Im tired of talking to customer support and their canned responses that are lies. "We want to keep your money safe, so we can't let you access it through Zelle." What? That means none of my money in the account I just logged into in order to access Zelle is safe!
It's a lie. I can't tell you how tired I am of "safety" being used to advance self-interest. Just say -- "can't help you." and leave it at that.
Capital one always has some bs going on when you call them about a problem. I closed my account years ago for this reason but recently got sucked back into them. How you make a payment on a credit, it gets deducted from account, then they tell you you have to wait 4 days to use YOUR FUNDS
I applied for a capital one secured credit card about three years ago, recently asked them to bump up my credit amount mind you I have made all my payments on time. And they responded that I have insufficient credit history. Thanks Capital One where is my $100.00 deposit?
CapitalOne is one of the best cards I have for long time. The customer service is really good and quick always helpful. And it's security is good. If they see any suspicious transactions they call you right away or block the card, I only had that problem once. Recommend to everyone.
I had to delete a checking account because it was hacked.
After being informed of a payment error, I resolved it within 2 days. That was not good enough for them!
After 10+ years, they couldn't waive the 40 dollar fee.
I don't like dealing with ppl like that. TOO GREEDY!
Capital One's dispute department is a joke. I had recorded phone calls as proof of my attempts to resolve the issue with the merchant (Vroom) and Capital One told me they could not use them. The last straw for me was when I spoke with a fraud and dispute manager named Shane who told me (after I mentioned that I record all of my phone calls) that if I did not say aloud that I was no longer recording the call, they would disconnect. This was even after I reminded them that Capital One's greeting states that all calls are being recorded and monitored. I will never do business with Capital One again.
Paid my balance in full then was sent a bill for interest. When no one told me I would get another charge after account was paid off. Set on hold for 30 min and was told by rep and senior leadership they couldn't help.
I disputed a charge that i made on my card and submitted all the evidence to substantiate my claim. Capital one agreed that i proved my case, but still continued to ask for more info and more documents. I gave them everything they asked for. They dragged me around like this for two months, then they told me that it's after sixty days and they are closing my claim because i have to make the claim within sixty days.
In fact i made the claim within a week, but they dragged the time until the two months passed.
I opened a CD account with Capital One because they had a better rate than other banks. They had some technical issue at the time and I couldn't fund my CD. A couple days later they asked me to open a new CD so that I could fund that one because the first one would not be able to funded EVER. So I went ahead and follow their instructions. Since a few days had gone by, the rate had changed. They assured me that they would honor the old rate. Well it's been a month an a half since then and all I'm getting is excuses as to why this hasn't been resolved. It's extremely frustrating when customer service gives you the line as if they were a government agency. HELLO capital one! You're a private company and we have choices, if you don't fix your ways, we will go elsewhere!
I have 3 capital one credit cards. If you make a payment online for one card, and go to the next card, the balance and info for the other card shows. On one account, they charged me $40.00 because they said I was $4.28 short of the minimum payment on one card. Yet, I paid like $400 on another account. It was a simple error. The Senior Acct Manager I spoke to said "Oh sorry, he can't issue a waiver. He's the highest I'm going to get in terms of management." Capital One is publicly traded, and this is the response I get? Rather than being helpful this man was antagonizing and condescending. It's not acceptable. I don't recommend Capital one at all!
Answer: No really I can't I mean from the very beginning they said they mailed it and then a week later when I called and they had not mailed it yet when I checked my bank they take the money out of my bank and then tell me they're going to hold the money for 7 days to make sure the money is there I think they take the customers for granted in a big bad way
Answer: From my experience, they appear to be nothing but a shady scam bank.
Answer: They offered nice rewards back It sounded more impressive than it is. Big mistake.
Answer: This is the same issue I'm having with Capital One. They make mistakes and then drag their feet and act like nothing is wrong.
