They've raised their prices within the past 5-7 years, so you have to search out the deals and coupons, but their clothes are of a higher quality than most plus sized clothes. It's the best place for extended plus. If you're a regular plus, Kohls has better prices. If you have an issue and need customer service, call, don't web chat.

If there is one thing I know for sure it is that when a Brick&Mortar store was popular and it goes "Online only" and there are LOTS of negative reviews, steer clear. I haven't purchased, nor will I be purchasing anything from Catherines Online. They have more ONE STAR reviews than any well-established store should have. From quality of product, to shipping costs, to returns. Just horrible reviews. No thanks, who needs that headache. BTW the shipping costs really are criminal, just obscene.

This company is a complete SCAM! I'm not sure where these clothes are 'put together' but it's obvious that they do not know what they are doing. The prices are a JOKE; might look like a great item for a great price - DO NOT BE FOOLED. It's all GARBAGE. By the way, when you return ANYTHING, there is a BS $10.99 restocking fee; seriously? All they have to do is throw it back into the garbage factory. Trying to 'chat' with someone about LATE DELIVERIES - you get an incompetent person who has no clue. Extremely unprofessional, unfriendly, and these people obviously have no idea what garbage is being shipped out.

Although I throughly love shopping at Catherine's, online the color I ordered was Bombshell Yellow, the color I received was Schoolbus Yellow. Not what I ordered, so now I have to put gas in my car drive well over 30 miles to exchange this! Maybe I should rent a car and send you the bill, I live on a fixed income, that doesn't mean I want to dress like it. Thank you

I just received a mail order which included a "buy two, get one free" offer. I discovered that only two of the items were shipped and immediately called customer service. They stated that I should have added three items to my cart for check out and the third item would have been free. I explained that that the directions were vague and it appeared that the "system" would add the third item at checkout. I'm an intelligent woman and long term Catherines customer, and tried to make them understand their language was unclear / misleading. When I inquired about what they could to do correct the situation, I was told that because the promotion code was no longer being offered they could not help me. WHAT! I then asked what else could be done to make this right. Again, they were unwilling to find a fix. If Catherine's as a business is unwilling to work with the customer, then customers will leave, period. This isn't rocket science, get someone at the call centers who have decision making abilities and empower them to make things right. We lovely plus size ladies have options, and away I go to the Avenue.

I bought a pair of pants and wore them 1 time, for about 2 hours and got home and the back seam was coming undone in about 4 different places. I took the pants and receipt back to the store, showed the back seam to the lady and how it was coming undone. She said I could not return or exchange them because I wore them. I WILL NOT GO BACK.

I placed an online order on June 27 for a swimsuit cover up for my mother, In hopes that it would arrive on or before July 9. I checked my email and the item hasn't been shipped yet. I called to cancel the order and was told I CAN NOT cancel the order. I was told my only option is to wait to receive the item and then return it. Not only will I never order anything else from them, I'm asking them to make their delayed shipment policy VISIBLE AND CLEAR! DO NOT ORDER FROM CATHERINES IF YOU WANT YOUR ITEMS WITHIN A MONTH!

I ordered a package of womens underwear on 4/7/21 and as of today 4/26/21 (21 days later) I do not have my package. Customer service tells me I choose the CHEAP delivers service the U.S.A. postal Service...$14.99 for a small package of nylon underwear. Customer Service says it is not them... she said the post office doesn't work on Saturday and Sunday. That's news to me. I have Saturday delivery here. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM CATHERINES UNLESS HELL FREEZES OVER.

I wish I could have given 0 stars. After being on hold for over an hour, Catherine's rep and supervisor both treated me like a liar, and talked to me like I was stupid. I placed 2 orders this week, and neither of the 2 codes went through. When I called to tell them about the glitch in their system, I was yelled at by the rep, and the supervisor said there was nothing she could do for me because according to her, "I forgot" to put the codes in. She also refused to let me cancel my orders. The only reason that I ordered from them to begin with, is because I got an apology email from them 2 weeks ago for them being so slow last year, and they told me they were sorry that I had to wait so long, (4 months). They asked me to give them another chance to make it all right... well I fell for it, and I am the one out of the $70 worth the codes, along with having to wait to see just how long it takes for me to get my merchandise. After I have been ordering from Catherine's for 10+ years, I know how to complete an order form. I don't recommend them to anyone anymore I am no longer going to order anything else from them... period!

It was absolute and utter hell. I needed the dress for a wedding this Sunday. I am traveling on Saturday. I called your CS to get the package held at UPS so I could pick it up today. Your CS said they don't do that I had to call. I called UPS and was told it is at customer center in Ontario. I drove up there in the pouring rain to find that your company allows no changes to delivery. Why did your CS tell me to call? They should know that. Now I have no dress for the wedding. I can't travel tomorrow. This fiasco is costing me $$ and sent me on a wild goose chase. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH YOU OR ANY OTHER STORE IN YOUR COMPANY AND I WILL BE SURE TO LEAVE THAT FEEDBACK FOR THE WORLD TO SEE.

These folks that took over Catherine's stores is a mess, I was charged shipping and handling charges that supposed to be free, I returned all the merchandise, at my own expense, now the bank add late charges on my account, due to Catherine's refusal to refund this shipping charge, STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I'm just waiting to pay off my account, then I'm going to close it, indefinitely! Suprema Capri pants used to be of good quality, made in Indonesia, now they are made in CHINA! CHEAPLY MADE, CHEAP MATERIAL, SEAMS ARE FALLING APART! PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE FROM CATHERINE'S! IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, THAN READ ALL OF THE OTHER REVIEWS.

After waiting five business days I try to call to see if they've shipped my order yet being as they charge you $9.99 to ship which is outrageously expensive because it's just regular shipping! When I called two different reps I spoke with told me my pmts didn't go thru. After calling my bank my bank tells me they just haven't taken the payment yet it went through all right as I knew it did. Feeling ripped off I filed a dispute with my bank then to find out later that day from another manager that they don't take the payment until they ship so I had to back the dispute out of my bank which was a big hassle then I simply asked since you charge me $9.99 for shipping which is outrageous when are you going to ship it they said they could take 7 to 14 days to ship it I said that's not what's your thing says and they really didn't care not one bit! I'm thinking if you're going to charge somebody $10 for regular shipping then you should ship it out right away because that's extremely expensive you could have it overnighted for that charge! This is the worst company I think I've ever dealt with and I would never advise anyone to purchase from them unless you have a long time to wait for your product which I hear there merchandise is cheaply made. At this point they don't know when they will ship it so I don't know if I will get my swimsuit before fall? I'm extremely disappointed

Jan. 2017 they had a clearance sale. The come on: Buy one, put one in the cart free. So I buy two each of several items. Two of the same item, so they are the same price. Full price for first one, second one free? They charge me full price for both of the more expensive items & give me two cheaper items free. My bill was $40 more than I expected. Called them twice & emailed. This is a bait & switch! Beware they also offered an item listed like $18-$19. Usually 0X-2X is the cheaper price & 3X-5X is the higher price? Wrong, I checked each size NONE of the sizes were priced at the lower price. All of them 0X-5X were the higher price. Catherine's is not well managed!

I experienced six problems with Catherines, Inc in 10 weeks, while spending $400.
* submitted a charge twice
* omitted application of a discount to a sale
* delivered items not ordered
* stated a coupon was worth $25 but noted 25% in data base (Pedro, CSR Super)
* promised to email a coupon but didn't do it on two ocassions ( Sandra, CSR Super)
* rude & dismissive (Thomas, Mngr)
It appears to me that mistakes are made by design by management. Buyer Beware!

Their customer service is a joke and shouldn't be allowed to label itself as any type of service for customers. Evidently your order doesn't show up on their site as existing until it is shipped (which can take weeks). Not knowing this little tidbit of information, I freaked that the order I placed for my sister's birthday present didn't exist. Even when I typed in the order # that I had screen grabbed it still said it didn't exist. Of course I immediately reordered it - thinking perhaps I forgot to hit the place order button.

Well, long story short (too late) I finally got an email stating my 1st order had shipped so I called up the company to cancel the second order that I placed only 2 days earlier and shows it doesn't exist on the website. Their response, too bad so sad we can't help you. They couldn't even contact the warehouse to see if the order had started processing. Oh, but if I wanted to email the company I could and someone might be able to help me...

There are way too many companies out their that cater to the big and beautiful women of this world, I don't need to give my clothing budget to Catherine's or any of the subsidiaries attached to the Catherine's website.

I ORDERED 2 DRESSES LAST NIGHT. THE COMPANY OVERCHARGED ME BY $10 EACH AND WHEN I CALLED THEM THIS MORNING, THEY REFUSED TO HONOR THE LOWER PRICE. I ASKED THEM TO CANCEL THE ORDER AND I WOULD REORDER AT THE LOWER PRICE. THEY INDICATED ALTHOUGH THE ORDER WAS NOT COMPLETED OR SHIPPED, THEY COULD NOT CANCEL THE ORDER. I WOULD HAVE TO ACCEPT THE DELVIERY AND THEN SEND IT BACK. HANDLING AND PROCESSING FEES ARE TOO HIGH. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SEE A MULTITUDE OF SIMILAR COMPLAINTS. I TOO WILL NOT SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN. TIME TO MAKE A BETTER BUSINESS AND YELP COMPLAINT AS WELL. THIS DOES NOT WORK!

Placed an order on 3/31/21, still has not shipped no ship day known! But have already took my $ out of my Acct! Held 1 hour 45 mins to find out no known ship date!

Customer service is horrible, shipping times leaving whse is awful, and you have to pay to return items if needed, also takes the money out before order ships
