Casey was so responsive every time I wrote an email. As soon as package arrived within a few days I got my full quoted money without questions. They even were nice enough to extend it a few days when I asked with time. Thank you!
I sold them a total of 4 phones, in two separate orders, 2 each. The first order they tried to talk me down $210 less and said the flawless iPhone 14 pro I sent in had dents and scratches and it definitely did not. They sent me photos and it looked like dust on the phone. I was unhappy so they gave me $190 of it back. Now the other two I sent they are telling me the conditions are not the way I described and offered the next tier down for each device, even though listed on their website the prices for those tiers were much higher. I do not suggest this company they hope you will just take less.
I had an iPhone X that I decided to sell with BuyBackBoss. They quoted me $164 based on the age and condition of the phone. When they received the phone, they told me the battery was older than expected and the offer turned out to be $40 to buy the phone. I asked for the phone to be returned since many other services were offering at least $140. The offer went up to $50 when I first asked for the phone to be returned. I said no again, and this time told them it was because I knew I could sell it for more Miraculously, the offer went up to $140, which I did ultimately accept.
I can't help but think this was a bit of a deceptive play on their part. If someone didn't know any better, they may have accepted the price of $40. I will not use them again.

I've only sold devices to them, never bought one from them. They are very professional and reasonable. They make it easy to do transactions as they ship you boxes and labels and you just ship the device(s) back! Then, they check the devices for condition and you get paid! Easy Peasy! I use them because I've only had great experiences with them so far...
A word of caution - I had a brand new Samsung Note 9, sent back to them in original packaging - original box - and estimated purchase price of $177. Once they had my phone, I received an email stating there was a scratch on the back of the phone and they were offering me $45. I asked for my phone back, sent it in a foam pad without the box. This whole process was a collossal waste of time and misrepresentation starting with the original quote. Keepping the phone for use on WiFi. Just a waste and total junk company.

The details of your order stated you were selling a “Good” fully functional Samsung Note 9 free of any cracks. Upon testing the device we discovered the device had cracks and chips in the back glass. We were able to send over photos of this. Unfortunately we cannot accept a device with cracks or chips under the “Good” condition as listed in our quoting process on the “Choose Your Condition” page. We always verify and test every order we receive for accuracy before issuing payment. Additionally, our policy for all packaging materials and accessories including boxes is listed on our site for easy reference when prepping your order. They quoted $100 for my Verizon Samsung 8+, upon receipt claimed my phone was damaged offered me $20, when I requested my phone be returned they sent me a much worse condition Samsung 8+ that was a T Mobile phone, clearly not my Verizon phone. I felt the whole interaction was sketchy and definitely not worth the hassle.

The reason the device powered on with T-Mobile as the startup screen was due to our testing procedure. We test devices with a T-Mobile SIM card to perform a test call on cellular capabilities. Your device is Verizon, Settings will always show and boot up with the last SIM card that was inserted in the device. Once you put your Verizon SIM card in, it will update accordingly in your Settings.
If you'd like to further inquire on the device you received, we'd be happy to help point you in the direction of verifying the correct device was sent back. I can assure you this is your device and there was no damage done once in our hands. Once received and unpacked, devices are instantly put into a padded sleeve to ensure protection. I sold a MacBook, and the quote I was given online was far more than what they paid out when they received the item. Once they had it, they claimed it was in less desirable condition than I had said. It wasn't, but paying for it to be returned to me wasn't worth the cost or hassle so I accepted the lower offer. Based on other reviews, this was a common experience.

Based on the email correspondance and the testing results, the device we received had more wear on the front screen with scratches on the bottom of the device. This wear placed the device into the “Fair” condition category instead of the originally described “Good” condition category. We’ll keep this feedback in mind for future improvements or additions to our site condition categories. BuyBackBoss tried to swindle me! I shipped my "mint" condition iPhone 8 to BuyBackBoss. They originally quoted me to buy it for $137. When they received it, they "inspected" it and said it had earphone damage and would offer me only $55. I refused and had it returned. I sent it to Apple's trade in partner Phobio. They inspected it and found it all good condition. They paid me $110. Don't use BuyBackBoss.

I've reviewed your order details. It seems the device in question is an iPhone 8 sent in under the "Mint" condition. We tested this device and found that the device's earspeaker was operating at a lower volume when at the highest setting compared to a standard factory Apple device. This tells us the earspeaker is damaged or partially blown out. We had our testing team and customer experience team both take a listen to the earspeaker and confirmed it was lower than the level it should be producing sound at while on the highest setting. Because of this the device fell under our "Damaged" category as listed on our site, instead of the "Mint" category. We communicated this to you via email and awaited your response on how you wanted to proceed with the order.
We were able to get this sent back to you free of charge at your request, which you are always able to do and we're more than happy to get that setup! We have no interest in "swindling" you and I'm sorry you felt that way. I returned 3 phones in mint condition. They of course downgraded everything to fair. I would never recommend this company. You are better off selling your device yourself on ebay or something.

Your order stated we would receive 4 devices in "Mint" condition. Our "Mint" condition requires devices to be flawless with no signs of wear as listed on our site. Each of the devices received had cosmetic wear or cracks in the screen which caused them to be reevaluated to a new condition.
Your Samsung Galaxy S7 was evaluated under our "Good" condition and your offer value did not change from your original quote. Two of your Samsung Galaxy A50 devices tested as "Fair" and "Good" due to heavy and noticeable wear. The fourth device had a cracked screen. Our "Mint" condition requires devices to be flawless with no signs of wear as listed on our site.

Everything went smoothly and quickly. Not a lot of communication emails sent, but received a message from paypal the money was deposited to my account, so it's all good!
This was my first time using Buyback Boss to sell my Iphone8 plus which was in pristeen condition. It had no scratches anywhere. The device I submitted was only a couple of months old as the original was damaged and replaced with a brand new one by my insurance carrier and was protected by a heavy duty case and screen protector on it from date purchased from Verizon
Bait and switch on price. NEVER took phone out of the case and yet somehow when they got it it had a bunch of scratches on the sides that now made it lower quality.
It appears that Buyback is obviously short changing seller by claiming that devices have noticeable scratches etc. "- Light Wear: This device has light but noticeable scratching on the body of the device" As such they knocked $30 off their original offer of 151. To top it off when they processed the payment I was charged $4 fee via paypal.
This company is definitely a bait and switch company that takes advantage of people by not giving them what they quoted on new phones.

Great experience with Buyback Boss The process to sell is simple, the price they offered was fair and the whole transaction was completed quickly They actually gave me more for my phone than they offered once they looked at it I would highly recommend them
Do Not use Buyback Boss. They are a SCAM. They quote you a higher price for your cellphone and when they receive it, they downgrade the condition of the phone and lower the price. Buyback Boss figures once they have the phone you will agree to the lower price. They are very slow to communicate about their downgrade. I sent them an iphone - 2 years old, owned by a senior citizen. It had a screen protector and case cover purchased at the Apple store when first purchased. This phone was used very little. No download of videos, no playing music, just an occasional telephone call. Yes this iphone was an overkill for this senior citizen but he likes apple produces. The senior citizen was my brother, 84 years old. When Buyback Boss received the phone they stated it had normal wear and tear. BULL. It was like new. I could not see any signs of wear and tear on this iphone. Buyback responds with canned text. Buyback Boss is a SCAM. AVOID using them. There are more reputable companies to sell your phone. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. STAY AWAY FROM BUYBACK BOSS.

Buyback says the condition is not as described to them. BULL. This iphone was like new. No scratches No blemish always since new with screen protector and case. This is how they make more money by scamming unknowing customers. You have been warned.

Additionally, I can guarantee that the bait and switch mentality that you are suggesting is not how we operate. I reviewed your order details and it looks like the item of concern is with the iPhone X that was requoted from $300 to $280. The device was received in a used condition and best fit our "Good" condition category due to noticeable scratching on the edges of the device. As stated on our site when placing an order, any device with everyday signs of use would fall under our "Good" condition. We communicated this with you via email and were able to send 4 photos over of the wear we were experiencing. Once reviewed, you elected to proceed with payment.

This condition requires the device to have a battery with a battery quality above 80% or higher. The battery quality results were lower than 80%.
