“I love the Bradford Exchange”

The Bradford Exchange has been very honest, reputable and fair with me & and I love there merchandise! Some very unique and interesting items only to be found at the Bradford Exchange. They also have a the absolute best guarantee in the business & One year exchange or refund for any reason, how can you get better than that! The one improvement that I wish they would work on is with there Customer Service agents... some are super, and really want to help you... others act and talk like they have been woken Out of a deep Sleep when you try and ask for help. If they could improve on this just a little... you'd have a great company going to a Super company!

“Honestly...f**k Bradford Exchange”

I got a letter in the mail stating that I was chosen for a free coin. I got really excited and I accepted the coin since on my free time I like to find coins to keep and so I went ahead and sent in the paperwork for this "free" coin. After a while of having the coin in my possession, I started to get mail coming in for other coins that stated that you needed to pay for them. I wasn't interested, so therefore I didn't send in for those ones. Shortly after this, I got a letter in the mail stating that if I did not pay for this supposedly free coin that they would send it to collections. In my defense, I honestly thought this was a mistake since the very first letter that I got said that this coin was free. So after a while of ignoring that first invoice, I got another one still threatening to send this bill to collections. So doing what anybody would do I called Bradford exchange and explained to them that I did not appreciate being threatened that something that was supposed to be free is now on almost on its way to collections, because I refuse to pay for something that was stated to be free. The lady that I talked to on the phone said that the coin was free to look at- not to have. I referred back to the very first letter that I got stating that I was chosen for a free coin and nowhere on that piece of paper did it say that it was a free to look at coin. It flat out states that this is a free coin for you to have. There is NOWHERE on the first initital letter stating that if you wanted to keep the coin, you had to pay for it. So honestly, this company is super unprofessional, and a SCAM! Do NOT accept the "free" coin. They will just screw you out of it.

Called to cancel an order,
15 minutes on hold, then an unhappy voice tells me I need to be transferred, another 30 only to be cut off

I ordered a coca cola vintage clock for my sister in law, 1, they charged me for 2, I called immediately to tell them that they needed to release my money for the other one, they claim they NEVER charged me for another one, well they did. I receive the 1 I ordered, they still had not released my money for the second one they charged me. I called, called, called, called, NOBODY would help. A week after I received the one and only clock I ordered, another clock showed up! I TOLD THEM NOT TO SHIP IT OUT, THAT I ONLY ORDERED ONE! MY DAD RESENT the other clock RIGHT BACK, still NO REFUND, I called, called, called, was treated like I was wrong, was lied to, then finally today I call again, ask for a supervisor, the man, or BOY that answered the phone laughed at me, when I asked why he was laughing, he claimed he didn't, I CLEARLY heard him laugh to someone he was with. He then said I was making things up, I said no, I heard him laughing, so then he swears at me, I said, " now your swearing at me. He then precedes to swear at me and hang up on me! All I want is MY MONEY THEY HAVE HAD TIED UP FOR OVER A MONTH, AND THANKS TO THEM COST ME 2 OVER DRAFT FEES TOTALLING $70. Today my dad calls them, gets a supervisor, they claim they mailed out a check to me. When they are suppose to put it back on my debit card! Between the 2 of us, my father and I have spent a few thousand with the company, I WILL NEVER, EVER, DO BUSINESS WITH THE COMPANY AGAIN! AND I WILL NOT LET ANYBODY I KNOW DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EITHER! LIARS, THIEVES, RUDE, AND JUST PLAIN STUPID!

I wish I'd read the reviews about this company prior to ordering my checks! Unfortunately, it takes me about ten years to go through an order of checks, and I'm stuck with these lousy checks as a reminder of how much I dislike doing business with Bradford Checks. First, the amount I agreed to pay when I entered my credit card number changed AFTER I submitted my order. I spent at least an hour and a half dealing with customer service that day because it takes an hour for an order to show in their system, and they insisted that I call them back (and then wait on hold for a long time!) Customer service told me that because there are so many coupon codes on the internet, sometimes the prices change after you've placed your order. That's got FRAUD written all over it!

The guy resubmitted my order and tried to get as close as possible to the amount I initially agreed to pay (fortunately I had a screenshot to prove what I'd agreed to pay!), but it was still a few dollars higher than the amount that made me decide to use Bradford as opposed to some other company. Then, when I got my checks, the customer service representative had sent me singles instead of duplicates as agreed to on my initial order. When I called back to have the situation rectified, the guy could see where I'd ordered duplicates and where they sent singles instead, and said the best he could do was refund me (it remains to be seen if they actually refunded my card) and then charge me $3 extra for the duplicates.

I understand that duplicates cost more, but the initial amount I agreed to pay WAS for duplicates, and I paid more than that. With all the hassle I went through and having to WAIT for the corrected checks to come in, I would think they'd have just sent me the corrected checks as a courtesy without charging me THREE extra dollars. Their website stinks (charging me extra after I submitted my order), and their customer service is definitely lacking. I will not be ordering from Bradford Checks again!

Dec. 1 ordered pendant for my Mom. We recently lost my father and as it is our first Christmas without him wished to get her something special…on the 12th of Dec., I sent an inquiry as to the delivery status and received a very kind email from a representative named Kelsey assuring me that despite delays at the manufacturing end, the gift would arrive by Christmas Eve. By the 20th, still no sign of my mom's gift and I sent another email asking if it would indeed arrive on time or whether I should go shopping for an alternative gift. On FRIDAY the 23rd, I finally received an email from Wilver saying he was "happy to inform me that my collectible has been reserved for me"…and that they anticipated the order would arrive no later than 02/02/23. As, by then we were under a severe storm watch, I was not able to run out on CHRISTMAS EVE to try to find something else, after being repeatedly reassured by this company that my Mom's gift WOULD indeed arrive on time…it didn't. I am fully aware of issues in every sector of business dealing with manufacturing delays etc., All I would have liked was an HONEST answer from this company that my product would not be arriving on time. I guess that was too much to ask. If and when my pendant arrives, I will give it to my mother, but the moment has now passed and I am severely disappointed with The Bradford Exchange and will not ever order from this company again.

As described in my complaint….I never received my product after repeatedly being assured it would arrive. That is the issue, not the product itself (so far).

REPORTED TO THE UK BBB. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS HORROR OF A COMPANY. THEY ARE FILTHY THIEVES. I'VE NOW GOT TO GO THRU THE LONG PROCESS OF RETRIEVING THE MONEY THEY STOLE FROM MY ACCOUNT.

I purchased a Christmas Village collection for my wife as a Christmas gift, the pieces arrived mostly on time and she was happy until the final order 3 weeks ago arrived. For a two week period, a tracking number they provided was invalid which just makes you feel very confident in their abilities. When I called and spoke with someone about the invalid number, I was told yes its invalid but I cannot do anything at all. Really? Really?

Eventually, about two weeks late, the parcel arrived.

The collection was Muppet's themed (her favorite) and featured figures of all of her favorite characters. After the final delivery, we noticed that we did not receive two of the figures that were originally advertised.

I sent an inquiry email, and got no response. I placed a call, and was told that the picture was 5 years old, and the two figurines in the question were no longer being produced, and had not been produced in some time. My response was "Maybe you should take 5 minutes and snap a new photo, or let your customers know!" I was considering canceling the entire order and returning it and was told that someone from the marketing department would call me back within 48 hours.

That was a little over 10 days ago, the 'marketing' department never did call. I placed my third call this morning, and I was told the figures were no longer available, sorry... that was it! So I am in the process of canceling the entire order and returning it to them. This was TERRIBLE customer service! I cannot stress enough how good they are at taking money, and how bad they are at servicing the customer after the fact.

Since my initial complaint to the BBB and several other consumer advocacy groups, the Bradford Exchange actually placed new photo's on their site that did not contain the figures in question, and then later removed them to respond to the BBB Claim. Fortunately, I saved a cached version of that page with the 'new' photo's that Bradford then claimed never existed to the BBB. I actually caught them lying:)

The moral of the story is BUYER BEWARE of these guys!

Biggest scam artist online.
