Chico's has a very bad return policy. 60 days and that's it. No store credit, no exchanges. Why?!
How can you buy a gift for your wife. Terrible and old practice. My wife and her girlfriends used to like this store. No more
I bought a pair of stretch shorts at Chicos. One leg hem started to come undone after the first washing. Now after three washings the hem is completely undone. Will not buy shorts from them again.
I ordered one pair of jeans at a ridiculous price ( I really liked the look) but when I received them a week later, they were defective. The front pocket edges looked worn and frayed... the fabric was obviously defective and the jeans should NOT have been sold in that condition. I ordered a petite length and they were literally 5 inches too long! When I contacted customer service through their "chat" feature regarding a return, it was a nightmare. Obviously located out of the country and the reps were of very little help. They say it takes 3-4 weeks to get a refund and they only offer returns through USPS... I'm sure it will be conveniently "lost". I decided to drive 15 mile to the nearest store to make sure I got my FULL refund. Their website says there is a $7 return fee... why should I have to pay a fee to return a garment that is defective... their fault, not mine! It will be the last time I ever purchase from this overpriced company!
I purchased a top at the Chico's Tanger Outlet in DE in March and just wore it for the first time. The material was bleached from my deodorant (Secret). I called Chico's to see what could be done to remedy the situation, and they said they could only send me a new one but that I would have to pay since it was not a defect with the material. Are you kidding me? I've never worn another article of clothing that has reacted with my deodorant.
The meal looked nothing like the photo. Every thing was over cooked. Four small crab claws. Far to much bread. The sea bass was tasteless. Salmon overcooked. Was it worth the £58.00.? NO... I had better food from the fish and chip. For my lunch.
Purchased a top. Wore it first time on a cruise and the top stitching unraveled right after I put it on, so, I had one less outfit to wear. Contacted Chico's. They could not replace, as it was out of stock. I get that. Offered a return and refund. Since I liked the style, I offered to repair it, myself, if they would give me a partial refund. They offered $5.00! That was an insult! It would cost me that much in time and travel to return it, and my time and skills to repair their faulty quality is worth more than $5.00! (Not to mention they would have thrown it away had I returned it, anyway!) I will NEVER shop at Chico's again! Poor quality and even poorer customer service!
Bought a Navy blue dress from Chico's and after following the washing instructions on the dress I saw that the dress had shrunk and the lining was coming down longer than the dress itself. Also around the sleeves. I did not wear it right away so I had not idea this was going to happen. I was told that since I was calling about this issue past 60 day of the date of purchase they could not do anything for me. I consider this to be very poor poor customer service. Very disappointed, I have been a customer for over 15 years.
I am going on a cruise in a few weeks and I was short on time finding the clothes I would like to wear. So I ordered Chico's on line service. Everything went smoothly. I actually got my clothes earlier than expected and they fit like a glove. Thank you Chico's.
Twice I have ordered the item as it appeared available on their site.
Twice they have cancelled my order. Someone who runs the site needs to check if an item is available before posting it! Frustrating.
I returned a dress to a local Chico's on August 8th. I called Chico's on 08/22/2023 and received an email that is attached. It says the credit was issued by Chico's. I still haven't received the credit. When I spoke to Jane with Chico's this morning she said I need to contact PayPal since I used the pay in 4 that PayPal offers on Chico's website. Chico's is 'passing the buck'. There isn't a way to speak with an actual person at PayPal and the customer service is nonexistent on their site. I told Jane with Chico's that if Chico's wanted to keep a customer they would make it right and issue me a credit and settle with PayPal. She wasn't willing to try to keep me as a customer so I will never shop at Chico's again. I will tell my friends and family what happened to me. The credit was less than $100 but it is a lot of money for me right now. I'm paying interest on my credit card for a dress I returned to Chico's.

You can't return Chico's Off the Rack purchase to a Chico store. You have to return the purchase to a Chico's outlet store. Bummer. Outlet store is 1 to 1 1/2 hours from me. Worker in Okemos MI store was also not friendly or warm in the least.
As I am writing this I now have been on hold for over 2 hours waiting for a customer service agent to answer. I'm beginning to wonder if the department even exists. I've been ordering online for years. I've placed my last order. This is ridiculous.
They used to care about customers. Now they just push sales and things that are out of stock or never reach you after you order and pay for them! Can't get anyone on phone email or chat! I ordered in Jun 2022 will not reveal my name or order number but it is real. 4 items, over 100 $.
Never received delivery after five weeks. Wont refund me, tracking numbers given from Chico, addresses on tracking no where near my address in the UK. Has anyone else experience no delivery of purchases? I am starting to believe they were never sent and its a scam.
I spent 10 minutes on line placing order offer to make payment with Amazon took all my info logged in and then when going to check out asked for another credit card. Contacted chat they could not helped me. 30 minutes later still unable to check out WOW, careful of this company.
After being a loyal and appreciative customer for years, I have decided to end my relationship with Chico's.
They HAD the most stylish and well made clothing I had purchased in my life time. Yup, I am older but Chico's clothing made me feel beautiful. Their designs were well suited for the office and casual wears and the lovely models they used always showed the clothes to their advantage. Customer service was superior.
Now, customer service has resorted to generic responses and no longer addresses inquiries with a direct response, but a ridiculous scripted narrative, apologizing and suggesting that one try there other entities such as Soma.
Quality and styles are now comparable to less expensive markets and the prices do not equal the quality. I'm done.
I have not been happy with the feel and quality of the materials used in Chico's apparel in the last five years. I just bought online and have returned an alluring gray and orange tweed shawl. It looked soft, warm, pliable. It arrived promptly but turned out to be thin material, almost rough to the touch, not offering much warmth, though it draped nicely. It just felt cheap. And though I did buy it ar 40% off (I would never have paid full price, it was well over $100) even on the sale price it felt far too pricey for what it was. I have returned it.
I saw a Chico's online ad on Instagram selling all clearance clothing items for $9.90 each plus 20% discount if you bought 8 items, with free shipping. Everything looked legit so I placed the order. I have not heard anything from the company as to delivery, order tracking, nothing...A customer service email address was provided which looks like an email address from China. No response has been received at all even though I've sent two emails. No customer service number was provided. My credit card was charged. Now I don't see the Chico's ad on Instagram at all. The Chico's logo and website looked just like the real store. When I placed the order, it was through Chicos.com. I did not suspect I was NOT on the real Chico's website.I think this is a fake site using a legitimate U.S. company's logo, etc. Also, I initially received a confirmation email when I first placed the order, but now when I opened the same email and click on "details of order" or "see our store" all I get is an error message saying "this site cannot provide a secure connection" and also another message saying that the website sent an invalid response. I just want to warn others about this scam. I have file a claim through my bank to dispute the charges and get a refund.
While I have always loved Chico clothes, lately when online viewing current styles particularly the tops, they are not in my opinion sharp or attractive. The patterns look very busy and almost frumpy.
In the past, Chico styles were sharp, timeless and not too trendy.
Unfortunately, I had a gift card and will hold off as I did not see one thing that really caught my eye.

I returned an item that I ordered because it was "ill fitting." Not too large or too small, but the cut was weird. Three weeks after returning it, I finally got the credit: 1/3 of what I'd paid for it, which was already on sale! Obviously the product was flawed if they had to mark it down that much, but then for sure I should have been refunded what I paid for it, out of good will. None of that (good will) at Chico's, and not much great inventory anymore, either. This store is going downhill fast.
Answer: I'm not sure what Chico items you are talking about, but the majority are made with a material that easily washes and doesn't need ironing. In fact, you can pack a lot of their clothes and take them right out of the suitcase and wear. Maybe you are not buying the correct tops that go with your body. I would suggest when you go in the store is ask for assistance. They have shoppers for their customers that coordinate outfits and can pick out clothes that will look amazing on your body. Try that and then see how you feel about their clothes. I know I sound like I work for them, but I don't. I'm just a frequent customer that loves their clothes and sales and what their clothes do to my body.
Answer: Its pretty easy. Just call. But sometimes you will be on hold for awhile.
Answer: The fit seemed good until I wore them once. They stretched out so much and so fast that I was pulling them up all day. It was so uncomfortable and I contacted them to see if I could exchange or get a credit and they would not do it.
