Casey was so responsive every time I wrote an email. As soon as package arrived within a few days I got my full quoted money without questions. They even were nice enough to extend it a few days when I asked with time. Thank you!
I sold them a total of 4 phones, in two separate orders, 2 each. The first order they tried to talk me down $210 less and said the flawless iPhone 14 pro I sent in had dents and scratches and it definitely did not. They sent me photos and it looked like dust on the phone. I was unhappy so they gave me $190 of it back. Now the other two I sent they are telling me the conditions are not the way I described and offered the next tier down for each device, even though listed on their website the prices for those tiers were much higher. I do not suggest this company they hope you will just take less.
Good if you are desperate for cash quickly, but like others have said they are unreasonable about how they classify the condition of your phone. Mine was brand new I had used it for a couple of weeks, it had never even left my apartment and had no marks still had the box and everything and they knocked down my original offer.
They also don't have a direct deposit option so you have to use paypal and get a hefty fee or wait several weeks for a snail mail check.
If I had a couple more weeks it would be worth it to just sell it myself on craigslist or OfferUp. Probably won't use again if I'm in a hurry. They did have a quick turnaround of less than a week from mailing to payout.
Chose this company because their offer was slightly higher than the competition. Sent in a phone that was in near perfect condition. After the phone arrived they sent me photos of a phone with heavy deep scratches in the glass. Not my phone! They dropped my offer by $30 and said I could take the new offer or they could ship back my phone with these scratches... Total scam. It seems this company is outbidding competitors and then undercutting people when the phone arrives. Do not use this company. I have 3 other phones to switch out and will never use them again.
Buybackboss can't be trusted. I sent in my iPhone 8 Plus (flawless) they sent me a picture of a scratched up phone claiming to be mine. Saying they can only offer $59.00. Stupid people, I took pictures and a video of my phone before sending it in and clearly the comparison shows it's not my phone. My screen didn't have any scratches. The picture they sent the phone had dust on it and the screen was jacked up. Don't trust this company

I sent in my iPhone 12 Pro weeks ago. The staff immediately got in touch with and responded to my emails multiple times throughout the day so it thought it was a legitimate business. The second the said they sent my payment, Radio silence. I was told my check would be 3-5 days and It's been 3 weeks and I'm out $600 that I was promised and I can't even get my phone back. I have sent multiple emails and called and received no responses back.

I had a nearly new phone that was an elderly family member's, and she suddenly passed away. I needed help learning how to contact the carrier to unlock it. Customer service helped me and the same representative kept checking in with me to update me and let me know the progress they were making in processing my phone. In the end, I was paid more than the amount I was initially quoted. Very satisfied and highly recommend!
Tried 3 different sites and pretty much same experience on all. Price quoted online, sent in phone after evaluation price dropped and choice offered to accept or return of phone. Took a few emails to confirm acceptance of offer. Only site I accepted and only accepted because phone was pretty much just parts phone. After all the hoops and time involved probably just be throwing any others away.

I'm sorry to read this feedback! It appears the device sent in was placed under our "Damaged" condition category, however the device we received had an LCD defect and a cracked back glass. Because of this LCD defect, it fell under our "Broken" condition which caused a $2 deduction to the overall price we could offer. It sounds like this may have been the reason for the similar experiences with other sites.

Phones were in great shape but apparently they had "scratches" which both phones had always had protective glass screens and protective cases on at all times. They price was cut in half because of it and i didn't want to deal with the hassle of them returning it which I am sure is exactly why they pull that crap with ppl.

It appears you placed an order for two devices in "Good" condition, however upon testing the order we found deep scratching on both devices which caused them to move into the "Fair" condition. Deep scratching is categorized as scratches you can feel when running your fingernail across them in our testing process. We also remove all screen protectors and accessories when testing each device for accurate grading. I sent my tab they offered me 130$ for. They said it was locked even though I had reset it and a bunch of back and forth so I ended up having to send my password and just for them to say it was in good condition and offer me $0 lol then asked if I wanted to have it back or donate it. I said I wanted it back and it's been over a month and I got nothing. They had made the offer knowing what tablet it was and said it was in good condition. Right after that someone managed to hack my accounts which has never happened to me before. Wonder who did that. This company is a scam. Literally. My tablets exact modle number that I looked up when getting the quote was on there. I literally followed their exact instructions.

First off, I can assure you we didn't utilize any passwords or hack into any accounts. The device you sent in had a Samsung account still on the device which locked it and prevented us and any user from testing the device. The credential you sent to remove your Samsung account was used on the physical device you sent in to sell and we only used it to remove the Samsung account only. In no way would we misuse or reopen any credential provided.
Additionally, it appears the device sent in was not the model indicated in your order which is why the offer fell to $0. The device you sent in is not actually a device we purchase so we offered to recycle the item or get it sent back.

Buyback Boss makes selling your old devices simple. Fill out a form, get a label and a few days later you get paid. Great customer service and a liaison to assist through the process really set them apart from the competition.
I sent in my phone based on the original offer. They then "inspected" my phone and told me it was worth a third of the price. I had them send it back and it came back without the SIM card. They stole the SIM card! There is no way to contact them. Only an email address.

There's no contact information other than email. There's no way to confirm your not getting hustled. I did.

I hit a box yo send it there do I didn't have to pay anything and after they received and check the phone they told me my phone was in mint condition and I received even more than anticipated! I sent my phone to buyback boss. I put the phone covered with foam in a cardboard box, then I wrapped the box with extra foam and put them in another shipping box. I did a drop test 4 feet from the ground before the box was full sealed. And there was no damage to the phone and the box. But Buyback boss did not pay me. They said the phone is damaged. It is a scam. Do sell anything buyback boss, especially when you have a good phone. They will say your phone is damaged. It is a SCAM

Upon receiving an order, we unpack it and immediately place all devices into protective padded sleeves with your order label. From here we test the order for completion. Your order was tested and we emailed over the testing results. The testing results stated we received a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus under the “Damaged” condition due to a cracked back glass and screen separation. We included an updated offer price with the tested results to reflect the “Damaged” condition. After you received the testing results, you asked for your order to be sent back free of charge. We shipped your order back free of charge right away. The testing results only report what we receive and the condition we receive each item in from the mail carrier. If your item was not damaged prior to shipping, unfortunately it sounds like this happened during transit to us.

They emailed me a shipping label and within a few days of their receiving my iPad, I received a check for the agreed upon amount. Could not have been any simpler.
They will tell you they will give you one amount, then reduce it after they keep it for three weeks without paying you. When you tell them no send it back they scratch the screen and send it back to you! DO NOT Send them your phone

When placing an order on our site, the “Mint” condition is described to be a cosmetically flawless device with no noticeable wear. Upon receipt of the order, we found the device had noticeable wear in the form of a blemish on the back housing near the camera and at the charge port. Solely off of the contents of your review, it sounds like your order was placed under our "Mint" or "Good" condition. The "Mint" condition requires the device to be flawless with absolutely no wear on the device. The "Good" condition requires the device to have light use with no heavy or deep wear.
Again, based off of this review, it sounds like we tested the device as falling under our "Fair" condition, which is for devices that are fully functional but show heavy or deep wear on the device.
