If there is something below 1 star, I will give it to this website. First, I sent my question, and the answer was a copy and paste of my question! Isn't that a big joke? I sent the same question, and someone copy and paste something from google as an answer to my question! There is no room to chat with whoever sends the answer, so if you would like to get another answer you have to use the limited number of questions they give you. I don't advise anyone to subscribe to this website!
Chegg has the absolute worst customer service. I have not been able to use this service since the first week I bought the Chegg Study subscription. I used the service within guidelines and was told that my account was temporarily suspended due to "suspicious activity". The popup redirected me to change my password which I did over four times. I then proceeded to contact Chegg over five times through different ways (SMS, Call,) and no one was able to help me. I spent over two hours contacting Chegg through SMS. Finally, I was told they would escalate my account review to reinstate my account and that I would receive an email by Thursday morning at 9am from Chegg and I never did. My account has remained temporarily suspended with no explanation. I am extremely frustrated that I was redirected so many times and this issue was never resolved after over a month. It is very disheartening to pay for a service I barely got to use. It literally feels like theft.
You can find solution for easy question, but most complicated engineering question, the answers are wrong. There are some smart tutor but mostly I found cheg unhelpful. The tutor usually copy from solution manual and writes it down here.
They don't allow you to use multiple device, every time I try to switch from school computer to my home computer, I have to go through the process of swapping device and receiving code and all the nonsense.
I have been chegg customer for long time and they do not value at all their clients. If you log in into different computers, they automacally suspend your account. No one, you can talk to your issue. You have to wait three days to get respond. They know, it is computer error. I talked to one of their representative, they could not dare to answer my questions. They are so rude. Do not ever call them, they won't help you at all. It is wasting time.
They charged us twice, and told us that we had to order another subscription? Still waiting for refund. Their cusotmer service stinks. The girl I had on the phone hung up on me. They do nothing to help the customer, and in most cases these are STUDENTS, with not much money in their bank accounts! Shame on you.
I ordered a chegg book and i will honestly never do it again they had horrible customer service and if they think that you didn't put it in the mail on time they will charge anyway without calling just send you an email saying oh hey we took 202 out of your account sorry about just send us your book back. And in order to reach a customer service rep i had to stay on the line for about 20 minutes. So my bank account was in the negative for about two weeks before i was refunded the money. So I would personally like to thank chegg for creating the most stressful two weeks of my life and making me so broke that my bank actually started to charge me for how broke I was.
They surcharged my card and stole from me and never even gave me what they promised sad sad sad excuse of a site... the CEO is also racist saw the comments regarding complaints on Facebook were mostly black
I purchased the membership without reading the reviews. Lesson learned! It is a scam! As soon as I paid, I went on to ask a question… it takes a while to have your question answered and you only get a limited number of questions per month! Do not waste your money! I canceled soon after purchasing and I was still not given a refund!
I got a subscription to chegg to use it for supplement material and textbook solutions. They ended up flagging my account as being "shared" when it never was and cut me off from services. I had already paid for the service and now have no access to my account. Do no get chegg, they will take your money and cut off service.
I have cancelled my subscription last time as well. Still every moth you people charged me for no reason. Today I cancelled again. I need confirmation as my credit card is on your file. I don't like this process when someone ended your subscription then you chegg people who work on customer don't work on the process we as a student attempt

Answer: The monthly money is for an additional service. You can opt out of it at the time of your order. Supposedly. Check other reviews. Many of them say they were still charged after canceling the service. My best suggestion is to stay away from Chegg if at all possible.
