returned payment. I called to settle the bill & be done with this company. I was told if I returned merchandise, I would be issued a refund. I know this is not accurate, because I returned merchandise in the past and no refund was issued. Do not be seduced by this company's merchandise. Stay away from this company. Their business practices are bad news!

Ordered an item (Nightmare Before Christmas Tabletop Tree). On 9/18/21. Still have not received complete order as of 12/6/21. Emailed THREE times asking for updates to shipping and still have not received a response. They even charged my credit card! I filed a claim with my credit card company to get my money back. STAY AWAY!

I ordered a birthday gift for my son they never sent the item after charging my card I spoke to them about it never being sent and they refused to refund finally I spoke to my bank and they refunded me and now 6 months after I've spoke to their "customer service" about them falsely charging me for something they never sent I get a debt collectors notice they sent this into collections. Absolute trash company.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use them at all ever!! They get your money and never send your items then customer service will tell you they shipped it 2 months ago and proceed to send you a tracking number that says in the system it does not exist

Not sure about other products. I've only ordered a train set and holiday village. I had to exchange one item and the service was great. Got the item back quickly but that was a few years ago. I am continuing to order my products from them and so far so good. These two next items may come in late because of COVID but I totally understand that.

I am in a dispute now. I never signed up to get charged for the nightmare before christmas train. The entire train on facebook as advertised as 39.99. No that is one link of 16. So they charged me the same amount again. Thats lying repeatedly. I got scammed.

I recently purchased a Christmas nativity tree from Bradford exchange. It was very expensive but it looked beautiful so I bought it. My problem is that what I thought I was buying and what I actually got was very different. I feel stupid for buying from them and wish I'd seen this site first, if I had I would never have bought it, way overpriced. Surely there should be laws that require that the image actually is of the item being sold, the image has to altered. If I saw a picture of what I got I would never have bought it. This company should be shut down.

I have never ordered anything from Bradford Exchange, nor have I had any contact with them at all. Out of the blue, they start sending me invoices for $142+ for a "God Pearl of Wisdom." While I recognize the scam, I worry that many elderly people see the invoice and simply pay it. I reported them to them to our state department of consumer affairs who forwarded my complaint to the FTC. So far, nothing; but hopeful that enough people will complain to induce FTC to do something about this fraud.

None, I spotted the scam and didn't fall for it.

I ordered online and received a product from the Bradford Exchange. Two months later, I received an additional product that I did not order or want which was part of a subscription service that was subsequently charged to my PayPal. I called to have the subscription cancelled and provide a return shipping label. Bradford Exchange cancelled the service and refunded the amount but did not provide me the return shipping label. In addition, I cancelled the automatic PayPal payment connection. However, they continue to send me notices to pay the complete subscription.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid or risk being put on an unsolicited scam subscription.

I ordered one item from them as a gift and even though I was very careful not to tick any boxes, they continued to send me items. All of these were returned as unauthorised mail. Now they have sent me an invoive, for $90. I have told them in writing that I have never sighted this item, and now I have had to fill out a legal declaration about this item. My advice is not to order anything in the first place if you do not want to be hassled.

My boss who happens to be dating my Mom gave me a brochure wanting me to place this order for him for a ring to give to Mom for Christmas. The item page and same after placing order indicated to receive by Dec 24. I received the item On Friday March 8. I emailed their customer care dept several times only to hear apology after apology and after the first 6 weeks passed and then said it can take up to 12 weeks. This experience frustrated me to no end. My Mom will have it for her birthday now. BE sucks. I will never order from them again. They need to let buyers aware of this long delay and they only gibe you the run-around

Paid for a coin set. They decided to not give me the set then put me on a subscription. So paid 100 bucks got nothing then they charged me 30 bucks a month for a 20 dollar coin. Cancelled then the came up with a fake collections issue for the 18 dollars. You can not get a hold of them it's a scam company!

We received an item, not ordered, with invoice so sent it back RTS. Then received an invoice reminder with payment demand.We have emailed Bradford, but no reply. Also have not ordered anything from them for several years, but they obviously kept our records.We also asked they delete our details from their data base, and do not recommend them to anyone!

My wife ordered a Cubs ornament a month as a Christmas gift. They promised it would get there December 9th. She didn't get it til the day before Christmas Eve. Product came as promised so that is fine.

My wife two weeks later received a call from her bank that someone tried to make purchases on her debit card. They said it was from Bradford Exchange. Do they have workers there that steal information to order themselves items? Unreal.

They automatically signed me up for their rewards program and I would have never known if I had not reviewed my credit card statement. It took me two phone calls to cancel. Also, I have cancelled my "subscription" twice and they are still charging me. Credit card company is prohibited from blocking charges from this company so I will just close my credit card.

I bought a wedding set which stated it Seoul not discolor and now I have engraved wedding rings which are turning copper in color after only less then two years. So disappointed I have been buying for years other products and now for this to happen Im horrified

Ordered a music box in May. Paid with Chase credit card. I paid my credit card and they paid Bradford. I have sent numerous proof of payment including my credit card statements showing payments and the bank printout showing their payment. I continue to get bills and threats of collections. Last letter I sent registered mail with all payment paperwork. The music box was not high quality as well for 89.00.

I ordered a jewelry box on Dec. 16. They promised before Christmas arrival. They say it shipped Dec. 22nd. It is Jan. Now and still nothing. The tracking number does not work and says it is Fed Ex. When I call them they said that it was actually sent USPS and they cannot help me. If it has not arrived in thirty days they will send me a new one. (Yeah right)

The watch I ordered and received is lovely but this company is f***ing atrocious. I ordered with their payment plan option. First, they took the whole payment, then refunded me at my request and set up the plan... Or so I thought. They failed to set up the plan 4 times, all the time sending me notification letters and threats of debt collectors. I called after the fourth failure and after a letter ADDING A CHARGE and was offered to set up a new payment plan because "the last guy wrote your details down wrong", I impolitely declined and paid the full amount, screwing over my financial situation this month; better than continued dealings with this shambles offer a company! Also, why are they writing down card numbers? If they don't dispose of them properly people could steal people's cards and purchase things with those details.

I saw an offer for guaranteed delivery by mothers day with option to pay installments so a couple days later (May 1) I ordered a bracelet from these people, and received confirmation email only to be I DON'T qualify for installments. Called in (May 5) to make full payment only to find out the order would take 2-3 weeks at the very fastest, which is nowhere near mother's day. Was given 7 days to decide whether or not I wanted to move forward... Even after I decided to bite the bullet and order any way (same phone call), the customer service lady informs me that my order has been canceled and I would have to provide all the personalized and custom information all over again. Retrieving this information so close to mothers day a SECOND time would have been a dead giveaway. Thanks a lot for ruining a once a year event for me. And this is my second attempt at buying from these people. Would have had a better experience from a 4 year old.

Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time unless you have time to waste. Ignore the bargains and guarantees from these people. Don't depend on gifts from these people for unless it doesn't matter hie long it takes for you to receive it.

Bradford Exchange is a disaster and are performing fraudulent actions! Stay away from them! I ordered a Chrismas tree that cost $150, with an express delivery it cost $200.It was a birthday gift! Bradford Exchange never sent that tree, cause my card was issued outside the Us. They didn't bother to contact me and to inform me, that my surprise would never be delivered! They also charged my boyfriend for $580! He didn't order anything. That idiots sent him some Christmas tree that he didn't order! And on one of his previous orders they sent him the wrong item. This is everything that you should know about Bradford Exchange!

My husband ordered checks and received them. Come to find out he was put on a "Brads Reward" program so his credit card was being charged every month without his knowledge. When he called the company they were very rude and even hung up on him. He then had to call his credit card company to dispute the charges. He spent over an hour on this problem on the phone. Not sure this is even settled! Don't order from them. The checks were $89.00! Rip off!

I will NEVER order another item from this company. Placed a order for a Son Plaque on September 2,2021 and to this very day, have not received so after 3 months of excuse after excuse, I cancelled it and was able to order a comparable item from another company and will have in 5 days. They kept changing delivery dates on email and postal mail but nothing ever developed from that either. You never reach their customer service but they'll answer in Order Department! (Go Figure?) I'll receive their pamphlets and magazines at least once a week in postal mail but don't receive past order. Wish there was a O star in review but there isn't so rated with the lowest 1 Star. I highly recommend to not trust this COMPANY, believe me, you'll be sorry in the end!

Tip for consumers:
I should of read other reviews first before ordering but read after I was experiencing problems!

YOU GUYS SUCK! Purchased 2 full sets of Morgan silver dollars with display cases and uncirculated peace dollars full set and you sent me 1 coin that was so bad you yourself graded and called it very good. Its not even able to grade in my opinion. I hope you guys get whats coming to you, by ripping people off like this. Nobody should be subjected to this during a recession nor should you get away with ripping people off. You guys should be in jail

Customer service on phone is horrible, the woman talks over you doesn't let you talk. I tried to explain something to her that I returned something to them and she says it was never shipped out in the first place, seriously? Then how did I get it? And when I talked to someone else before this they sent me the return label and all the paperwork was in the package with my name etc on it. The customer service rep hung up on me, it is too bad I'm still waiting for my ring to come or I would be done with this company. They are rude as hell the lady would not let me explain anything until I got loud with her and had to practically yell for her to shut up so I could tell her that yes I did get it the order and yes I did return it and yes cancel it! Omg!

I ordered a rather expensive coloring book as a Mother's Day gift. It didn't show up until well after Mother's Day. Then they sent a second one and charged my credit card again... then another. I have returned the package but have yet to get credit back on the cc. Don't trust these people with your credit card number.
