Buy Your Own Modem

I received my modem and router combo in very short order, well packaged and as advertised. I did my due diligence re: setups, provider provisioning and system integration. The equipment worked from the start, and integration was smooth and per researched instructions.
Thanks to Butyourown/Ownyourmodem I'm going streaming, cutting the TV and landline cords and saving 2/3 of my monthly fees to my ISP.

I ordered the Arris DG1670A to replace my leased Spectrum modem (which was the exact same model). The modem arrived within a couple of days, hooked it up, called Spectrum tech support to activate it, and it has performed perfectly so far.

In all fairness I changed out my modem with the exact same make and model number. I'm sure this did help. Overall the setup was simple and worth the small amount of effort.
