Notorious establishments don`t care for positive reviews. Worst courier service I have ever used. They do not answers calls at local office, the live agent not responding and never update web site. Have my urgent package with them for three days (35 minutes drive) but I have no way to check the actual status except (out for delivery and will be delivered by the end of day). My e-bike was shipped from Vancouver to Montreal with "Special Handling". Got an email notice that the box would arrive on Friday between 9:00 and end of day. (Whenever that is.) The box did NOT arrive. Not notice from Canpar when it would be delivered. I called customer service at 7:45 PM: "It will be delivered today!" Nope - no delivery. Customer service closes at 8 Friday night, and would not re-open until Tuesday, as it was a long weekend. The box arrived Tuesday - complete with a huge hole and missing items from the box. (I discovered after taking delivery. The hole was taped shut with a piece of clear packing tape.) I sent an email to the bike shop - they sent me a photo of a very pristine box with all the stuff in it. Grrr. Only the shipper can make a claim. The bike shop is sending me the missing items for free. (Yay). Canpar? BOO.

They tried to deliver to the wrong addresses. When informed of their mistake the refused another delivery attempt. Live chat agent refused to connect me to a supervisor when I requested it. Asked for her supervisor a second time and she literally hung up on me. Maybe they should rebrand as Can't par.
I live in England and ordered a gift basket from a company in Canada. Why o why but they sent it canpar. This company can't find the house? Instead of ringing or emailing me,it just sitting in a warehouse. Can you speak to anyone?NO...can you contact them?...NO! The help line does not exist, any customer support does not exist, this company HAS to BE FRAUD because they are certainly a DISCRASS!@

Avoid at all cost
First they lost my bag in august2022 and I am still asking them for compensation. They ask for invoices I had in that bag. If I had predicted the future that canpar will lost my bag then I surely kept the receipts. Extremely poor service. Never ever going to take their services. I will suggest if you want to book with them by seeing cheaper price, they will surely lost your bag/package.
Pick up scheduled before noon (per CanPar instructions) for pickup by 8pm. CanPar sent a confirmation by email that the pickup was scheduled but they did not show up. They do not answer their phone, they do not respond to the useless chat thing on their website, and shockingly, they do not provide any email addresses so you can contact the company. If you are a business and your clients expect on-time deliveries, I would strongly recommend against doing business with CanPar.

I didn't -- they did not show up to pick up package
It is the second time they are supposed to deliver my orders (worth 3k$).
The first time it said they delivered but I was home working next to the window that shows the stairs to come to my house and they never came and the package was shown as delivered. I contacted them, they told me I would have news by the night but nothing.
Then I contacted the seller and filed a stolen report to have my order sent again. I asked the seller to request a signature to make sure they actually come to my house and deliver my package. But even then, they didn't deliver and signed on my behalf...
This is problematic because it says that I signed and it is used as proof from the seller to say I received it even though I didn't. Even insurance companies don't accept this claim...
DO NOT do business with them
I ordered an item online, and the packaging was CLEARLY labeled as FRAGILE and had several This Way Up stickers. I came home to find the package upside down after it was dragged up stairs by one person when the box says lift with 2 people! The cardboard was dented and had a couple of puncture marks on it. Needless to say my item was broken and there is no customer complaint number to call
This is the most useless company to do business with. The chat agents are very unprofessional, lack empathy and do not take ownership. My package was to be delivered on Friday and they had not told me anywhere that i had to be home to sign for it so imagine my surprise when they left me a notice card. I stayed home on Monday as the notice card stated delivery will be attempted again on the next business but no one showed up throughout. I chatted with them and they had no response as to why they didn't deliver on the next business day as promised. I chatted them again on Tuesday to ask them to deliver without signature but they still went ahead and took my package back with them. Now I've asked them to let me come pick up because I won't resign my job because of my package and they still have not provided me a response. If you like your peace, avoid THE MOST USELESS DELIVERY COMPANY.
You think you shall give a Canadian company a chance... I have spent much more in the dollar I saved from this shower. Dear Lord how do companies survive like this.
I ordered something using my Air Miles and it was shipped out by Can-Par. I live in an apartment and the driver came when I was not home. The 'sorry we missed you' tage gave a tracking number. It did not say if they would attempt re-delivery or offer a number to call or offer a point of pick-up if no redelivery would be attempted. I finally found a number on line for a Surrey Office but this only leads to a recorded loop that says "we cannot complete your request" or something. Many people complained of the same problem on Google. A few days later my wife entered the tracking number and discovered that my package had been delivered to a facility in Vancouver where I can go to pick it up. I am relieved my package can now be retrieved but honestly even UPS (which is bad) is much better at customer service than this. It would be simple to create a user-friendly tracking service and informative door tags but I guess they are very cheap so they don't need to bother with good service. I strongly advise not using this company who does not care about the customer experience at all.

Merchants in Canada or US should NEVER use Canpar courier service! You will lose customers this way, as they do not answer their phones or respond to clients via live chat, and they do not have any viable solutions to help you.
Canpar's delivery people leave packages on front doorsteps and sign on the recipient's behalf classifying it as "delivered". This is fraudulent. They do not ring the recipient's doorbell or give an opportunity to sign. I'm not sure what their screening process is for delivery people, but the bar must be set extremely low.
Furthermore, when you try to call Canpar, they do not answer and you will continually get a busy signal from their *******335 number. If you happen to win the lottery and get through, you can expect to wait a long time. I was on the phone waiting for an agent for over 50 minutes. They keep promoting their live chat tool, but even that is a failure, because you wait longer than 10 minutes. And, here's the kicker, after 5 minutes the live chat is rendered INACTIVE.
Gave a rating of one because there is no option to give -*******. Canpar.com should be banned from the entire world. The service is CRAP! The people so unprofessional they do not follow instructions nor understand what collaboration means! I sent a gift to my daughter for delivery on August 9th 2023 for her birthday. I clearly stated in plain English to call her in case she is not home, the driver at Canpar.com did not call her and literally two minutes later my daughter was home. Had he called her as I have instructed she would have got her package. Since August 9th I've been communicating via email live chat and calling their 1 800 number more that 23 times! They said the driver is reattemptimg delivery I said to just leave the package in front of her door! They said they tried delivery again and did not leave the packs in front of the door as I have instructed. Literally they do not under What LANGUAGE means! They are so prehistoric! No solution at alllllll. Finally I spoke to a human being and she said it will be available for pick up today. My daughter ended up changing her schedule at school got a ride 30 minutes away from her house to get to the location to pick up her package to find it ruined! The cake is smashed! The orchid plant dead! I am never dealing with canpar I am very frustrated and disappointed I wanted to do something beautiful for my daughter's birthday and the results were horrifying. Too bad I'm unable to upload screenshots! The plant is dead the cake is smashed as if someone beat the hell out of it.
Poor service, hour wait times on phone.They lost our parcel and returned it to sender THREE times. Seriously!
In my experience, they don't make much of an attempt to deliver items.
