They've raised their prices within the past 5-7 years, so you have to search out the deals and coupons, but their clothes are of a higher quality than most plus sized clothes. It's the best place for extended plus. If you're a regular plus, Kohls has better prices. If you have an issue and need customer service, call, don't web chat.
If there is one thing I know for sure it is that when a Brick&Mortar store was popular and it goes "Online only" and there are LOTS of negative reviews, steer clear. I haven't purchased, nor will I be purchasing anything from Catherines Online. They have more ONE STAR reviews than any well-established store should have. From quality of product, to shipping costs, to returns. Just horrible reviews. No thanks, who needs that headache. BTW the shipping costs really are criminal, just obscene.
It seems there is always a reason my coupons cannot be used. Too many rules and regulations about coupons and I think this is being done on purpose just to get people in the store. I have never been able to use a coupon yet. Today will be my last trip to Catherine's. It is much easier and cheaper to buy from sales catalogs such as, Blair, Woman Within and etc. No wonder stores are closing up all over. People really don't like being taken advantage of. I'm done!

The clothing is miss sized. In what universe is an 18/20 considered a Large? I returned the clothing, but didn't receive a credit. I emailed the company 3 times asking where my credit was. No response. I called the company and was told I would receive a $46.00 refund to my bank account. I only received $20.40! I will NEVER buy anything from this company again!

I am a first time Catherine's customer and my experience was not a good one. I can't get any help with a return that ended up getting sent back to me by mistake. What happened to "customer service"? I am a first and last time customer. I wont Waste my time on this company anymore.

I was a loyal Catherine's customer for many years. But this will be the last time I purchase anything from them. Their shipping process stinks & their customer service isn't any better. I still don't know how or if I will ever recieve my order. No real tracking... because the site says USPS & keeps adding days to expected day of delivery, then the automated phone says its coming by Fed ex which has been in limbo with no date to expect delivery. So I called customer service & I get no answers... Can't canceled, can't get my money back. All I can do is keep waiting. It is unacceptable that you can pay the shipping charges they ask for & have it take this long with no actual tracking... who knows if I will I ever get it. Never ever again will I order from Catherine's!

Worst experience ever. 10.99 to ship a 34.50 item, and 10.99 to return, bad customer service, waste of money and time. Go to Walmart and get the same items with free shipping and free returns. Not kidding!

I ordered an item on 7/26/2021and received an email confirmation on 7/28/2021 that my item had shipped. I then started tracking the package. I was given a delivery date - it came/went, no item. It then told me I would be notified when it shipped, again. As of today, 8/20/2021, no item, it's "still in route" and I can't get a refund until it's not been delivered for 30 days. Getting a customer service person is impossible! I love their items, but the shipping and customer service isn't worth it. Will never give them by business again!

Couldn't get discount code to work but ordered anyway. Received an email two days later telling me that code was wrong. Here's correct code. I asked them to apply it to my order. Said can't do but you can send the order back and recorder using the code. Does this make any sense? Will look for other companies to spend my money!

I have shopped at Catherines for years and years. I had about 50 pair of their knit pull on jeans that were so comfortable to wear. I thought I was ordering the same thing a few weeks ago and they sent me these pull on jeans, but they are not knit and the material is like sandpaper. I am so disappointed in the product that i don't intend to shop there anymore. I am not a customer who complains but these are beyond disgusting to me.

Labor Day online sale BANNER showed 30% OFF + Additional 20% OFF> I placed 4 items in my cart. During review of the pricing, only ONE item was reduced by the 30% AND the 20%. Two of the items were reduced by ONLY 20%. One item was reduced by less than 20%. If that's not BAIT & SWITCH, I don't know what is. Even a second-tier supervisor would not acknowledge the deceptive ad. All seven customer service agents gave different reasons for why the 30% discount was not applied! I think Catherine's is trying to make up for the fact that they were so poorly run that they declared BANKRUPTCY in 2020. Now they'll do whtever it takes to make up for their poor management!

Ordered $500 worth of clothing weeks ago. Order tracker states that items haven't shipped. After waiting on hold almost one hour with customer service, I was told they cannot cancel shipments "in process". Told them that was unacceptable. Was transferred to ‘supervisor' who told me no one could cancel my order, I would have to wait until it shipped and then send it back to them. Told her that was unacceptable. She hung up on me. The BBB needs to investigate this company, they are blatantly committing fraud.

Ordered item 11/29/22. Confirmation stated to be shipped 12/3/22. Never received. Never shipped. Contact Catherine's, wait until 12/24/2022, if not received contact them. Contacted again on 12/27/22. Replay: sent to warehouse 12/28/22, allow 20 days. Email of 12/29/22, refunded $15.75. I paid $23.41. They now state they never refund shipping. IT WAS NEVER SHIPPED. I want the item I ordered, I never requested a refund.

I have been a loyal customer for years in store and when they went online only.
BEWARE when purchasing from them. And make sure you read the fine print. If you need to return anything, you have a strict 60 days for returns, they don't care why. I even asked for store credit in lieu of a refund since I purchase from them often. She was rude and told me it wasn't going to happen. I won't be shopping with them ever again.

Told me they were going to take care of my problem once I sent in a police report stating I didn't receive my clothing. I sent in two affidavits and a police report and I tried calling to find out what was going on and they blocked me! Used a friend's phone and they told me the case was closed and I owed the money? Now why should I pay for something that I did not receive? This was during the Christmas season and I know a lot of people who had items stoled that were delivered.Told me I had too many issues reported? I only had one? HOW disrespectful to block me after@ 40 YEARS as a loyal customer!ll I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CATHERINE'S, for those who do,I would use a mailbox so you don't have to go through all that I did!

Catherine's we once knew is no longer. It's such a shame and very disappointing. There is absolutely no customer service…no phone calls, emails take weeks to be answered (IF they ever do). Shipping is extortion…. 19.99 shipping for order that takes 4-6 WEEKS to receive if lucky…God forbid they make a mistake and send the wrong product! I ordered something back in March and STILL haven't resolved the issue.
I recommend disputing your charge with your credit card company if we can not get satisfaction through the company. That's the only way to get their attention.
Our local Sarasota store was excellent…EXCELLENT customer service, great product.
I will NEVER recommend this company again if it remains the way it currently is operated. Such a shame.

Stay far away from this company I wished I read the reviews first. After a month of my order being placed I received my order with one of the items wrong. I now have to ship back the wrong item before they will ship out my correct item and that can take up to 5 weeks. Meanwhile I will have to pay for the item before I even receive it. No compensation for my trouble. Customer service is no help. I had called them 2 other times to check on this order and ask for a price adjustment since it did not ship. They would not make adjustments and the delivery was late.

I used to love Catherine's. In the store and online. Since they merged they are no longer the Catherine's I knew. Two orders of mine are still not shipped, after two weeks. Talking to costumer service was a waste of time. I've sent an email, no response. I did cancel my Catherine's credit card, since I won't be shopping there again, glad I charged my MC instead. So disappointed.

I have been a loyal shopper for 10+ years. Since they went to online only, the service is deplorable. I am now on my third week waiting for the order to ship. After holding for 35 mins to speak with someone, I was told I can't cancel the order until I get it and have to pay $10 to do it - and they had no insight into the status of the order. Done.

I have ordered from Catherine's for years, so I thought nothing of it when I placed my order on May 2. It is May 24 and not only do I still not have my order, but they cannot even give mean estimated ship date. I have emailed and called and I get a canned response. The automated phone system just hangs up. I ordered these clothes to wear for my daughters graduation and also for our vacation. She graduates in a week and I don't have the clothes. They had no issue taking my $375, but they can't ship my order. Now I am out $375 and still need to buy clothes. They are horrible.

I had an online coupon that would have allowed me to get 50% off a non sale item when I used my Catherine's credit card. The customer service representative tried to tell me that I'd have to spend my credit card first, then I could use my coupon. What? That's like going to the store, buying your item, then being able to use your coupon after the fact. The rep couldn't explain it to me how the coupon works. Then she tried to tell me that I couldn't use the coupon period because I didn't have enough credit. However, I had enough credit once the coupon code was applied. Then we were back to our circular argument. She would not let me speak to her supervisor. Bad customer service and false advertising with non functional coupons that overwhelm your email account. AVOID THEM!

I was in a store today and had the rudest Lady at the check out counter. I had waited 10 min to check out which is fine but when it was my turn the Store Manager took a customer that had just walked in and told me. I would have to wait. I waited for her to finish with that lady then had to wait as she wrote up one of her employees. Worse customer service ever

I've been a Catherine's customer for years but now never again. I ordered shorts and it took 1 month to get them. When I did receive them 1 pair came with no tags like it was a return. Tried to contact them and nothing. Customer service doesn't care. I will never shop there again.

I ordered $395 worth of cloths, the catalog said delivery in 7-14 days. After 30 days no order delivered even after customer service said it would be delivered in two days at day18. Calls and emails to customer service are no help. The supervisor said the 7-14 day delivery was after they ship but the catalog does not state that. When asked the supervisor could not define how long "processing" is.
Previous experience with the original Catherine's were good, the new company is very bad. If they could give me a date I could understand what to do. You can't cancel and they can't tell you when they will ship.

Not a viable online seller. Problems at ever step. Took 16 days for order to arrive. They gave it to USPS who held it for 5 days then gave it to FedEx ground who claimed to have unexpected weather delay of 3 days except tracking showed it was on a truck driving from Portland to Seattle, a 5 hour drive at a time it was clear and sunny. Ordered 4 items all way oversized and 1 item wasn't even what I ordered. Return hell was next. Wouldn't put it back on same card it was paid with, wouldn't ship the correct item, was told instant gift card credit if I took the item to one of their return stations. Credit never appeared so called and that was another lie now they say even though they have the item it will take a week for the credit. Meanwhile other items shrunk in length by 3 inches and are 4 inches bigger around than chart indicated. Now returning everything and never ordering from them or any of their group again.

Just don't. Clothing size and quality are awful. I had much better luck at Walmart online
