Dan as very accommodating to my schedule. We spoke on several occasions until I had time to decide on which plan. I have been happy with Carchex for the past 102K miles and will be a customer as long as they extend the mileage limits. You have a good product and Dan is that special type of Representative for today's busy schedules.
Thanks Dan,
Art
Davon Collins did an amazing job getting me the best deal and coverage. He was professional and answered all my questions. He went beyond any expectations I had of making sure I had exactly what I needed. I have not had to use the policy but I feel confident that I am covered if a problem every occurs.
Easy to work with and reviews of company were excellent------------$50 a month seemed a good deal for a 5 year ******* mile policy; with care repairs so costly especially with higher end cost vehicles, even a physician,as myself, appreciates piece of mind The reviews of the company in deciding which company to look at were excellent with great testimonials
My experience with carchex with Mr. Dunn was great, I haven't actually used the service yet but I am hoping that they will provide everything that we discussed over the phone.
When I purchased the warranty I was not told that I had to wait until one month or 1000 miles to used the warranty. I was stranded and no one would assist me. I would now like to cancel the warranty. It was also very hard to reach someone on the phone.
So the outcome of the claims inspector's review was to deny any and all coverage because the cause, in his determination, was an uncovered part, the serpentine belt. So just how did he arrive at that conclusion instead of considering that the belt was first damaged by a covered part, like the compressor pulley seizing or binding? Also, when asked for a copy of the report to review for myself how that conclusion was made, I was told that the report is proprietary and unavailable to the customer. I could, however, submit such a request in writing, and, only if honored, would take up to 30 days to get it. I did have a pleasant conversation with a representative from CARCHEX, but he was not able to override the decision of the claims administrator, Assurant, in denying me the ability to receive a copy of the inspector's report. Funny, I thought Assurant works for CARCHEX, not the other way around!
You think the 1 and 2 star reviews with complaints are just grumpy people who are never satisfied? No, pay attention to the negative reviews because they are real, as is mine. CarChex claims inspectors take their dear sweet time to let the repair facility know what is and is not covered. And then they nickel and dime their approval. I'm in for my second major repair since having the policy for 3.5 years now. First was a brake caliper failure causing severe damaged to the rotor. Well, the caliper replacement was covered but not the rotor, because it says so in the coverage documents. But they make no exception when the damaged rotor is BECAUSE of the failed caliper! Now I am waiting 48 hours for the inspectors report to repair an A/C problem with "multiple failures." And according to customer service, it may take an additional 2-3 hours for the inspector's report to be complete and inform the dealership's service department. It is Friday of Labor Day weekend, do you think my vehicle will be completed before the end of the day? Probably not since the estimated labor time according to the mechanic is 8-9 hours. Plus, CarChex will not call you to inform you of the outcome and if they will approve a rental car. YOU have to continually call their "inbound only" customer service to get that information! If the inspector was a qualified mechanic, carrying with him a CarChex approved labor rate resource, he should be able to make the determination on sight, instead of taking pictures, going back to the office and reviewing the repair, with whom ever he reports to, in order to make what appears to me to be a simple decision.
Quick and easy super knowledgeable agent that had great coverage quoted in lightning fast moment easiest part of buying a used car. Fair price, I hope to never need the coverage but hope using it is as good as the experience of signing up
Strange process not like anything that I asked about when signing up over the phone about the ease of possible cancelling my contract within thirty days. I call it a run-around answer. After jumping through the hoops and getting a Notary to sign an affidavit that I actually found out over my own efforts to call that that was not really necessary.
When I called to inquire about extended warranties I dealt with a knowledgeable helpful and kind customer service rep named Leon. He talked me through the different packages and also sought another service rep for the person who reffered me in order for them to receive their referral bonus. Thanks again for your help Leon.
Person from carchex that contacted me was polite gave me all the information I needed and answered all my questions which determined me to purchase a policy. Overall very happy with my carchex experience
Answer: Guaranteed there are many companies who Are less expensive. This company just takes your money. Once you pay 80 -90 percent. They become arrogant and don't care if you get upset and quit... They got a brunch of free money from you...
Answer: Not hard to reach the company. But hard to get them to honour the contract...
Answer: They will tell you the item is not covered, even if you see it on the contract...
