They've raised their prices within the past 5-7 years, so you have to search out the deals and coupons, but their clothes are of a higher quality than most plus sized clothes. It's the best place for extended plus. If you're a regular plus, Kohls has better prices. If you have an issue and need customer service, call, don't web chat.
If there is one thing I know for sure it is that when a Brick&Mortar store was popular and it goes "Online only" and there are LOTS of negative reviews, steer clear. I haven't purchased, nor will I be purchasing anything from Catherines Online. They have more ONE STAR reviews than any well-established store should have. From quality of product, to shipping costs, to returns. Just horrible reviews. No thanks, who needs that headache. BTW the shipping costs really are criminal, just obscene.
Placed an order on 7/13 for ONE item. It wasn't shipped until 7/22. The delivery date was 7/27. On 7/27 the delivery date changed to 7/29. On 7/29 the delivery date became 8/3. They will not cancel the order because "it has shipped" and I have to wait 30 days. I do not believe it has shipped and will never purchase from them again. I needed the item for 7/27 and will be returning it if ever it arrives.

Opened Catherine card in store. Somehow my card was associated with another persons account and they closed my account. I contacted Customer Service, they so called fixed my issue but the next day they closed my account again. Therefore i went into store twice to look like a fool thinking I could use my card. I called Customer Service back and they want me to send in hard copy front and back of my ID and SSN and a bill with my address and name on it. That is very dangerous this day and time to do. They need to update the system so that we can send via email. I would be a fool to send my info through the mail. This is VERY unprofessional. Now I have to find somewhere else to spend my money because this situation sucks and its not even my fault. There should be a better way to identify me other than sending my personal info in the mail which is STUPID

When I return an item back in May and they received it in May. They took forever to process my refund. I had to call 4 times asking about my refund when it should only take 7-10 business days to process the return.
Called again today and the gentleman named Joseph claimed that he processed my return and I got to wait another 5 business days.
Additionally, they was late sending my item off because it was a different address than the billing address. I had to call 2 times just to get them to send the item off.
Let just say this is 1st and last time dealing with Catherines. Smh

I have found their site to be easy to navigate. I found having the live chat to ask questions to be very helpful. I feel the clothes are of a very good quality. I love being able to pick the order up at the store. You may also make your returns at the store's so you don't have to pay any return fees.

I received the wrong item, and Catherine's would not expedite correction of my order, and wanted me to pay for my own shipping. I will NEVER shop from this company again… the lack of customer service is unacceptable.

I over pay my account every month! I call one day and I am told I owe so much. The next I owe more! I am sick of these people! I pay via my M/Card now if I purchase from them! I returned 2 blouses to Cathrine's on June 3 via usps. According to the tracking number they were picked up on June 10 at 11:33 pm in at a postal facility in Indianapolis, IN. I have written several emails and I spoke to an individual in customer service, and they cannot locate my return. This is ridculous. I am going to have to pay for 2 blouses that are not in my possession. This is my first and last time purchasing from Catherines.

"Buy 1 Get 1 Free" is stated on their website when purchasing pantyhose. I purchased 3 pairs online and I did not see my free pair posted in my order. Bottom Line: they gave me the run-around and I did not receive a free pair of pantyhose! SCAM!

I purchased a item online $36.85. I thought it was a dress with a jacket but it was only a duster. Anyway, I called to research how to return the item. I opted to drive to the nearest store which was 35 min. Away. I returned the item to the store. I was sent a partial refund for 22.39. I called to find out why I only rec'd a partial refund. They sent another partial refund of 2.05 was issued. Then another credit for 2.19. To much for a first experience!

It took them over 2 months post their shipment date to send my order. I tried cancelling order via phone - couldn't get a human or leave vmail. Emailed them and it took 3 weeks for a reply. Just before reply sent, merchandise shipped/received… they can't bill orig source, won't take return… scam! I will never order from Catherine's or parent company full brands (swimsuits 4 all, woman within and king size)! Bye bye….

Ordered almost $400 in pants on august 25th. Delivered in 2 shipments. 2nd shipment contained the wrong items despite having the right packing slip. Customer service issued a return labeled after almost a week of back and forth of them saying the images of proof were too large for the email. Tracking the package says it was received on september 19th and 2 months later and many ignored emails later, still no refund. Catherines has stolen nearly $140 from me.

I ordered something that was in stock on 4/23. By 5/5 my item was still listed as not shipped. I called to cancel the order on 5/5. After 45 minutes on hold, I was told I could not cancel the order because it was in process. I sent an email to Customer Service on 5/5 Requesting that the order be cancelled. On 5/10 the item finally shipped and customer service responded on 5/12 that they can't cancel it. So I couldn't cancel an order that took 5 additional days to ship after my request to cancel. Now I have to pay to and from shipping for an item I don't need because the event I ordered it for already happened. It's not worth the aggravation to do business with this company. I was a loyal customer for many years. Now they charge huge shipping fees and their customer service is non-existent. Lane Bryant has my business now and I'm very happy with my service, shipping fees, and shipping times. Don't waste your time or money on Catherine's. If I could give a zero rating, I would.

This place is HORRIBLE. They shipped the wrong color. I was told to send the wrong one back and they would ship out the correct item, but it would take 5-7 business days AFTER they received my return. I ordered this item on 09 DEC.it took them over 11 days to get me. Now that the wrong item was shipped. They cant get the new one to my until after the New Year. This was a Christmas present to my mom. SO now I am scrambling to get mom something else. Also when you call "Customer Service" it is offshored.

If could give a 0 I would.I ordered 2 coats 304.00 sent them back, chose the gift card in effort to get full amount back to repurchase larger sizes. Called in several times to inquire about gift card and to ensure amount. Both times I was told that I would be refunded the entire amount...I only wanted to purchase larger size. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

It took a long time for shipping to occur. I finally emailed (there didn't seem to be a number I could call) them and asked them to cancel the order and not to charge my credit card. Lo and behold, right after that email, I was informed by them that they were shipping my order. The event for which I ordered the clothing was over by the time I received the order, plus I wasn't very happy with the clothing, so I sent it back. Then I was informed via email that a restocking fee would be applied and that anything I bought on sale would not be refunded, but would be given to charity. It's wonderful to give to charity, but this is not the right way to do it. All this frustration, including the very high shipping cost, very slow shipping, terrible customer service, and the "refund" situation leaves me feeling rather deceived and taken advantage of. I will never order from this company again, and I'm hesitant to order from any company affiliated with them.

You wait FOREVER for your order. The tracking information is just plain wrong. I was on hold for a half hour before their phone system hung up on me. They tell you nothing in their emails. I used to shop in their stores because I like their clothing. My first (and now only!) order on line has only been partially received. DON'T EVER SHOP ON LINE AT CATHERINE'S! Never Again! You've lost a good customer forever!

I visited your store in Longview Texas & was greeted by your employee-Lytandra (store#*******). She is a real asset to Catherines. Ms Lytandra was exceptionally polite throughout my transaction. She was extremely patient& helpful to me. Being in a wheelchair didn't alter her profession attitude & helpfulness to other customers. Ms Lytandra made my shopping experience delightful. I ordered three bras at $49. Each. Size 3 8d. One of them was the wrong size but probably wouldn't fit anyway. I measured the band size and they were 30" and 32". Tried to get a return label and they don't do that. So you have to pay the shipping to get the product and return it. I am two hours from the store.

They have a program going on right now that says spend $50 today and receive $25. But what that means is spend $50 today and receive a $25 catherines cash coupon for a future date where you then must spend another $50 to use the catherines cash coupon. So, really it is spend $50 today and get a coupon for $25 off for a future date of catherine's choosing and then we will let you spend another $50 on that date and let you use the coupon you spent your original $50 that you thought you were gonna get $25 for was for the day you they called today in the program notice stenciled on their front door. How cool would it be to have a store that told you up front look spend $50 today and we will give you a coupon for a future date we choose and then if you want to redeem it, you must spend another $50 to do so. Ohh, I get it---then no one would fall, ahem, I mean go for it cause it is misleading and dishonest. Okay, I get it now. No thank you.

I purchased an interview outfit and accessories totaling $168.00; however, when I got home and tried on the necklace, it wasn't for me. I returned it to the store without the receipt, but with the tag still attached and the CC I had used. The clerk had no record of the transaction in her computer. I was told that since I had no receipt, she could only issue me store credit. Understood. HOWEVER, the amount of the credit would be $11.00--not the $34.00 I paid. She said the store "prorates" returns. This is an unfair policy. So, if you absolutely must shop at Catherine's, but sure to bring $ and don't even think about making a return!

I have to go through hundreds of items to try to find the one I want. And the name does not come up. Difficult to contact anyone for help. Before they closed on the last day I was in the store shopping, I felt the lack of customer service in the Lynnwood Washington store.

I was so happy to see that Catherines came out with black and Jean coloered knit Jean pullons with working pockets in the front and the back last year! I ordered 4 pairs! Then I found the same colors and style in capris a week ago and ordered another 4 pair! So thrilled! Keep it up! Would be even better if more colors would be available! Yippee! I cannot find these anywhere else!
