I ordered a GPS from a seller with a good rating, but i never got the item.
And they are not replying, the customer service told me they can't do anything.
I thought I purchased an item and much to my surprise when I got home there was an email here pasted."We regret to notify you but your order was canceled by the store. You can see the order details below.
Canceled items:" That tills you nothing so I called them at:*******259 where I was informed "oh that was a mistake "we don't ship" I said back to her the order clearly states Item Price: $14.99
Shipping & Handling: $5.90
Sales Tax: $0.00
Total: $20.89
She replayed back to me "oh that is our mistake... We try to catch these things but sometimes"... That is why I am here so unless you want to drive across the country to pick something up Be advised ***FORGET Buya.com. Or fraud ya.com Now the period of time my money sets in there bank before they send it back they make interest. I am going to inform pay pal as well!

Site has NO customer service, seller does not answer proviced phone number. Sorting this one out with credit card company.
Unfortunately I cant give it a zero rate! I bought a reciprocating saw from a store, it was supposed to be shipped within 3 days. After 5 days there was no indication of shipping. I called the store, they said they dont have the item anymore! I asked for refund, he claimed that they never received the money yet as they didnt ship, which made sense to me, telling me to contact the so called "customer service" of Buya, one named Michael said that Buya doesnt interfere in the deal and doesnt have my money. When I built up pressures on him he said agreed to refund the money and that I should give them 10 working days to receive it. AND THAT WAS MY MISTAKE, because at then I could have called my bank to retrieve the money back raising a fraud claim, but I didnt! After 12 working days I called them again, the same "Michael" replied but denied that he promised of any refund and that I should call the store again, of course what did I expect? He just needed time to pass so I wouldnt be able to retrieve the money.

I made a purchased after a week I received a notice the item I had purchased was misspriced, then I had to called to four different times to get my refund
I bought an item from one of the merchents that sell on the market place. It came in great condition and was a perfect purchase :)

I want to reflect my complete disappointment in a merchant you currently have on your website, BUYA.COM.
BRYANT PAWN SHOP had a silver lot for sale posted FOR 9 MONTHS on your site.
After researching the pricing, I saw that it was a good deal, so I countered with a slightly lower price.
They countered and I accepted the terms and agreed to purchase the item.
I was just notified that all of the sudden, they could not find the item.
I trusted Buya.com to represent the merchants they allow on their site. By doing that, I entrusted my credit card information as well.
I looked at the FAQs portion of your site regarding the sellers responsibilities regarding what they can and cannot do.
Nowhere does it say they cant just drop my purchase based on the fact that they cant find it.
At the VERY least, I would expect a comparable item of equal value and expenses to be offered.
I searched your site for a good deal and found one. Bryant noticed that their margins were not right so they cancelled my order.
I hope to hear from you regarding this order.
I am brand new to your site and Id like to think you have your customers best interest at heart.

Answer: Because Buya is all pawn shops, the best way is to reach out to the shop that sold you the item. If they refuse to cooperate you can always contest the charge with PayPal, providing that's how you paid.

I'm sorry to hear that your experience with Buya was less than optimal.
Buya is a marketplace that puts buyers in touch with sellers. We leave it up to our sellers to decide whether they want to ship or do local pickup. A lot of our sellers are very small mom & pop shops with very limited resources and shipping isn't feasible. However, 95%+ of our items are available for shipment. We label each item as "In-Store Pickup Only" if the seller has opted out of shipping.
Again, I apologize you didn't have a great experience with Buya.
