The Bradford Exchange has been very honest, reputable and fair with me & and I love there merchandise! Some very unique and interesting items only to be found at the Bradford Exchange. They also have a the absolute best guarantee in the business & One year exchange or refund for any reason, how can you get better than that! The one improvement that I wish they would work on is with there Customer Service agents... some are super, and really want to help you... others act and talk like they have been woken Out of a deep Sleep when you try and ask for help. If they could improve on this just a little... you'd have a great company going to a Super company!

“Honestly...f**k Bradford Exchange”

I got a letter in the mail stating that I was chosen for a free coin. I got really excited and I accepted the coin since on my free time I like to find coins to keep and so I went ahead and sent in the paperwork for this "free" coin. After a while of having the coin in my possession, I started to get mail coming in for other coins that stated that you needed to pay for them. I wasn't interested, so therefore I didn't send in for those ones. Shortly after this, I got a letter in the mail stating that if I did not pay for this supposedly free coin that they would send it to collections. In my defense, I honestly thought this was a mistake since the very first letter that I got said that this coin was free. So after a while of ignoring that first invoice, I got another one still threatening to send this bill to collections. So doing what anybody would do I called Bradford exchange and explained to them that I did not appreciate being threatened that something that was supposed to be free is now on almost on its way to collections, because I refuse to pay for something that was stated to be free. The lady that I talked to on the phone said that the coin was free to look at- not to have. I referred back to the very first letter that I got stating that I was chosen for a free coin and nowhere on that piece of paper did it say that it was a free to look at coin. It flat out states that this is a free coin for you to have. There is NOWHERE on the first initital letter stating that if you wanted to keep the coin, you had to pay for it. So honestly, this company is super unprofessional, and a SCAM! Do NOT accept the "free" coin. They will just screw you out of it.

This is not a 59.99 tree. I kept getting a charge on my account for 39 and some change every month so I called. This tree is 1,700 a table tree! She said it tells you each issue how do I know each issue means this is a 1,700 dollar tree. This is misleading and not clear with proper information. Don't let them fool you. Run!

Tip for consumers:
Do not order this tree. This is NOT 59.99. At the red of each piece you will get in the mail your total amount is 1,700 for a table tree. Is collectable and beautiful and if they were honest and clear on their website I might have kept it but the moral is they try to scam you. They can keep it all.

None it comes in pieces only had the tree and nothing else.

This company will continue to take money out of your bank account after you have cancelled the order.when they advertise and item it will end of being 3 times the amount it was advertised for. It's false advertising and good luck trying to get the money back

I signed up for a 3 foot Christmas tree and was sent a little bitty house. Per customer service I didn't order right they're gonna send me a whole series of stuff for a village. I did not sign up for a village. I just wanted the tree and you're not allowed to buy just the tree. People need to know this.

For this company to be so big and keep my money from a refund is ridiculous, I owe them $35.72 for a last payment on a product and they owe me $ 79.80 for a ring I had made 2 payments on then sent it back they received my return on 1-22-20. I have talent many hours in the phone since then with 2 supervisors and countless employees, to have them tell me they'll take care of it and take what I owe them off of my refund, to say that because it has taken so long I would get what the ring cost plus what I've paid. Of course I haven't gotten anything all I want is what they owe me minus what I owe them. Yes now I'm being reported for not paying them, but nothing happens to them for keeping my money. Sad thing is I've bought countless things them and enjoyed them all, now I will never do business with them again. I hate being taken advantage of and my blood pressure has risen a lot during this. If you don't want a headache then don't purchase anything from here.

I just bought something from bradford and they charged my card twice... I will not be ordering again and if I could give them a 0 I would. I was also told that I would get my money back on my card 3 to 5 business days. Well it's been three days so we will see. Beyond irritated, I also got some lame excuse that they do it that way to make sure the money is there... Okay well it would not have went through if the money was not there so why would you run it a second time.

The product is described as "This faithful watch arrives in a custom presentation case, perfect for safekeeping and giving as a breathtaking religious gift"
1. The box looks and feels cheap. Bradford Exchange is an established brand and should provide quality packaging as many of the products sold are gifts. I was embarrassed to present my volunteer of 10 years with this gift box.
2. The watch feels cheap. This is a $99 watch and feels like a $10 watch. I gave 2 stars for the face of the watch but I am very disappointed with the cheap feel of the watch it's self.

Yes, based on the reviews I'd say I'm not the only one who feels that Bradford Exchange needs to figure out if they want to get back in the game of doing business or close their doors. this gift was an embarrassment to present and I had no time to go to a plan B. Do NOT purchase this product...so cheap from the watch to the packaging...you'll be disappointed.

This is one of those underhand companies that bombard you with their products, take unauthorised money from your bank. This is a copy of my second email this week. I emailed you last week regarding your underhand sales techniques. If you ever take unauthorised payment I will see you in court, if you send me anymore of your products without my requesting it I will see you nine court. You are a disgusting company with despicable sales techniques that aim to deceive. This is going on social media and in every review site.

I bought an Army knife collection display kit for my son-in-law who is active in the Army for a Christmas gift. I called Bradford in early November to make sure they had the whole kit in stock and I could receive it by Christmas. I was told no problem, however each piece needed to be mailed out separately so they could charge me extra for the shipping and handling. Low and behold, I did not receive all the pieces by Christmas. They sent me 4 of the same knife and I had to keep sending it back telling them to send me the right knife. They would also charge me to send out the right knife until they received the duplicate knife back even though it was their fault. Here it is March and I'm still waiting to complete the collection. This company is so incompetent and I strongly encourage anyone not to do business with them.

So I ordered a Mother's Day gift. I had already paid and was excited for her bracelet to arrive. Fast forward to today! I am checking my email and come across one from them. It says my order is not being shipped. Weird?! They say it could either be I'm a new customer or that I have an outstanding balance. So I call first time 20 minutes give up. Then call back. Over an hour wait for them to tell me because someone at my address ordered something and didn't pay for it I have to now pay for it. They said it was from five years ago. I have only lived at this address for three years. So I have to pay for someone who I don't even know. Completely ridiculous! I will spend $168 else where!

I ordered large collections for my family members for Christmas this year. I ordered early. Some are still on back order. None are complete and they are all being sent to the wrong homes. Bradford Exchange tells me I could send them all back and start the process over. What the H? Are you kidding me? What makes them think they would get it right the next time? Now I don't know what to do with partial collections...

The Exchange is a wealth of misinformation and broken promises but I will say when I mailed back my disappointing music box they immediately refunded my purchase price plus the fees for shipping. They did not bother to notify me but I found out through the investigation of my credit card.

They advertise a 1976 bicentennial silver dollars Ike. I paid over$60 for a coin the is worth no more than a couple dollars. Coin was neither BU or silver. It was a circulated silver clad coin. Took advantage of a new coin collector. Please don't let this happen to you!

Ordered train tunnel for Christmas tree on Dec 9,2016. Got email on Dec 16,2016 indicating item was shipped. On Dec 19, tracking number was still not showing up in carrier's website. Contacted customer service who promised item was shipped and would arrive before Christmas. Tracking number finally showed as being shipped on Dec 28 with delivery scheduled for Jan 3,2017. My tree will be put away by then.

I bought a ring set from them. Didn't like the quality. Definitely disappointed and it didn't look the same from their website. Sent item back for a refund but now told i will have to wait a month before i can get my money back. Complete rip off!

I bought a music box that was broken on arrival. I wrote a bad review, listening too and being swayed by other reviews I expected the worst. Immediately after posting my review, I received a very nice letter of apology and they told me they put a replacement into shipping immediately. The replacement arrived as promised and on return they gave me a full refund for the broken part. I am impressed with their integrity and service. I know there are many unhappy reviewers, all I can say is I am very pleased with their integrity and business practice. I'm sure there are some that will think I work for the company or have devious reasons for this positive post. I can't change those minds but I have no connection with this company other than a satisfied customer.

My mentally challenged aunt got this despicable company's catalogue in the mail and bought me a model car for Christmas on behalf of my grandma. She paid the obscene sum of $100 and received a haphazardly painted hunk of plastic. This company targets people who don't understand how much things should cost and then offers no customer service when the item is inevitably defective or MUCH lower quality than anticipated. This company commits exploitation of mentally vulnerable populations.

Ordered Item in August. Never received and called about status (the date kept moving out online). Finally 2 months later, they tell me the item is on Backorder. Stand clear of this company, it's a fraud.

Definitely gets into my top 3 worst experiences of the lifetime ever!
Received a personalized item with the spelling mistake. Terrible customer service. Firstly, everytime need to wait 1.5 to 2 hours to be connected to an operator. Been told someone will contact me via 24h. Nothing happened in 4 days. Been told that they can not issue the refund via original payment method (Paypal), only by cheque which needs to be waited for ages and sounds so ridiculous and dodgy. Everything is just terrible starting with waiting times for the item to arrive finishing to customer service.

I am so disappointed in 2 Thomas Kincaid Christmas decorations! Made in China and eyes aren't where the divot in sculpture is, black smudge on face, no ac adapter so had to buy one on top of the $300.00 I spent. The one piece looks like a ceramic shop down the road could make for $25.00! Thought this was a reputable company? Think again! They lost my business!

Received necklace pretty quick! It's beautiful, I can't wait for my granddaughter to see it when I visit her this spring. It just like they said. Gorgeous December birthstones with a diamond and her name engraved in the heart. Thank you so much! My brother used to always order from your company before he died; and never had a problem with anything he ordered!

I ordered a Christmas decoration for my wife in mid-November. The item was never received. I was told that they could re-send the item and that I "might" receive the item by Christmas. The customer service person didn't get the whole idea of having the decoration for the Christmas season. Why get it just before Christmas to then pack it up and use it next year. It is not unreasonable to ask that an item is received within 30 to 40 days.

Stay clear if you want things delivered in a timely fashion, or even delivered at all.

Ordered a silver coin for 19.99. Was charged taxes and shipping ended up costing me $38.66. Then Discovered it was for a series of collectibles. This was not explained to me when I purchased the coin. Texted and asked to have it discontinued. They agreed to stop sending Items but would be billing me $38.66 every 28 days until it was paid off. Why was I being billed for items I was not receiving. After reading other reviews. This company is deceptive and unprofessional. I would not recommend anybody use this company

My wife ordered a table lamp with 3 birds on the pedestal, advertised in The Smithsonian Magazine. Its official name is "Joyous Gathering Accent Lamp." It was ordered mid December of 2020 as a Christmas gift. It is now three months out, with no sign of our $195.00 purchase. We had previously been given a date of the first week in March for its already late arrival. A call today to "customer service" advised us that the item is "on back order", and that it "should" arrive by May 9th! We had been told the exact same script on our last call promising at that time, an early March delivery. When asked how an order made in December of last year could possibly take half a YEAR to arrive, it was simply repeated that it was "on back order." No other explanation. Maybe the lamp can be a Christmas gift for NEXT year?

Tip for consumers:
Why it is taking half a year to receive our purchase? Being on "back-order" or "Covid" is NOT an explanation. Several weeks late...even a month...MIGHT be legitimate. Half a year?? No way.

Checking out my selected item they offered expedited 2 day shipping for double the shipping cost.They promised my item would arrive March 31st.I received no email verification,no tracking info for next 24 hours.My credit card had been charged tho.The item wasn't even shipped for 2 days.It shipped the day it was promised to arrive.took extra money from me.I'd of got the same delivery time paying 65% less...and they ignore my complaints sent by email simply replying "thanks for letting us serve you"...never again
