Exactly like the one from Comcast, except I own this! After saving $10 per month for 12 months, itll pay for itself and forward will put that $10 in my pocket! How can you beat a deal like that? Very happy!
Works just as good as the one that Optimum just started charging me for (same model). You just have to call Optimum prior to set up and they will ask for some number that is on both modems. Another plus, optimum's modem never came with a battery back-up. This one does, so my land lines should still work for a while if the power goes out.
I would stay away from this company at all costs and don't let the cheap prices suck you in. They are refurbished equipment and do not work. Spectrum says that the modem is defective but this site says I purchased the wrong model and that the device is fine. However it is the same modem I currently have operating on my Spectrum connection with no problems but this same model at my mom's house will not work. Now the company is sending me nasty emails and you have to pay to return the defective device to them and they charge you a 20% restock fee instead of refunding your money while it is under their warranty period. What a BS company to deal with. Most other companies just replace or refund in full if the product is bad. STAY AWAY!
They sell used equipment for twice the price as eBay, fine print restocking fee that they want to charge even if they didn't process the order yet. This site is a joke, I made the mistake of ordering here, I hope you don't.
Customer ordered an item from us and confirmed that he didn't perform the due diligence in reading the items description page BEFORE purchase and then filed a claim on Paypal for an item not received instead of cancelling the order. So the item was shipped and the buyer just refused the item and created a whole mess in what should have been a simple cancellation. Please Please Please just read what you are buying as this certainly was a waste of time and money for both parties for what is an easily preventable issue of read before you buy. Also, we sell the same item on Ebay and Amazon so you are ironic is saying one should just buy from Amazon or Ebay as it the same seller and perhaps it may have been the buyer that could be the common factor and the one who could have prevented purchasing the wrong thing. We have over 99.6% on Amazon and Ebay as a TOP RATED SELLER and have over 3000 POSITIVE REVIEWS on our website so if providing a 1 year warranty for our customers so for those who are able to read the items description page and purchase the right model for their provider they don't have any issues, unfortunately this was not the case in this transaction. So again, PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY AND COMMUNICATE BEFORE OPENING CASES AND MAKING THE SITUATION WORSE AND THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN AN EASY RESOLVE.
Yesterday, 9/23 my bank finally credited me for the defective modem this company sent me a month ago 8/22 I returned 8/26 because (1.) It was not refurbished as they claimed but just used because they did not even do a factory reset and still had prior used account info in it (2.) It was defective and CenturyLink support could not get it to work as the wifi transmission would cease to work within 5 to 10 minutes of start up costing time and lots of frustration. (3) Company attitude is the worst ever... "too bad so send it back at your cost for refund or replacement." It has been 25 days since it was delivered back for a refund at my cost and they still did not refund the money. I had the credit card charge reversed of course at my time to complete the documentation and at my cost to send back their defective product. Never ever would I recommend this company who does not even have a phone number to call.

Very sorry to hear that you ordered the wrong model for your provider as unfortunately such returns can be preventable by checking with your provider before purchase. In fact, we don't even list your provider as a compatible model for their service for this very reason because the firmware on the units we sell is different then the ones your providers uses as rental units so we tried to help you but not listing your provider but you purchased it anyways. You will also see online on Amazon and Ebay the same story that it won't work with your provider and so with a little due diligence or by simply asking us regarding the model the we would have been happy to assist you. Instead you order a modem we don't list to work with your provider, then leave us a 1 star review when against our recommendation you buy it anyways and sure enough it doesn't work? We are sorry that you don't agree with the restocking fee that was assessed as again we did ship you the exact model you ordered but unfortunatley you purchased an item that is not compatible for your service. This despite even being presented with a notice stating that before you can complete checkout please confirm that you have read the items description page word for word as you can't complete checkout from us without acknowledging or accepting such terms so that we can prevent these preventable misunderstanding from happening. In reality we don't have this problem very often thank goodness and in fact have THOUSANDS OF POSITIVE REVIEWS on our website, over 95% positive feeback on Amazon, and are a Top rated seller on Ebay with years of taking care of our customers as you can't just "Fake" reviews on these sites but I understand how you would need to say that in order to make it look like you are not the 4% of people who just flat out didn't read what you were buying and then went on a witch hunt after the fact when you found out this was the case.
We certainly try and our best to serve our customers the best we can as is proven by our track record on multiple sites but unfortunatley we can't prevent customers who don't read before they buy and just make assumptions and unfortunatley we are bound to have a few and it makes it tough try and help but the review sites such as this provide a great environment for such to vent instead of take responsibility.
