They've raised their prices within the past 5-7 years, so you have to search out the deals and coupons, but their clothes are of a higher quality than most plus sized clothes. It's the best place for extended plus. If you're a regular plus, Kohls has better prices. If you have an issue and need customer service, call, don't web chat.
If there is one thing I know for sure it is that when a Brick&Mortar store was popular and it goes "Online only" and there are LOTS of negative reviews, steer clear. I haven't purchased, nor will I be purchasing anything from Catherines Online. They have more ONE STAR reviews than any well-established store should have. From quality of product, to shipping costs, to returns. Just horrible reviews. No thanks, who needs that headache. BTW the shipping costs really are criminal, just obscene.
It took a long time for shipping to occur. I finally emailed (there didn't seem to be a number I could call) them and asked them to cancel the order and not to charge my credit card. Lo and behold, right after that email, I was informed by them that they were shipping my order. The event for which I ordered the clothing was over by the time I received the order, plus I wasn't very happy with the clothing, so I sent it back. Then I was informed via email that a restocking fee would be applied and that anything I bought on sale would not be refunded, but would be given to charity. It's wonderful to give to charity, but this is not the right way to do it. All this frustration, including the very high shipping cost, very slow shipping, terrible customer service, and the "refund" situation leaves me feeling rather deceived and taken advantage of. I will never order from this company again, and I'm hesitant to order from any company affiliated with them.

You wait FOREVER for your order. The tracking information is just plain wrong. I was on hold for a half hour before their phone system hung up on me. They tell you nothing in their emails. I used to shop in their stores because I like their clothing. My first (and now only!) order on line has only been partially received. DON'T EVER SHOP ON LINE AT CATHERINE'S! Never Again! You've lost a good customer forever!

I visited your store in Longview Texas & was greeted by your employee-Lytandra (store#*******). She is a real asset to Catherines. Ms Lytandra was exceptionally polite throughout my transaction. She was extremely patient& helpful to me. Being in a wheelchair didn't alter her profession attitude & helpfulness to other customers. Ms Lytandra made my shopping experience delightful. I googled the Indigo Convertible Mule it came up $50.30 at Catherine's. I attempted to check out said item and was unable to apply the discount (caespecial). I called the toll free number and I spoke with a yng lady who told me tht I ws nit entitled to the discount bc said item ws on back order and it would not apply bc I wanted a 9w instead of a regular 9m. So I went back into my bag and put a 9m (in Stocked) into the bag. Again, I tried to used the discount and it came up $53.99. I asked wht happened to the $50.39. I explained tht the website say $50.39. I wanted the item tht cost $50.39. She placed on hold someone made the correction on the www.Nancy the Mgr gets on the line and tells me she would not HONOR the $50.39 and was not authorized to make such adjustments. She ws a bit ABRASIVE. NEEDLESS to say I will not be purchasing from this Company EVER AGAIN! CATHERINE'S DO BETTER! This debacle started on 4/22/2023

I ordered three bras at $49. Each. Size 3 8d. One of them was the wrong size but probably wouldn't fit anyway. I measured the band size and they were 30" and 32". Tried to get a return label and they don't do that. So you have to pay the shipping to get the product and return it. I am two hours from the store.

They have a program going on right now that says spend $50 today and receive $25. But what that means is spend $50 today and receive a $25 catherines cash coupon for a future date where you then must spend another $50 to use the catherines cash coupon. So, really it is spend $50 today and get a coupon for $25 off for a future date of catherine's choosing and then we will let you spend another $50 on that date and let you use the coupon you spent your original $50 that you thought you were gonna get $25 for was for the day you they called today in the program notice stenciled on their front door. How cool would it be to have a store that told you up front look spend $50 today and we will give you a coupon for a future date we choose and then if you want to redeem it, you must spend another $50 to do so. Ohh, I get it---then no one would fall, ahem, I mean go for it cause it is misleading and dishonest. Okay, I get it now. No thank you.

I purchased an interview outfit and accessories totaling $168.00; however, when I got home and tried on the necklace, it wasn't for me. I returned it to the store without the receipt, but with the tag still attached and the CC I had used. The clerk had no record of the transaction in her computer. I was told that since I had no receipt, she could only issue me store credit. Understood. HOWEVER, the amount of the credit would be $11.00--not the $34.00 I paid. She said the store "prorates" returns. This is an unfair policy. So, if you absolutely must shop at Catherine's, but sure to bring $ and don't even think about making a return!

I was so happy to see that Catherines came out with black and Jean coloered knit Jean pullons with working pockets in the front and the back last year! I ordered 4 pairs! Then I found the same colors and style in capris a week ago and ordered another 4 pair! So thrilled! Keep it up! Would be even better if more colors would be available! Yippee! I cannot find these anywhere else!

I ordered 1 blouse, 1 package of underwear and 2 pair of jeans. I received my blouse and underwear in May, but the 2 pair of jeans were put on backorder. The amount for the blouse and underwear was deducted from my account including $25 dollars for shipping. Now I am being told that the system cancelled my order and I will not be getting my jeans because they do not have them. In spite of only receiving half of my order, I am still being charged the 25 dollars for shipping. I would have NEVER paid $25. For shipping for a blouse and underwear. This is ridiculous...

I have spent $1000, s of dollars at Catherines but with that said... I made a purchase online and used a coupon they had sent me. Within a few days I had my item but in that time the price went down $70! I called requesting a simple price adjustment but was informed that because I had used a small coupon I was not entitled to the sale price! I was told to return the purchase and repurchase it... wasting my time for the same results. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE... sent the message to me that my loyality as a customer meant nothing. The small $ amt compensation would have made me happy and kept me as a satisfied customer. Shame on you

Ladies! If you order from Catherine's don't. I place a order on September 30 for a swim set for Physical therapy then, was told it was on backorder until December 17th. So I had to find one else where. So I called daily to cancel each time was told it had not been processed in their system. So I couldn't cancel it yet. This morning the swim top was charged to my bank account. I called and talked to a supervisor who said she didn't know why they couldn't cancel before now. NO MORE CATHERINE'S FOR ME.

I ordered 3 swimsuits ($217.86) on 6/26/23 for a cruise I was taking on 8/3/23. I received a "shipping confirmation" from FedEx on 6/28/23. I immediately checked the tracking and Fed Ex showed the label was created but they were still awaiting the package (not actually shipped). I periodically checked the tracking hoping for an update, but nothing changed. It never shipped. A couple of weeks later, I called to cancel my order and was told I had to wait 21 days to allow time for the package to reach me. So I waited. Around the 23 day mark, I called again and this time was told I had to wait 21 BUSINESS DAYS (almost 30 actual days) before they would issue a refund. So again I waited. I went on my cruise, kids went back to school, and I honestly forgot about my order until today - 9/5/23. I called customer service and requested the refund for a THIRD TIME. This time I was told that I was past the 60 window for a refund. I argued that I wasn't trying to return something after the 60 day window, they never shipped me anything, They refused. I escalated it to a "supervisor" and still nothing. They absolutely refused to refund me for products that they NEVER SHIPPED. I had no choice but to call my bank a file a dispute They are a HORRIBLE company. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else.

All items found in stores and on the website are found in Walmart. The 30.00 bedazzled and printed shirts and moo moo dresses were top style for the 80s. They do not have stylish blazers, for the young large size career woman who will need to go from the office to a dinner party. They do have everything a person who enjoyed the late 80s and early 90's.
Update is needed on the retro sweaters. I thought they had everything but a sweater with a animal on it... and there it was..

I purchased a pair of slip on jeans earlier this year and it took 3 months to get them. I realized when I finally got them that they weren't actually quite what I wanted and since you lose so much money returning them and decided to order another pair of the one I liked online. That was in the middle of June. As soon as I ordered them I got an email saying they were backordered until the end of October. Ridiculous, but I really wanted them. Today, 3 months after I ordered, I received an email saying they cancelled my order because my bank had dropped the pending order because it had been sitting there so long! I then called to ask "what on earth" and asked if I could go ahead and reorder and they said sure. I asked if I would I still get it in Oct, NO, IT IS ON BACKORDER UNTIL THE END OF DEC. WORST COMPANY EVER. Of course I told them to forget it.

So, when you call to talk to customer service, you reach someone in India or somewhere, they have a barnyard with ROOSTERS so loud in the background you can't hear them even if you're lucky enough to understand their broken English, and I might add, it sounds like those roosters are in the same room as the customer UNservice. Also, shipping is outrageous, clothes aren't sized right from most of their sister companies, go local, go in person. In handicapped, so I like shopping online. Done with this company.

On 7/15/20 Catherine's withdrew money (47.85) for my product... on 7/17/20 I recieved my product in the wrong size! On 7/18/20 after calling customer service I recieved a $20.00 credit! On7/19/20 Catherine's withdrew (47.70) on my new order on 7/23/20 I recieved my correct order... I also called customer service 7/23/20 spoke to Toloria and said they owed me $$$ had to literally argue for over 30 minutes with them trying to state they owe me NOTHING very disappointing!

I purchased 2 pairs of capris one was black and one was dark jean. The jeans had a terrible smell it smelled like formaldehyde or moth balls? Black pair had no smell?
Black pair made in Vietnam and stinky jean capris made in China. Plus the jeans capris after one wash stunk and the bottom of pants rolling upwards really? My husband said the entire load stinks I know they will not refund my money I am calling head quarters and complaining.
I had a leather pair of shoes made in China and they had same smell. I bought Joy Mangano luggage a year ago and they had same smell one of the reviews said this is a cancer causing chemical that China uses got a refund! Buyer beware! Mad in Brandon Fl...
