I was not able to install the PCM due to caring for elderly parent and was getting close to 60day return window. I simply returned it for Refund and figured I could reorder when I had time to work on this vehicle. They communicated that would be fine, BUT, when I got the refund it was missing $100, (WHAT?!?) Turns out they charge a programming fee and restock fee...(which they did not communicate when I asked if I could return for refund) So in short, to not even get to try it, cost me $100 ( and I paid shipping both ways) Needless to say don't think I will try them when I get around to working on my van again. Maybe not so "Iron Clad Guarantee" buyer beware!
Easy to use just type your car and it popped up with what I needed
Solved my issues. The process was easy start to finish including returning the core. Thank you!
Fast friendly and works 👍 great ********(*************************************************************************************************
The whole purchase process helps to ensure that a replacement PCM is programmed completely. I did not have actual part number for the original PCM as it was at the Ford dealer doing the installation. CCE contacted Ford to get the original Part number using the VIN. No problems with the programming which the Ford dealer said was common when replacing a PCM.
I purchased a PCM for my jeep and submitted all information that they requested, the VIIN which tells you everything about the vehicle, the year make model, they charged me $418 and shipped it. I installed the PCM and my jeep would not run, it would just crank. I shipped the PCM back to them along with pictures of the diagnostics from their installed PCM and the original. They shipped me another PCM, the jeep would start and run for a second and shut off. I once again shipped it back along with diagnostic paperwork pictures and emailed them everything. I asked for my money back because twice they failed to meet their end of the obligation. They refunded $218 of the $418 and claimed their return policy. Return policy only works if i decided i did not want the equipment but in this case i did want it but what they sent me was faulty. Dealing with this company was a HUGE mistake and Buyers Remorse/Beware. According to their policy i should have received my refund within 10 business days, however, it took almost 3 weeks to receive a partial refund. I have emails to back up my claim including diagnostic pictures. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, they will ship faulty equipment. Customer satisfaction is not an option for this company. I tried calling with no results, i have sent several emails (around 7) giving them information and pictures to substantiate my claims along with hard copies when shipping back their faulty equipment.
The only thing I'd suggest is better/timely tracking information, and a more visible requirement and instructions to send back a core, right up front. I expected that, but - and it could be operator error - didn't see it until the replacement unit physically arrived.
Easy to order. Took a little longer than expected to receive. My mechanic now has it to do the install.
Item arrived as described. No problems and will return the core asap!
So far good experience, waiting for contact to submit vin
Called, and promptly received needed information. Received the product within days. Mechanic followed directions and got my car started! Thank you so much.
Answer: No, they sent us 2 non-working ECUs and I had to file a complaint with the credit card company to get my money back.
Answer: It would be easier to give a full grown lion an enema.
Answer: There are only really two ways to reach this company. The first way is to call the number and ignore all other menu prompt options and just press 1 for sales. It's all they care about. Otherwise you will be listening to elevator music for thirty minutes before getting dropped out of the system and calling back. The other way is to send an email and wait two to three days for a poorly typed one sentence response that doesn't fully address your issue, and this will go back and forth for a week until you finally get somewhere. Good luck and Godspeed. The other
