Casey was so responsive every time I wrote an email. As soon as package arrived within a few days I got my full quoted money without questions. They even were nice enough to extend it a few days when I asked with time. Thank you!
I sold them a total of 4 phones, in two separate orders, 2 each. The first order they tried to talk me down $210 less and said the flawless iPhone 14 pro I sent in had dents and scratches and it definitely did not. They sent me photos and it looked like dust on the phone. I was unhappy so they gave me $190 of it back. Now the other two I sent they are telling me the conditions are not the way I described and offered the next tier down for each device, even though listed on their website the prices for those tiers were much higher. I do not suggest this company they hope you will just take less.
They did as they told me. Got me the money for what they quoted me for and a lot more than gazelle. Go with these guys. And the customer service was great!
I think the pricing is fair and direct. The customer service and tracking of the order is exceptional. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and available.
I sold them a Verizon galaxy 5g Phone I sent them a original box with accessories when they changed the price I requested it be shipped back to me they sent me someone else's phone and it was a t mobile phone no original box or accessories I got someone else's phone I filed a complaint with the better business burea on this matter they scam you all the way around don't sell your phone to them

I shopped the sites and chose BuyBackBoss based on the offer they quoted. I received an email many days later that the value was drastically reduced. I reshopped based on the condition they graded it and sent the link as they asked me to so they could match it.
I even contacted the other company to ensure I was giving an accurate description of my Iphone 7 - 128GB. Their issue was the battery life - 78%. The competition did not devalue the phone unless it was below 50%.
They responded after I did exactly as they asked and was denied based on their explanation of: "Unfortunately, their standards are different than ours, so since we do deduct for poor batteries (anything below 80% according to Apple standards) we are not able to match to their "Good" pricing."
Why have a guarantee of price matching if you are going to change your policy in mid transaction? I checked their site for the conditions of the price match and could not find any "qualifiers" concerning who they will match.
What a waste of time and aggravation.

Your order was placed as a “Good” condition iPhone 7. The “Good” condition’s battery health requirement listed in our quoting process is an 80% battery health with no service indicators. Unfortunately, the device didn’t meet the battery health requirements, and we sent you the device’s testing results with our updated offer. You opted to have the device sent back and mentioned other higher offers from competitors.
We offered to price match as a courtesy during the order to help get you a higher payout as you had mentioned the other competitors.
I can assure you we offered the price match with the full intention of paying a higher price if the price match was comparing the same device condition requirements. Since their battery health requirement was not the same and therefore not comparing the same device condition requirements, we were unable to price match the offer.

I sent in my iPhone 15 Pro Max, which they quoted online as $757 for Good condition. My phone had spent its entire life in a case and the battery health was at 90%. I took pictures before sending it in and wrapped it up securely in the manufacturers box. A week after the phone had been delivered I reached out as I had not heard anything. They stated that it had arrived and that they would inspect the phone within 10 business days of delivery. 11 business days go by and I don't hear anything so I reach out again. They respond that they need my IMEI number because they can't find my phone. After providing, they said they found it and will have it inspected right away. Another 2 days go by and I don't hear anything. I reach out again and am told someone will reach out with my estimate. I then receive an email that my phone has heavy scratching on the screen and they are reducing the offer to $455 ($300 less than original quote). They provided no pictures of the scratching in their first email. I respond back with pictures of the phone clearly showing that no scratches were present the day the phone was sent out. I tell them to send me my phone back. Another 2 days goes by and someone from another company, GadgetGone, responds back and now offers $520. In this email they do provide pictures of the phone. They claim they did not scratch my phone purposely to reduce the payout. I request my phone back.
I believe that both Buyback Boss and GadgetGone are quoting high payouts but as soon as you send it to them, they offer significantly lower payouts. Additionally, since phone value is highest right before or after a new iPhone has been released their slow response times and losing my device reduced its value. I am waiting for my phone to be shipped back to me so I can inspect it and consider what action to take next. Luckily I documented my phone's condition with a lot of pictures before sending it to them.

During testing is was discovered that your device did had severe LCD burns (also known as ghost image) is the reason for the reduction on the offer amount. This defect is listed in our quoting process when placing an order on our site. We were able to send photos of the LCD burns for clarification on the issue, to which you responded with a screenshot you took on the device itself. The screenshot you took is a digital image of the current display on your phone rather than the physical LCD screen itself. I know we spoke via email but I wanted to respond here.
It looks like your order was originally placed as a Brand New Samsung S21 Plus 5G Verizon device. The Brand New condition requires the device to be fully sealed from the outside of the box with the device unused. Upon testing the device, we discovered we actually received a Good Samsung S21 5G Verizon device. There are two differences in what the order stated and what we received, this is due to the device not being a Brand New sealed and unused device along with the device model being an S21 not an S21 Plus. Because of these differences, the offer was adjusted to fit the appropriate device details.
We did get your device sent back free of charge as you had requested. We did send the appropriate device back to you and your device is still a Verizon device. The device states T-Mobile in Settings and in the power up screen because we test devices with a T-Mobile SIM card to perform a test call. Your device is Verizon, Settings and the power up screen will always show the last SIM card that was inserted in the device. Once you put your Verizon SIM card in, it will update accordingly in your Settings and power up screen. Sorry for the confusion there. If you would like to confirm this, you can check your IMEI number (found in settings) of the device we sent back with your carrier you can do so.
As far as any accessories or boxes sent with the device, these items are responsibly recycled when unpacking the order. There is no way for us to ship these back to you as they have been responsibly recycled. This policy is listed on our site in the FAQ section.
